I walked in to a cool, clean and inviting atmosphere, with the friendly Grace smiling, waiting to help me. Grace was very knowledgeable and professional. She answered all of my questions and even gave me few tips about my spray that I didn't know I needed. She was very clear about describing (and acting out) the different poses so that I could make sure my spray was nice and even. Grace alone earned the five stars, but the beautiful bronze I was given, kept my review at five stars. I have a very fair complexion and burn easily without SPF. Self tanners always come out orangey or dark, and I've always been hesitant to spray tan because of all the horror stories you hear. I decided to take it slow my first time and went with a level 1 to give myself a bronzed glow. I look like I spent weeks somewhere tropical! The bronze is gorgeous and even. No splotchiness! The spray evened out my skin tone and has blurred many imperfections. I walked out feeling great. Thank you Grace and Tan Republic for wonderful first experience!

This place is actually called Palm Beach Tan now, and the website is http://www.palmbeachtan.com…read more It's NOT Desert Sun Tanning Salon anymore. I have been to this place a few times, and I'm pretty pleased with the service and the tanning. I don't do the tanning beds--only the Mystic Tan (spray tan). The girl told me that Mystic Tan has a new system and tanning colors--she said that they improved the color and now there are also more levels to choose from. I went with the medium color, a level 2 I believe, and it was perfect. I think 3 would be way too dark. Only thing that I'm a bit iffy about is their pricing--30 bucks for just a one-time spray tan. I would expect it to be a bit cheaper, as it's Redding (back in my hometown of Napa I could get a one-time spray tan for $25). Not that big of difference, but still. You can also sign up for a membership which will save you a lot of money if you plan on spray tanning more than twice a month. That's probably the best option for a regular spray-tanner like myself! :)

Update Sept 2018*******…read more Well unfortunately my review of Bronzed Diamond has changed. As my first experience with Shelly was phenomenal and something to write to the papers about. Sadly like with most good things must come to an end. I referred a girlfriend there about a month ago, and she set up the appointment and Shelly later had unexpected conflicts and Shelly cancelled a few hours before. Thinking life happens, I set up an appointment for myself on Tuesday for Thursday 6pm for a tan. Shelly's location had changed since the last time, but she was willing to bring a "pop-up" tent and do it in her friends back yard in Red-bluff. Sounded odd, but I was more than willing to give a little to have such a great tanning experience again. My advice, if it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck... I drove 45 mins to the said location, called twice, voicemail was full couldn't leave a message and even texted her. 15 mins later after scheduled time she texts me back saying she thought she text me and that I replied but she couldn't find her equipment and that she couldn't do the tan. I was very disappointed as one, I received no texts as stated, drive 45 mins for nothing and wasted two days where I could have called somewhere else... I do not recommend this place as she appears to not follow through with appointments. She was very nice, and did great work, but unfortunately this type business relies proper scheduling commitments. Best of luck. I was skeptical about all the normal misconception of spray tanning. However my gut led me to Shelly while randomly selecting a place from yelp. I could not be happier with my first experience with spray/air brush tanning. Shelly is not only knowledgeable but very passionate about her business. She makes you feel as comfortable as you can get being nude in front of someone new. She explains everything down to the product that you are putting on your body. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be returning and I'll surely be telling all my girl friends. My tan came out perfect, even, and natural. I trusted the right person. Came in not pleased and self conscience with a dress I have to wear as a bridesmaid next week. The light pink color mixed with my skin tone made me feel very uncomfortable. I tried the dress after a couple hours after and I feel amazing!!! Mind blowing what her tans can do for confidence. She nailed my tone perfectly. Thank you very much Shelly!

She has a way of making you feel so comfortable and welcome, and will spoil you as if you are being treated at a spa. I've always been a "tanning bed" girl, but she officially has me hooked on these spray tans! Plus, all of the solutions she uses are fully organic so they are safe for your skin, and she will never use any product on you that she hasn't tested on herself first. I love going to her knowing that not only is she using the best professional products available, but that my skin will have a gorgeous, healthy glow that never fails!
