Went into the Mount Ommaney store today after many very long hard and hot days of work moving…read moreequipment and machinery over Christmas. We hoped to get everything done early today so we could finally relax for New Year's Eve. My daughter was purchasing some cruisers for her and her friends and purchased four packs. As she was paying I picked two packs up to help her, and began to walk out of the shop as she was putting her purse away and collecting the other two. As I walked away, the attendant very loudly yelled 'you're welcome' after me, as I had not said thank you. I was pretty taken aback, as the sale was not to me, but my daughter and I was only helping her. I realised that he thought I was rude for walking away without saying thank you, and I said 'thank you' to him. He shook his head and swore under his breath at me, and turned away. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but he didn't even give my daughter a chance to complete the sale properly before he rudely yelled after me, and no-one needs to be sworn at for any reason by a shop attendant - or anyone for that matter. I wont be going into this shop again.
