"Julien and his team at LIS do excellent work. My extended family has been working with Julien for over a decade. He's a natural born problem solver and very particular about detail and timeliness. He also has a great sense of style and interior design. His administrator Michelle is super easy to work with on schedules and estimates (I hate when contractors don't have office help and just keep handing you papers with hand written estimates--with LIS everything is super clear and organized). We have had him work on everything from total house remodel to building a garden deck to installing new A/C to plumbing and electricity. Highly recommend!" read more

I was in need of a contractor to complete a recent bathroom remodel and start another one. I asked a friend of mine Chris (owner of So White Carpet Cleaning), he immediately recommended Julien. I contacted Julien and he came out to give me a cost estimate. The estimate was fair and of comparable valuable. Julien and his crew were able to start the job right away. They arrived on time and finished at a decent hour. They always cleaned the work area before leaving for the night. Julien was always flexible, considerate and accommodating of my changing wants and needs. His crew were meticulous and paid attention to detail with everything. The job was completed on time and within the time frame quoted. I am very pleased with the completed work and have recommended Julien and his crew to my friends. read more

We had a problem with a section of our bedroom ceiling. Julien came out to our home, went into the attic, and figured what the problem was. He sent us a quote and we decided to use his company. Julien and his crew were fantastic! The job was done beautifully and efficiently, and the crew made sure everything was straightened up and cleaned at the end of the day. We will definitely call LIS again. read more

Needed a handyman nine years ago for a leaking upstairs shower that no one could fix....but Julien figured out the problem and resolved it! Since then he has been our "Go To" guy for every home repair! We recently completed a 4-month downstairs remodel with Julien and his crew that went very smoothly we were extremely satisfied. He is honest, straightforward, professional and always available to discuss any aspect of the job. I would not consider using anyone else. read more

Julien came to the rescue a year ago after the first handyman we hired screwed up our bathroom remodel. We wish we had found him earlier! We found him on Angie's List where he also scores very high. Then by coincidence, we later came to find out that he has a lot of clients in our neighborhood in Calabasas. He and his team fixed and finished the whole bathroom project, helped to repair the damages the previous guy had left behind for us, and completed some extra projects for us to boot. Since then, he's been our go to on several projects- from window repair, to deck/stair rebuild, to painting, you name it. I love Julien and his team for a number of reasons- the calendaring and office staff are super professional, organized, and on point. He always shows up on time and is prepared with any pre-materials needed. There is never any unexplained revisions to the work needing to be done, or to the pricing, unless it is reasonable. His pricing is very competitive, and his quoting on the time the projects will be completed are also always on point. The completed work is always impeccable. He's also very smart in coming up with ideas to fix unique projects that may come up. I love dealing with him. Julien is the best and we highly highly recommend he and his company. We are thankful for him! read more

Julien is, hands down, the best contractor we have ever worked with. So far, he has remodeled two bathrooms, our garage, our master bedroom, half of our kitchen, built shelves, installed doors, installed crown moulding, installed windows...even built us a shed! He is friendly, smart, and made it easy to live in our house while construction went on around us. He provided before and after pictures, 3D images...he's just fantastic. His guys are sweet, and very hard workers, too. Highly recommend. read more

Needed a handyman for a project at work. Very nice and professional staff. Work was great and the price was AMAZING!! Repeat customer for sure. read more

Professional, skilled, and punctual. Licensed and insured, with a staff to manage his communications. And, he does great work! We hired him to cut our granite for new electrical outlets, and fix some collapsing cabinets in the kitchen of a house we bought, among other things. Can't go wrong. read more

Requested a quote to be told that they are all booked, with no timeframe given on when they have availability for my job. Lots of 5 star reviews here, but their customer service is lacking. read more

We have hired LIS Remodeling for a few small jobs in the past and look forward to using them again in the future. They have been very reliable and always do good work and promote customer satisfaction. We would recommend them to anyone who needs a good handyman or remodeling company. TH Malouf read more

Julien and his team did great work on our sconce installation- as well as the associated patch and painting too. Not only were they prompt, attentive and clean (as they worked); but they took the time to match our paint colors as well. Further, they even painted additional walls (free of charge) to ensure that the paint finishes across our large great room perfectly matched. Our project was a success and we will be using Julien again. read more

