When we picked up the finished sofa last week, it was more beautiful than I'd imagined. They replaced the three old cushions with one solid cushion at our request. They made sofa arm covers as we asked. Their customer service is also top notch. Although it took a very, very long time due to a delay in getting the fabric (COVID related supply-chain issues), once Lake Grove Upholstery received the white faux leather we ordered, they immediately went to work to turn our sofa around quickly, knowing we'd been without it for more than three months. They have no contracts, no proper process for working with a customer and provide no proper way to document your needs for a project other than back and forth via emails. A huge red flag I am still upset I ignored! They also hold zero accountability for any errors made in the projects they do. As a small business we reached out to them for some sewing needs and not only did they blame us for a major placement error they made of our logo on our products despite providing images of exactly what we wanted, they then stated that as a small business they simply couldn't afford to correct the error for free but was happy to provide a 10% off discount to redo the project for us! They destroyed our hats we provided resulting in a $200 loss plus they have refused to refund us the full sewing costs of $128.00! The error is so obvious not only should it have immediately been caught before the entire batch was even completely at best it should have been stopped and corrected before we were ever contacted for pick up. Clearly they do not care about providing quality products or service. It's such a shame when business won't step up and do right by their customers and account for their mistakes. As a small business owner myself please don't support other small businesses that treat their customers this way, it's not right and allows them to continue to do wrong to others.
