Known for it's intriguing combinations, This store offers amazing Liqueurs, spirits, fortified wines, oils and vinegars for you to fill up and take home in whatever size bottle you need. I remember being stumped for good gift idea's for my manly man friend, but after talking to the friendly sales staff I got to take home white port in a bottle that had a GLASS SHIP IN IT. (Needless to say it's so boss it still resides on the kitchen counter.) With liqueurs ranging from mango melon, pineapple, rose, limoncello, cognac and walnut, AND melon (as well as a yummy chocolate vodka.) This place definitely has you spoiled for choice. They have a chiller for wine's in the front past the checkouts as well. They are enviromental friendly, don't give you plastic bags, but have old boxes you can carry your guilty pleasure out in, i'm a big fan of this. They aren't big on service because the store is huge and there aren't that many staff around... but they are where you should go to get your liquor.

When you walk in it is a bit overwhelming. So much wine, beer and spirits, its a dream place of alcos. I was after a cheap red wine. There is one a like in particular labelled Two Fat Ladies, that I wanted. I walked up and down the aisles searching for it. These aisles were long, so I gave up the search and decided to just asked a staff member where I could find that. He told me that don't stock that brand. I was in shock. I thought this liquor store, being so big and all, would stock it. Unfortunately for me, they don't. Of course, I could try other alternatives, but it wouldn't be the same. Boo. So although this is a liquor superstore, they don't stock everything. But there is a lot of everything else that I'm sure would work out just fine.

Sometimes, I feel as though I treat this Foodworks as a use-and-abuse situation, because I hardly ever come here to browse and pick up groceries which weren't on my list like I do when in Woolies. Foodworks grocery selection may be limited but if you pay close enough attention you would find that their prices for many popular items are much cheaper than Coles and Woolworths. Make sure you check dates for the items in the fridge, as I've found that most times the products are close to expiry. But that doesn't stop me from buying, because shopping here would mean I needed those immediately. I had the poached eggs, halloumi cheese, & bacon on bruschetta which I enjoyed I liked the saltiness that the cheese added to the bacon and eggs and the bread had a crispy exterior but nice and soft once you started chewing. The cappuccino had a nice robust roasted flavor but not too sharp on the palette. Again place is very hustle and bustle because there's a lot of people stopping by to grab something on their way to work but things and service moves quickly too and they maintain the dining area neat and clean through it all.
