I have been to several tanning salons and this has to be the best I ever been to! They have so many different style beds & stand ups to choose from and all are new and state of the art! Not the old, worn burnt out beds like other places. I definitely recommend this hidden gem! And you can use any of the beds/standup and then also use the red bed the same day! read more

So far, so great! Initially, I came in to buy 3 spray tans for a friend as a thank you. I asked her about another salon, she said she wouldn't tan anywhere else. I was greeted by Jessica who was very pleasant & patient while I asked questions about any specials on spray tans & mentioned it was for a friend. I asked for a gift card, she noted they were out but if the friend had an account, she could get it set up & my friend could use it any time. I thought that was helpful! While I waited for her to update my friend's account, I keep looking at the price board. It was glaringly less than the current salon I was with.I had more questions & Jessica was again very patient & thorough. I asked if I could walk through the salon to see the bed. She happily obliged. THERE! IT! WAS! The bed the previous salon took away was there! And for more than half the price! She noted that is a popular bed & explained differences in others they offer. I couldn't get passed why I was paying more. She explained different lotions, also costing less & red light & or spray tans could also be an option. Still less than the other salon! Tan Republic is very tidy. The floors are immaculate & while Jessica was helping me, she managed to efficiently multi-task & check customers in all while keeping me engaged. I was impressed. She was familiar with regulars & answered all my questions. Why didn't I come in sooner? Change is scary. But in this case, it's been really good! I cancelled with the other salon & immediately came back to sign up with Jessica. I LOVE the no 24 hour rule. Once a day on my time is much more convenient & the longer hours are more convenient as well. She mentioned cocktail hour (which I happened to be there during) so I bought 3 packs of lotion to include for my friend. I bought 2 bottles of lotion for myself utilizing the deal during sign up & popped in a couple days later to tan where I met Hailey. Hailey is very sweet! I mentioned I was new to TR & she was so kind to the woman in front of me who wanted to sign up. The woman kept apologizing for taking up so much time & I finally told her I just joined here from another salon so take you time! She got the same friendly, professional service I did & Hailey didn't rush her at all. The woman asked which package I signed up for & if I had to sign a contract. After chatting she too signed up & I got to tan in the bed of all beds. Room 2 please! I feel like the bulbs here are much newer than the other salon & all of them were in working order! I really can't say enough positive things about Tan Republic & I'd like to thank whoever does the hiring for putting people in place who are genuine. There was no pressure to buy anything & the atmosphere is welcoming & unpretentious. I feel relaxed, not rushed & I only wish I would have come in sooner. The entire workforce at every capacity is starting their day at or before 6:00am , if tan republic opened at 6am the probably wouldn't make an extra dollar, but for the customers that they already have, this would be greatly appreciated, also it gives young workers the opportunity to get their day started early and leaves time for classes and study afternoon, Tan Republic please take this as constructive criticism and please don't be like every business in Redding and open at 8 or 9 or 10 or even 11 like JCpenny( it's lame) read more

I went in here because the hours at Palm Beach are not convenient. This place is different. Kinda dark but still inviting and clean. Fun atmosphere. The staff was SUPER friendly, outgoing and helpful. No hidden cattiness from this staff. Definitely will go back. Hope they can stick around and spruce up the place after the Covid. I absolutely love this place! This is my quick getaway after a long day of work where I can relax and get a quality tan. Every staff member I've had the pleasure of talking with has been sweet as could be. They're kind and knowledgeable and incredibly helpful! They will absolutely go above and beyond to make you comfortable and some of them even take the time to get personal & familiarize themselves with their clients favorite beds or services. Service like that just can't be beat. On top of that, the beds are always clean and comfortable. They are always adding new merchandise and new service details, you can tell this is a facility that prides itself on continuously striving to be and offer the best. I went with the $100 a month, buy 2 months, get one free. It's unlimited ,and I can use any type of bed that they offer. I'm light skinned and sensitive. I seldom tan, but do it to avoid burning on vacation. I can spend endless days in the sun and not have it ruined by a nasty burn within a few hours. It absolutely works ! The place I used over the last decade shut down : ( I wanted somewhere with good hours, open 7 days a week, decent location to me, lots of beds, and short wait times. I did not want a 'tanning membership' All the staff I've dealt with has been super pleasant and friendly The place is clean and inviting. I was concerned with parking as I usually avoid business's like that, due to the added annoyance. On my first couple of visits I had spots to choose from, on my most recent one they were filled up! I went across the street to the huge parking lot and used the crosswalk to get there in about 3 minutes on foot, so I was very glad there was an alternative to racing around for parking. ( I read that in a response to a reviewer of TR) Pro tip! The only things I wish they had is a leg tanner bed, a Jolly rancher for my visit ( lol) and fun things to buy/browse in the lobby. After seeing my sister's beautiful, natural looking spray tan, I had to try this salon out for myself. I walked in to a cool, clean and inviting atmosphere, with the friendly Grace smiling, waiting to help me. Grace was very knowledgeable and professional. She answered all of my questions and even gave me few tips about my spray that I didn't know I needed. She was very clear about describing (and acting out) the different poses so that I could make sure my spray was nice and even. Grace alone earned the five stars, but the beautiful bronze I was given, kept my review at five stars. I have a very fair complexion and burn easily without SPF. Self tanners always come out orangey or dark, and I've always been hesitant to spray tan because of all the horror stories you hear. I decided to take it slow my first time and went with a level 1 to give myself a bronzed glow. I look like I spent weeks somewhere tropical! The bronze is gorgeous and even. No splotchiness! The spray evened out my skin tone and has blurred many imperfections. I walked out feeling great. Thank you Grace and Tan Republic for wonderful first experience! read more

