This is the best used record store I can remember. And I have *never* come home with a bunch of…read moreused LP records and found them to be each in a new plastic sheet cover *and* find each disc in a new fancy sleeve, the same exact type that new Record Store Day LPs come in. The prices are about the best I've encountered for used records and show the other stores I've been to to be overpriced. On top of it all, I had a memorable conversation with the owner. I could talk with him a lot. The albums I picked generated two conventions about the bass that was owned by the late bassist of the original Steve Miller Band, and the fates and latest news about members of The Band. This is what a store like this should be like. I like to think I would run a used record store with the ethics that this man does. In the past year I bought a few dozen LPs at stores in Eugene, Portland, and Seattle. While there's a good small store in Eugene, Time Machine Records would be the first place I'd go to buy used records. And beware those big stores in the big cities. They may leave you hearing scratches, pops and skips.
