We both agreed that we felt 10x better than we came in. I am a preschool teacher so I spend a large amount of my day bending and lifting so I have lower back pain and tension in my shoulders. About an hour later, I received another call from the spa saying his appointment time had to occur at a later time than I booked. After multiple changes, inconvenience, and uncertainty, I decided to cancel the entire appointment. I requested a full refund. I spoke with the manager, and the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me that I would receive a full refund. I appreciated the apology, accepted it, and moved on. Imagine my surprise when I received my credit card statement and discovered that I had been charged the full amount for a spa day that never happened. I immediately contacted the spa and spoke with the manager, but the explanations I received for why the refund had not been processed were unconvincing and frustrating. After everything that happened, I should not have had to chase down money that I was already promised would be refunded. I'm now being told that I will actually receive my full refund. That remains to be seen. The entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Customer service isn't just about apologizing, it's about following through! I received confirmations beforehand and the staff even checked to see if I needed anything else. LOVE. I get there and OMG. It's serene, clean, and a good-smelling machine. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the women at the front desk, onward, every single employee who walked by or guided me from point A to point B was sooo kind.