I absolutely love this place. I've been tanning for 20 years now and it's not easy to find a friendly staff that really know what they are talking about. The beds are high intensity and my husband and I both use the infrared bed for acne and signs of aging. If I have to give a rating it's a 1! The young girl misinformed me on a few key things. Being new at this I asked a lot of questions. Are the bottom of my feet going to need barrier cream? She looks at her feet and she says no . I was told differently. She points to the numbers on floor of booth. Keep your feet on those.My feet were stained for days . Looked like I never washed my feet. Tan lasted 4 good days. Feet had to scrub with toothpaste one day. Tried baking soda and lemon worked. Damn unhappy!! read more

I love this place! Their monthly unlimited is very reasonable! I moved here from Sacramento and my prior tanning salon had this same set up ( which I love ) I was really worried about not finding a new tanning salon as good as my home salon in sac... BUT I DID! and not to mention I enjoy seeing miss Kaitlyn in the mornings! She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Not to mention just an awesome personality all around! Usually in tanning salons you get the pressure to purchase something or upgrade your package etc... I never once got this with tan republic! I love it! And you guys will continue to keep my business! I like to go early morning to abbots parking issues! The later in the day you go the harder I have noticed it is to find parking! But it's so worth it! read more

I am fairly new to Tan Republic and have always had great customer service but nothing like my first Saturday morning. They open at 10 so when I arrived at 10:12 and found only two in line ahead of me I was happy, little did I know that all the beds were full. Ashley was working that Saturday and was amazing. She explained, apologized and smiled while she was checking times for everyone and cleaning beds as fast as she could get you in one! I am so disappointed with the owner of this company. I have been going to Tan Republic since 2006 maybe sooner. I had really good experience until started the Medford location. I had a horrible experience with this young girl that works there. She was so horrible to me that I literally left in tears. I was very upset, tried getting a hold of owner, I called twice no call back. If I had one of my clients call me in tears I would call them back immediately, still no call from her. I was going to continue going there, but at this point I want my money back. I also messaged the owner on facebook, still no call back. DO NOt go to this tanning salon, the owner doesn't deserve your money. read more

I'm not one to ever write a review. I've always tanned at tan republic. I'm from Corvallis. I moved down a few months ago. I came in last night was GREATLY disappointed. I did come before closing(not exactly sure what time you guys close) I had a small blonde girl rudely check me in. Then explain to me she hates when people come in before closing, and then I went to a bed. When I got to the bed it was definitely dirty. Had a full body lotion mark. I didn't say anything because I'm beyond shy. I sat on my phone let the time run through and left, with out tanning. I will be canceling my membership and going to a different company in town. read more

WAY better than palm beach! They are always friendly, signed up on a great deal with just 50$ for everything including unless and 50% of products when signing up. They are always very friendly at check in and never a wait. Also I was worried about the parking but have yet to have an issue. Another bonus is the jolly ranchers instead of mints on the beds..love that! read more

I drove 25 minutes to the salon to find that the High Pressure Bed is broken. The staff offered the standard bed and I told them I joined for the High Pressure Bed because it doesn't burn my skin like the long bulb beds do. The staff said that the owner lives out of town and can't get to the store for a week or more to fix the bed. I told her that I wanted my membership extended to cover the time that it was out of service. I emailed the owner as well. We'll see. read more

Prices are great, there's a security guard outside the building, and the place is clean. However, on 8/23 I got to the establishment 10 minutes before closing so that I could get a spray tan and it was locked. I have called them before to ask what time they take their last spray tan and they said 9:30. I waited outside the door since the "open" sign and all the lights were still on. I could see a girl inside, going from room to room pretending as though she was too busy to see me outside the door, or hear me knocking. Finally at 9:30, she came to the door and let me in, only to tell me that everything was cleaned up and that I couldn't tan. She asked me a few times if I wanted to see for myself that everything was cleaned up.. as if that would justify her actions. It was bizarre, really. If you say you close at 9:30. Close at 9:30. Also, does anyone ever answer the phone there? Lastly, don't ignore a costumer outside your establishment for 10 minutes and then turn them away. As a small business owner in Redding, I don't think I'll be going back there, or referring any of my clients there. read more

There is no wow factor here, but it isn't terrible either. I felt it was very overpriced for the quality of tan I received. Not much color compared to other places. On top of that the receptionist was snotty. I will say it was clean. Overall, it wasnt great so I will not be returning. read more
