This review is more directed at the staffing. I always put my account on stay and save every year for the winter, I wanted to activate it and get a spray tan today. It took me 45 minutes just to convince the employees I JUST WANT A SPRAY TAN, I didn't want any of the 45 products they were trying to sell me. Different employees kept coming and interjecting their thoughts and opinions and showing more products while the man at the counter was already trying to help me and doing the same thing. I voiced many times that i don't want any products and this experience was very overwhelming. Many times actually. I finally got my spray tan, but by the end they were very short with me and didn't even show me how to use the spray tan machine, I have only ever done a spray once before many years ago before they had this new equipment. I'm not sure if somehow this store went commission based on selling products, but I was kinda sad because it used to be a friendly comfortable place and I never felt pressured to buy anything at all. Kinda a bummer and I'll be canceling my membership entirely at the end of the month and not returning. It's a sad goodbye.

Sadly like with most good things must come to an end. I referred a girlfriend there about a month ago, and she set up the appointment and Shelly later had unexpected conflicts and Shelly cancelled a few hours before. Thinking life happens, I set up an appointment for myself on Tuesday for Thursday 6pm for a tan. Shelly's location had changed since the last time, but she was willing to bring a "pop-up" tent and do it in her friends back yard in Red-bluff. Sounded odd, but I was more than willing to give a little to have such a great tanning experience again. My advice, if it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck... I drove 45 mins to the said location, called twice, voicemail was full couldn't leave a message and even texted her. 15 mins later after scheduled time she texts me back saying she thought she text me and that I replied but she couldn't find her equipment and that she couldn't do the tan. I was very disappointed as one, I received no texts as stated, drive 45 mins for nothing and wasted two days where I could have called somewhere else... I do not recommend this place as she appears to not follow through with appointments. She was very nice, and did great work, but unfortunately this type business relies proper scheduling commitments. Best of luck. I was skeptical about all the normal misconception of spray tanning. However my gut led me to Shelly while randomly selecting a place from yelp. I could not be happier with my first experience with spray/air brush tanning. Shelly is not only knowledgeable but very passionate about her business. She makes you feel as comfortable as you can get being nude in front of someone new. She explains everything down to the product that you are putting on your body. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be returning and I'll surely be telling all my girl friends. My tan came out perfect, even, and natural. I trusted the right person. Came in not pleased and self conscience with a dress I have to wear as a bridesmaid next week. The light pink color mixed with my skin tone made me feel very uncomfortable. I explained to them that I paid extra for something that was supposed to keep something from happening and I think it may have caused it. And they said yeah, we have something better now. This is a cream that you apply prior to your spray tan. First thing here is if you know your spray tan is going to turn people orange, maybe that issue needs to be addressed? But OK they said it's five dollars but you won't need the other one so it's really only three dollars if you want to do this one instead of the discontinued one. OK I thought maybe this one will actually work. Actually no my tan looks like a mess. It's very splotchy and literally the back of my hands look like dirt. The tan is streaky and I'm nervous about what it's gonna look like tomorrow. Also, I got a charge for $7.45, not three dollars. I have no idea what this is for and I can't get a hold of anybody to ask. Something similar happened last week with an excessive charge. So I'm heading over $100 a month for this membership, and being hit with these excess charges to prevent it from looking like a messy orange baked tan, which it now creates?
