The most recent visit was for a facial with Emily, who's an absolute expert in her craft. Shoutout Capricorns! During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.

The masseuses were very skilled, the entire place was extremely clean, and we felt wonderful afterwards. I felt comfortable the entire experience. The spa has a parking lot in the back. We had a 60 minute couples massage and there were times it felt intense, but overall it was what my body needed. The masseuse felt the areas that I needed extra work on, and he paid closer attention to those areas. They used hot stones and my body felt extremely relaxed afterwards. Definitely recommend. There may be a language barrier, but Google Translate is helpful. When we go back I feel more confident knowing to ask for more specifics.

Truly, one of the best massages I've had in a long time. I was in Albuquerque for a client and just had a day. My girlfriend booked a couples massage for my birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moreuncomfortable from start to finish. We were placed in separate rooms, which defeated the purpose of a couples massage, and without any explanation. On top of that, we were each assigned opposite-gender therapists, which felt inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. During my massage, the therapist kept walking in and out of the room, leaving the door open several times, which made me feel exposed and uneasy. At the end, she made an inappropriate comment about me being "a very strong man" in front of my girlfriend and her husband, which was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after my girlfriend left a tip, they told her she should leave a larger one. It was very uncomfortable and disrespectful. We stood there awkwardly while they spoke in another language and ignored us until we asked if we could leave. My girlfriend worked hard to surprise me for my birthday, and it's disappointing that this special occasion turned into such an unpleasant experience. We will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who values professionalism or respect.

The appearance outside may not say much, but inside, one definitely felt safe and relaxed. I got a firm 90 min massage with deep tissue option with Kristy and I really.enjoyed it. Usually when I go to some places on affordable side, the environment made it hard for me to relax..but at this place..and in Kristy's good caring hands, I definitely and unexpectedly even fell asleep. I also love that you can customize your massage with a different scented (or unscented if you choose to) oil as well. For me, I picked therapist's choice because I was so indecisive..so I let Kristy picked for me. She combined rose and peppermint scent and I thought it was wonderful. If you want, you can also customize with some other add ones like hot stone, guasha, brushing, etc too. I like this spot and plan to be back again soon!

We came in on our year anniversary a little apprehensive as neither one of us has had a couples massage before. They were sooooo kind and accommodating. We felt right at home. My boyfriend had Jass perform his massage and she suggested a few things that he agreed with. It was so relaxing for him that he fell asleep twice. I would definitely recommend! They are tremendously professional, offer excellent suggestions, it's affordable compared to some spa's out there, and it's a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon. Cheers!

I've been to many spas in NYC, LA, Boston, etc. For me personally, nothing compares to Betty's! The ambiance is welcoming and calming, the prices are reasonable and the team is experienced. I typically get facials and ALWAYS leave feeling over the moon, relaxed and happy. The massage/facial beds are heated and all of products are organic and smell AMAZING so it's kind of like 2 in 1 aromatherapy as you're getting your facial :) They clearly state that the sauna/hot tub is additional on their website, so for the folks griping about that, it's probably best to simply read the info while booking rather than rip them for something that is stated upfront! I never expect to sauna or steam going into a facial service anyways, that just seems like an added perk/not to be expected. I digress.... if you want a perfect self-care day, book at Betty's!

This is standard practice at any SPA, no matter what part of the world you are in. Doesn't matter if you are at the Ritz, Woldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, or a resort in Europe, Asia, or South America. When you go to a spa, you automatically have access to all the spa's amenities. This includes tubs and saunas. There are no spa amenities here. If you are paying premium prices, you would expect a premium experience. Keep looking because you are not going to get that at Betty's Day Spa. To make matters worse, their customer service is horrendous! One would think that, if there is a medical emergency, they would allow you to at the very least reschedule your services. They do not.
