This place is sooo good! I've eaten Here 2 times, and gotten takeout once. All three times were amazing! True Cajun food!

It's in a pretty rural area, but worth the drive. Everything our group ordered tasted excellent!

I got word they were gonna be parked at a place not too far from where I live, so I made the drive over to check it out. Get Loaded offers loaded...everything! Pretty much any medium that's ripe for toppings, they do it. Loaded fries, loaded potatoes, loaded nachos, and loaded fry breads are their main offerings. Loading combos vary but are available across all bases; I recall BBQ, buffalo chicken, queso, bacon, etc. All of it sounded good. They were fairly busy but doing a great job politely encouraging customers to practice social distancing. I was impressed at how carefully the gentleman who took my order handled the payments; he would simply offer the device through which you'd swipe your card out of the window. He never touched the card at all! All the staff was wearing gloves, too. I tried the queso fries: waffle fries loaded up with queso, ranch, bacon, and jalapeños. Overall, I liked them a good deal. The queso was white queso (my favorite - no fake nacho cheese for me, please!) and the jalapeños gave it a pretty strong kick. I could've done with the bacon being a liiiittle bit crispier and in slightly larger chunks. The majority of my fries were cooked to a perfect crispness, but a couple of the bigger ones had a slightly rubbery quality. One warning: this is food to be eaten as soon as it's delivered to your hands. I'm glad I sat in the car and ate mine, because it would've gotten soggy on the way home. Still, it was really tasty fresh. I got my boyfriend some buffalo chicken nachos that I brought back to the house. These held up surprisingly well, better even than my fries held up in the 10-15 minutes it took me to eat them. The buffalo chicken was chunked up in bite size pieces and was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I'd definitely visit this food truck again. I hope they continue to see success - I'd love to try out some fry bread one day. Never had that before. :) Remember, since this is a food truck, check their social media to see where they are before you head to the address listed on Yelp!

Second, the portion was great for the price. Third, the flavor of the sauce & seasoning was fantastic. The staff was so nice. I think the only thing I would change would be to make it pulled chicken. Other options included brisket & pork. BTW, I reheated my leftovers in the airfryer & they were just as good the second time around. Support local!!

I also ordered the bacon, egg and cheese waffle too but couldn't eat it all. Both were super yummy but if you HAVE to choose just one definitely go with chicken and waffles! Our tour guide recommended it and there was a loooooong line at the BBQ place with the "grilled cheese on crack", so I checked it out and I'm glad I did! The gal working the register was super nice and helpful, answering my questions about the menu with patience. I tried the chicken and waffles which are served in a cup with a fork, already cut up, with syrup. I got the combo with a water and chips, hoping to take the chips with me for the bus ride back to Nashville, but unfortunately they were served in a paper dish, not a bag. There was a picnic table outside and a cornhole game. It was cool that its served in a cup because you can walk around with it. I'm really glad I chose to eat at Whiskey Waffle because the food was good, service was good, didn't take long at all, and I was able to maximize my shopping time.

I took a look at the menu and it didn't really resemble what most food trucks offer. The offerings indicated someone who cooked using a bit of flair and looked like they knew how to enhance a dish with sauces. I selected the Rosemary Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas. Now these are not like any quesadilla I've had as a "appetizer" at many restaurants, this was a creative melding of intricate flavors into a quasi-soft shell taco/quesadilla. The grilled chicken had great flavor and the bacon and ranch really complemented the quesadilla. The tortilla was perfect, slightly crisp, and held the entire quesadilla together and didn't fall apart after the first bite. To top it all off...I got to meet the owners/operators Frankie and Tony Wong. This couple works hard, serve up great food, and are really fun to talk to. Highly recommend you like and subscribe to their FB Page. Their menu is a dry erase board and changes daily, I can't wait to see what special item they will create next. https://www.facebook.com/Myrootsfoodtruck

I'd definitely recommend. CRINKLE CUT FRIES were over cooked. I'm sad to say I didn't even finish them, which is rare for me since this cut of fries is my absolute favorite! Just too crunch and the flavor was heavy on the oil, rather than potato. Total cost was $9 before tip, which made it one of the least expensive items on the truck. Customer service was professional. Food was made quickly and from order. Pretty good, IMO.