Julien and his crew replaced our French doors. Though I am always skittish and reluctant to have any workers in our home, Julien has changed my attitude and mind about that! He is thoughtful, considerate, precise, clean and treats your home as if it were his own. He will always be my go-to person for whatever job, large or small, I will be doing in the future. Julien was referred to us by a neighbor who raved about his work, and they were right. He's very knowledgeable, precise, and is great at figuring out ways to meet our objectives while having the end result look perfect. His prices are fair. If you think he's pricey, think again - because you get what you pay for. I'd rather have Julien do the work once - correctly - than pay others who might do a sub-par job, then charge you every time they come back. He and his assistant are extremely responsive and while he gets booked up - because he's good! - is worth the wait. We will definitely work with Julien again! read more

Julien did a complete kitchen remodel for us. We love it. We brought out 7 contractors. Only one was less expensive. But Julien's ideas were far, far better than the other 6 combined. I thought we had it all figured out but Julien came up with better ideas and solutions. It was also a great choice because he was so conscientious. Worked hard. Did a great job accommodating our circumstances. And it just looks beautiful. He was always pleasant and his workers were great too. Ironically, I did not have a good experience with his father-in-law but they are not related by blood. read more

This company is a must have in your contact list for any household . Professional, fairly priced, with top notch quality of work. Julian and his team installed 5 storage doors and frames at our 5 unit condo complex. The HOA couldn't be happier with the work and their new storage areas! read more

Julien is a meticulous craftsman who does amazing work. He remodeled our outdated master bathroom into a dream spa retreat! At the same time he did a complete reno of our kitchen, talk about kitchen for someone who loves to cook, it is perfect. I love it! Julien did such a great job that we decided to get second bathroom done too. Julien is honest, competent and gives you a quote and sticks to it. He is creative and has an eye for detail. He is a perfectionist, he is unhappy if he sees small imperfections and makes sure to fix, he noticed things before I could even mention any small concerns I might have had. Work site is cleaned at the end of every day, he is on time and keeps on schedule. My husband and I wholehearted recommend Julien for your renovation project. Thank you Julien, Jill and Craig Laker read more

I just moved into a home that required several improvements. Too small for a contractor but too big for my patience level and skills. Julien and team was quick to respond and had very fair prices. The team did some demo work and installed new closet sliding doors. A few things that standout and why I recommend Julien: next day line item quotes, leaves a clean work area, friendly scheduling, attentive team focused on details, and high quality work. My next Julien project is closet organizer installs. I've put Julien on my speed dial! read more

Julien the Handyman is so much more than a handyman! His knowledge extends beyond the average "Mr. fix it" and I have seen him go above and beyond in every instance that I have worked with him over the past two years: both in my home and with a former business I was involved in. He is able to quickly assess situations, bang out a proposal and budget, be true to his word and complete small tasks to large-scale projects with precision, accuracy and confidence. If something is out of the scope of his practice, he is honest and is always willing to give suggestions and has referred me to other plumbers, roofers and contractors that he has worked with. I trust him implicitly, I am beyond impressed with his work ethic and he always treats his place of work and those that he works with with the ultimate respect. Therefore, I give him five stars and highly recommend him for any job that you may require assistance for! read more

Julien the Handyman has done several projects for me, including building a wall & some built-ins, ceiling, painting, flooring, electrical, interior and exterior etc. He is not only professional, but he is also creative, helping me figure out cost-effective solutions for my place. He is punctual, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. His work is excellent, price is super reasonable, but the most important thing is he is a good person. read more

We recently called Julien the Handyman for our first repair job -- to replace the side door on our garage, and to replace a fence post. Both items were damaged by termites. Julien responded promptly and advised us on options for the work. We selected a Fiberglass replacement door. Julien ordered the door for us. When everything was ready Julien set up the work crew and they got the job done. A day or 2 later, Julien came by to check the work. All was well and we are very happy with the quality of their work. We would definitely recommend Julien the Handyman! read more

Julien is the best and I highly recommend he and his company. Thank you Julien. read more

Julien was super nice and reliable. In fact we will be calling him again to do some extra touch ups.

