My dad sent the email and Bob replied, saying he would pay when it got closer to the due dates for each. The due date for the federal taxes came and passed and the taxes never got paid. Now my dad owes a penalty and Bob refuses to get back to us. We will never go to him again. We will be filing complaints with the IRS and Better Business Bureau, with his emails as proof. Beware!

I do not have enough happy and awesome words to describe Pratt-Wasko!…read more Carol Wasko walked me through the entire process of incorporating my business when I first started my company back in 2007. She handled all of the paperwork and made it mindlessly easy and pain-free. Since then, she's also been my CPA, handling everything from my business taxes (quarterly and year end), my payroll, paperwork for my 1099 contractors, and she does my personal taxes, too. She keeps track of all of those weird, sneaky deadlines for state and Federal filings and documentation, and when I've accidentally dropped the ball she made it all better. I never took a single business or accounting class in my life; I didn't know any of the most basic accounting lingo. Carol explains it all to me until I understand it, and helped me use Quickbooks better so I don't keep making the same mistakes over and over. I've recommended a bunch of people to Carol, and they've thanked me for sending them to this gem. I would be completely lost without her, and even when I move my business to another state soon, Carol is still gonna be my Accounting Goddess. Note: As the owner/operator of her firm, she can choose her clients, and she chooses not to work with jerks. Can you blame her? So, don't be a pompous ass when you meet her or she'll send you to H&R Block. (Your mom taught you that, right?)

As expected, the home-buying process was a stressful one, but Robyn was not only responsive to my inquiries even when she was very busy with other closings, but she was always understanding, supportive, and reassuring. Robyn is an asset to the firm and stands as an example as to the kind of person I would always want to deal with. Unfortunately, not all people on the front lines of customer/client interactions are like this, which is why anytime a diamond in the rough is encountered, some recognition I feel is in order. Thank you Robyn for weathering the storm and helping me close on my new home. It was a pleasure to work with you.

The Principals are very poor communicators (they rarely answer eMails or take forever before they do) and they rely too much on lower level clerks to prepare Tax Returns and on Tax Prep Software ( I think they use Quick Books) and no time on "Human" review of Tax returns. Nothing wrong with Quick Books but how can they justify hours of Billed time for entering numbers in their computer program? I never get any questions about my returns, only large invoices and lots of money due to the IRS. I never seem to get any refunds, only large amounts of Tax Due. I follow their Tax Advice and still have to pay in large sums every year. Look at other Accounting Firms before choosing this one as a last resort.
