One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.

I texted the billing department and they texted me back saying it was a mistake on their end. Now I got a letter saying they don't want me back. I asked if this was a business or government agency. He repeated the same line. Eventually I did get an answer, but I shouldn't have to repeatedly ask this question to hear whether you're a business or a government agency. When someone doesn't want to answer this simple question I mentally put them in a third category: scammer. If this business is legitimate, then please consider this review. I doubt I'm the only one.
