Tons of products!
Maddy B.

This is my first time visiting Lisa's after hearing so much about the great steals you can get , and safe to say I did leave with 4 bags full! We went on a Saturday afternoon so expected the crazy lineup, although it wasn't actually that bad. It took us about 10 minutes to find parking hqhnd the line seemed huge but it went by super quick! Within a 15 min wait we were in and shopping amongst the crowds. Within a massive warehouse , there's rows and rows of various products for everyone. From chocolates, hats, scarves, underwear, branded perfumes and makeup, gift sets and bedsheets as well as various cleaning products and day to day items - there's really something for all. I didn't expect to spend much but it was unavoidable given the absolutely great deals. Nars foundations bottles for $25, bedsheets for $20 and chocolates for $2, it's a steal. A must visit , especially to get those last minute Christmas presents. And while you're there, next year's too!

We decided to go to Lisa's for our annual trip to get stocked up on a few items we had needed, including perfumes, makeup supplies, household items such as bed sheets, garbage bags, etc., and most importantly chocolates! Inside of Lisa's is very well organized and clean. Employees are very knowledgeable of the items they are selling, and are kind to any inquiries you may have. The only downside is that there are LOTS of people there, and parking was a nightmare. The line outside of Lisa's and the line inside to start shopping was long - however, it did move fast. It took us about ~15-20 minutes to get inside. Deals are great and worth going especially since this only comes up twice a year.

Dropped by for annual (semi-annual, who are we kidding). Good to stock up on some chocolates, face masks, hand creams, nail polish, hair dyes, perfume, and makesups. We dropped over 100.00 on pre listed items. Not bad to check, it was the first weekend. We came in right before the rush and longer queue that we saw when we left, so the whole trip including line up was 45min. Come early on the weekends, or daytime hours during the week for reduced time to enter. All normal COVID restrictions are in place (masks, social distancing etc)

Deals, deals, deals!

The prices are very good so you have to expect a crowd. That said, I went on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised at the number of excellent parking spots available and the short line at the entrance. There are several parking attendants to guide drivers through the parking lot. There's something for everyone - it's not just cosmetics and fragrances. Some of the male shoppers appeared happy with the wide selection of items as well. There are deals on chocolates, scarves, socks, dishwashing detergent, shampoos, hairbrushes and more.

Lisa's Cosmetics and Fragrances is really a wholesaler of Elizabeth Arden, Smashbox and Red Earth. It is closed to the public and only open their warehouse twice a year. One end of November just before X'mas and One beginning of May just before Mother's Day. The great thing about Lisa's Cosmetics Sale is that you don't need one of those invitation card or VIP to get in! I would definitely suggest to come on during the warehouse sale on weekdays! The first time I went on a Sunday afternoon, it took me 2 hours to line up in the cold before I can get in! From now on, I only come on weekday early afternoon, even though there was still a queue but the wait was like 30 minute max. If you ask if it worth it! YES YES YES! If you are using Elizabeth Arden skin care products or cosmetic, the price is at least 50% cheaper than at a regular store. I got this foundation for $15 and is selling at the Bay counter for $40! They also have a great selection of Sally Hasen's nail care product with nail polishes/base/top coats going for $1. The brushes set gift box are of good value too! Now I only go stock up my face product twice a year at the warehouse sale. They accepts Visa, Mastercard and Interac.

Parking and getting into the warehouse takes a long time. You really need to be patient. This is my first time at this new location as I've found there's not much to buy unless you want fragrances. There's row upon row of fragrances for sale at really discounted prices, even more discounted if you're willing to get the sample box packaging. For make up the choices aren't very good, with Elizabeth Arden bring the major high end brand. All other make up is really drug store brands. They used to have a lot more higher end skincare lines but sadly, no more. There's a lot of household items, sunglasses, handbags, socks and other random stuff. This is a great place to buy perfumes/colognes and spray deodorants. They were all heavily discounted but I wouldn't come here to purchase make up/skincare.

Wowow, I just stepped into cheapo's paradise and survived! I've been to Japan a fair number of…read moretimes in recent years and I gotta say, you cannot resist Japan's ¥100 stores because their items are just so ingenious, practical, and affordable! From what I can see, Ichiban Living imports a lot of their products (Sería) and sell them here for $2. YES! Everything is just $2! Reasonable with the conversion rate and tax. Just my luck because I was starting a new shopping list for my next Japan trip, but now I can save the plane ticket and stock up here for the time being. Here, you will find high-quality items like stationary, diy craft scrapbooking supplies, kitchen supplies, baking supplies, dinnerware & utensils, household basics, cleaning supplies, organizational boxes, those small empty travel bottles, small bags and pouches, bicycle accessories, basic jewelry, basic electronics.. just everything useful and practical! Funny story: a friend of mine who recently became a new mother said that the only thing missing on her expensive baby stroller is a cup holder (for her beer lol). Well, look what I found... a cup holder attachment for your stroller! LOL. Seriously, whatever knick-knack you can't find at your local Dollarama, whether the size just ain't right or it's not the colour you want, it's worth taking a look here. Really, you will notice a Western-Asian comparison of practicality here, the difference show in the items. It is located in the basement/garage level of Pacific Mall. It looks small, but it's full of compact variety. As I was browsing deeper into the store, to my astoundment I found.. stairs.. which meant MORE! :O It led me to the (even) lower level where more items are stocked (so if you find something on the top level but is not in good shape, try the lower level). With those stairs, I unexpectedly spent a good hour there, which is so typical of me and dollar stores.. You can never get enough of bargain variety stores.

Once you enter the store, be sure to go to the corner and go downstairs, as there are many more knick-knacks for you to peruse. I wanted some thicker padding for my chairs and tables, so it didn't dig into my carpet as much, and I only found it here at a reasonable price! Look at those cute chairs and table socks! I also picked up some padding to stick in the bottom of my laptop to prevent overheating. I found some useful large S hooks that can fit my balcony railings and dividers to hang more plants. They have kitchen tools, bathroom gadgets, storage, pots, hangers, beauty tools, you name it, they have it. Always worthwhile to check out when you're at PMall. Note, I'm not sure if it's due to the fire, but the escalators at Pmall are not functioning, so you have to use the service elevators the past weekend to go up and down the mall.

I know I had seen an Asian health and beauty store at First Markham place. Apparently Beauty Garden has been open at this location for 5 months. They also have another location at Pacific Mall. The store employee was very helpful in directing me to the eyeliner section, and was patient at explaining the difference between various brands of similar looking liquid eyeliner. I was able to find my product of choice which retails there for $20 (tax included). Expensive, I know, but worth it considering I use it everyday and it is one of the few eyeliners that applies smoothly but resists smudging despite my oily skin and wears all day. Beauty Garden sells a variety of products including false eyelashes, various eyebrow cosmetics, hair care and colouring products, feminine hygiene products, as well as Asian brands of incontinence products. The majority of their products are imported from Korea and Japan, including popular facial sheet masks and skin care masks. They currently have a special on those masks: 5 boxes for $100. Beauty Garden has a fairly limited selection. I have seen some similar stores at Pacific Mall that have more variety and that carry more premium products. As for me, I was just happy to find my eyeliner at First Markham Place to save me a trip to Pacific Mall where finding parking is often a much bigger hassle.
