Lisac's service has tanked in Marks absence. Today I took atv in for tires. Had a misunderstanding and ended up with only 2 of the 4 being replaced. My complaint was the five hours it took to do a 20 minute job. The excuse was not having enough help. Some Employees called off. My suggestion: when employees call off those 3--4 male employees pushing paper on the the front line need to pick up the slack, move to the bay area and get their hands dirty. Worst "service" I've ever had. Had my breaks done in July of 2025 and they squeaked and groaned since the day I picked my car back up from them. I was told this was "normal." Brought my car back 4 times to have the issue resolved, paid another $500 in services and the problem never went away. The last time I brought them in they forgot to tighten a bolt and I had no break pedal at all when I tried to stop. Luckily no car in front of me at stoplight or I would've smashed into them. Took my car to another shop in Butte where they told me I needed my breaks completely redone because they had charged me $900 for a "premium" break job and used the cheapest possible parts and they were no good. When Mark ran this shop it was a great place and you got what you paid for. Never again. New owners are crooks and put people in danger by putting them on the road in unsafe conditions. Go to Mick's. At least you leave feeling safe. read more

We got a notice that one of our RV tires was super low on our way to Idaho. We first went to Les Schwab and were told it would be awhile before they could even check it out, so we drove around to the back where they told us to wait and found another RV owner back there who had already been waiting over an hour. No thanks! I figured there had to be another tire shop in Butte and I am so glad that we found Lisac Tire! They were super friendly and had someone check us out right away. Thankfully after they inspected the tire and discovered no damage it was determined that the valve stem was faulty and they replaced it for us for a reasonable price quickly. We're through Idaho now and driving through Washington and the tire has not lost any pressure. So thankful we didn't stay at Les Schwab and kinda feel sorry for the guy who was still likely waiting when we were already heading west in the I-90. read more

Very rude lady answered the phone and bit my head off for daring to ask a question. I was just asking about how busy they were and and was yelled at about how she didn't know because they were putting on snow tires. I was not asking for priority service or anything special just asking a simple question, and would not have had a problem with a polite answer. No we can't do our job or even a we don't feel like it would have worked why be in business if you HATE customers? I really don't know why I called them. the only experience I have had with them is them doing some bad work and actively ripping a lady off. I guess I figured they are in a convenient location and couldn't rip me off just balancing tires, they tricked me though and just yelled instead. read more

Lisac Tire is great. We were travelling from PA to WA and our engine light came on. At first it was solid but then began flashing. I was travelling with my daughter-in-law and she was referred to Lisac Tire. They took the car in almost immediately (on a Saturday morning!) and diagnosed the problem quickly. We needed new spark plugs and wires. We were in and out in about 3 hours and proceeded with our trip. The owner was super friendly and could not have been more helpful. I was towing a trailer when a blowout occurred. I called several stores and found that the trailer tires were an odd size. No one had them other than Lisac's. I was able to leave the trailer with them and returned to find new tires on the trailer at a very reasonable price. I couldn't have been more impressed with this business. read more

This place is absolute garbage. I had my car towed here and after two and half days of not knowing what was wrong, assuring me my engine was good, they tried to install a timing belt and installed it incorrectly. The car sounded way worse than when it arrived, so not only did I sit in Butte for multiple nights waiting for them to figure out the problem, they never did, and broke the car more. I had to have it towed to the dealership where they informed of the shoddy work this place did. On top of the timing belt, they removed my radiator while working on the vehicle and then it too would not hold pressure, adding $300 to my bill for a new radiator. Sincerely the worst experience I have ever had. OH AND! the one thing they did after completely not fixing my car and making it worse was to give me a free tow to the dealership and the tow guy is a real piece of work. He bragged about ramming the tow truck into dumpsters, repeatedly made jokes about ramming cars into traffic while I was in the car, and when we got to the dealership he started to unload my car in the wrong place and when the service worker asked him to not put it there he cussed him out and stormed off. This place is a real piece of work, in the very bad way. I wouldn't send someone that I hated to them cause not even those people deserve this kind of messed up treatment. read more

They are too busy to provide a regular service. First, I went to this store to get a wheel change with scare after a terrible car accident. Instead of sympathy, the guy in the front showed me his cruelty. He is a racist, he called me kid because I am Asian even though I am 31 . Everything he performed for me was he tried to get more money from a "kid". Second, contrast to other stores, their mechanics were very unprofessional. After using the accessories of my spare wheel, they just carelessly put them to wrong positions. They even lost the gap of the valve core of my tire, instead of a sorry, they turned to say it wasn't there when my car came in. Third, hidden fees. The wheel they provided couldn't fit my original nuts, so they just went head to change me extra $10 for another ones without noticing me. Last, their manager (probably the owner) was rude and unreasonable. I asked them to find my lost gap, then I would pay my bill. It's ok for me that they tried even they couldn't find it with a sorry. However, the manager said I was playing game with him. Why? I just experienced an accident, would I have such good mood to play that? He threatened to get the wheel off. He got me because I needed it. Such a terrible place, definitely don't go there. read more