Julien redid our bathroom,(which we comment to ourselves about frequently), he tiled our exterior front steps and did a substantial amount of drywall work for us. When things were at times not what we expected (which is just part of explaining your vision to someone else) he was quick to fix things and make it right. He is fair and honest. He even refunded us money at one point when we couldn't work something out. I recommend him. read more

I have tried several handymen and Julien is the best by far! He handles all sorts of small and large jobs for my multi-family apartment complexes. He gives an honest quote and I know when his team takes on a job for me, everything is taken care of without any worries. He goes above and beyond. His oversight and attention to details is always A+. read more

I'm not a DIY kind of person, and since my divorce, I've tried several handymen. Julien was by far the best! He charged a fair price, was professional, thorough, clean, and stayed until the job was done to BOTH of our satisfaction. That may sound like a given, but a "simple" fan installation turned into a 4+ hour job! The house hadn't been wired correctly (no boxes in the attic), so he installed them and then the fans. Then, as he was showing me the end result, one of the fans broke! He waited while I ran to Home Depot (before they closed at 9 pm on a Friday night) to get a replacement and then installed the new one, making sure it worked perfectly before leaving. He didn't finish until 10 pm! And he was leaving for Paris the next morning! He was fantastic! I'll definitely use him for any future home repairs or installations. read more

We have had 3 projects done on our house with Julien and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is professional, priced fairly and finishes jobs when promised. He and his staff do immaculate work and when the day is done, even if they are returning the next day, leave the space just as clean, if not cleaner than they found it. read more

Julien has helped us on a number of odd jobs around the house. He is always polite, on time, and fair with the jobs and he always sees them to completion. He's helped us with everything from installing a new faucet to hanging photos. Julien is very reliable and he even helped us out in a pinch right before the holidays. His office manager is very communicative and we have enjoyed working with them. Absolutely recommend! read more

After enduring the pain of a large scale home renovation project that felt unending, I feel I need to let people know which were the great contractors/handymen and which were the nightmares I worked with. Well, Julien was one of the great ones. I found him on yelp and was initially feeling nervous about what I was going to get, after many slick talking/ little action folks who had walked through my door. Julien was responsible, always on time, and true to his word. He is very hardworking--doesn't clock out at 5 or take long lunch breaks, or chat on the job with other people working on the house. Julien worked on 4 of my bathrooms--completely redid them to my specifications--converted an old, ugly bathtub into a shiny, new beautifully tiled shower, did his own demo on all four in one day, installed new flooring, new vanities, new lighting, and so much more. The bathrooms look beautiful. He is meticulous and a perfectionist. Out of all the contractors I worked with, he was the one I didn't feel I needed to micromanage, because he always got it right. He also communicated with me before changing something big or when there was a surprise problem. Julien also worked on several handyman jobs around my house before starting the bathroom renos. His prices were reasonable and his work was clean and sharp. He's also a good person, honest and nice. I will certainly work with him again. read more

We had many different types of work performed. Julien The Handyman can do ANYTHING/EVERYTHING. He and his crew were very professional, clean, respectful, punctual and careful. His prices are very reasonable. We have hired him multiple times and are ready to hire him back again. We have given out his contact info to numerous family/friends. We highly recommend him for any job. When he was done, we hated for him to leave. He went above the call of duty and exceeded are expectations. When we were unsure of how do finish something, he had some brilliant suggestions that we went with and glad we did. People come to our house and say "WOW who did this? and who did that? Give me his number please!!!!!!" No disappointments ! Michael R in Simi Valley, CA read more

Creative, reliable, skillful, pleasant... Pick an adjective you'd want your handyman to have and Julien is it. Highly recommended.

Julien has done several projects for us. We first met him a year ago when we bought a dining room light fixture that needed to be hung. We called him and he came over the same day. It was a challenge because it was made in another country with different electrical parts, but he was persistent and got the job done. So we kept him in mind for future projects. Fast forward to a month ago. We were ready to do a "facelift" on our house, which included painting several rooms, applying brick veneers to two walls, new closet shelving in a bedroom closet, new pendant light fixtures and applying a tin-tile backsplash on a wall in our kitchen. Well, not only did he do a great job on the work he did himself, but the sub-contractors that he had to do some of the work were excellent! They all showed up on time, were neat and cleaned up nicely and finished all the work in a timely manner. Julien keeps up with the latest trends and is a conscientious worker and manager. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him for any remodeling projects. read more