Called in 3 times to price a mount and balance on 35/20s and they gave me a quote of 56 dollars and after they mounted and balance the wheels they changed the price to 100 dollars bc of the wheel size? Should have just went to les swab and saved money! read more

I live 60 miles from Butte 's LiIsac' tires and bought a new set of tires. Within 5 miles I threw the first weight off the tires. Returned to have it fixed. Waited 30 minutes to fix. Within 10 miles from Lisacs another weight from my new tires came off. I returned 4 days later round trip 120 miles to have it fixed again. Originally i was quoted on the phone one price for tires, $160 each tire but was charged a hundred sixty nine. I brought this to Lisacs Yale Ave locations attention they said it was the other store that quoted it. Use caution when dealing with Lisacs Butte stores. I would NOTrecommend them. While traveling through Montana we experienced a blowout near Butte. Called several local tire stores but had no luck finding tires for my 2012 jeep until I called Lisac's tires. They not only had my size at a great price and also recommended a nearby pet friendly hotel. Got us in first thing in the morning and on our way with new tires and an oil change in great time. We are on a long journey home, just passing through Butte. We discovered a problem with one of our tires last night. We arrived at Lisac at 7:45 (before their 8 o'clock opening time). We were warmly greeted and promptly taken care of!! They fixed our tire and we were out the door before 8 o'clock!! The staff is wonderful, friendly and they know what they are doing!! This used to be one of the best places in town but now they are simply too busy to do a good job. I've now had three different experiences where the work performed was low quality. By that I mean the repair they charged me for did not fix the issue. If you want tires or some other simple part replaced they are good but I would not recommend any kind of repair especially if it requires any kind of diagnostic work. read more

Would absolutely give zero stars if that were an option. My husband (a diesel mechanic who hates doing front end work) went in and asked specifically for a few things to be replaced. He gave part numbers for parts needed (used the brands they used), etc. He gave them 10 days to get it done and they did it all at the last minute because they forgot to order parts. They ordered the wrong parts and installed them anyways, thus causing wear on the tires if used over 500 miles without ANOTHER alignment being paid for. So, they tell us come back for another alignment, but don't go over 500 miles. Husband is going down interstate immediately after picking up truck, probably has done 100 miles, doing 80mph and the steering wheel refuses to turn to the right. Front end comes apart on interstate and he narrowly escapes an accident on the interstate. Stranded on the side of the road until a cop comes to his rescue with tools so he can fix it up to get it home. Turns out, since they replaced the wrong part (WITH THE WRONG PART, as well), they left a bolt loose, meaning the steering column became jammed and therefore the wheel could not be turned. Manager's response to all of this: "Things happen. I'm too busy to deal with this." I hope he doesn't say that to the next person he screws over when they end up dead on the side of the road because of his ignorance, lack of work ethic, and lack of mechanical knowledge. This issue could have been avoided had he: A. Listened to my husband's suggestions and comments about what to do and what to replace. B. Used the correct parts (adjustable ball joint vs. nonadjustable ball joint makes a big difference) C. Replaced the correct parts (did other u-joints instead of on axle) and D. Admitted his mistakes and offered to make them right. Note: Probably got some technical info wrong or whatever, my husband is the mechanic, I'm not. But apparently, neither is Lisac's manager. read more

Three strikes your out! Lisacs Wouldn't have gone here but the sube dealer in butte is crap also Had em change oil. when I got back from a long distance trip, 1800 mi. had em put new tires, and check alignment. Been back twice for tire balancing. still not right. Was told to drive it 200 miles then bring it back and they will put their best tire guy on it. Why didn't they do that the first time? When they checked the alignment the guy doing it was filthy, like dirt and grub all over his clothes, and proceeded to jump in the car and pull it out of the garage with no seat protector. my interior is spotless. I don't want that crap all over my interior. Have oil leak on my garage floor. Crawl under car and see oil dripping from oil filter and wet around drain plug. In all the oil changes I have had including doing it myself, have never had a leak. Could have lost my engine on my trip. take it back to lisacs. See a guy outside putting oil in, so go out and start questioning him if they just tightened the filter or put on new, weather the drain plug was leaking and he proceeded to get shifty about it and walked away telling me to go talk to somebody else. Told the manager and his response was:, You talked to the wrong guy. Never Again Lisacs. Haven't found any businesses in Butte that are reliable.. oh ya, after I got home from the original oil change , checked oil level and was overfull by 3/4 quarts. read more
