They also sell brewing supplies for the do it at home beer maker. Convenience Store: Lotto and coffee and all the quick grab staples for those on the go. Deli: Not a bad deli to grab a turkey club. They have daily specials which is cool. Not a bad place to grab a good fresh lunch. The parking lot is a bit trickie so easy does it. In the same building as Cafe 97, the breakfast place.

But no, I went to buy a quart of milk and instead found myself in a convenience store with a beer selection that would have made my dad proud. I found Allagash Tripel and Dogfish 120. I found jugs of Ipswich Ale, Woodchuck Ciders by the bottle, and a good selection of seasonal pumpkin beers. Relegated to the "case of shame" was a small selection of things like Budweiser, Natty Light, and Miller. The emphasis on the beer selection here is "things you'll actually really WANT to drink while still sober." I'm beyond thrilled to find such a ready selection of beer and supplies for our home brewing, too. I'll have to give their kitchen prepared meals a shot next time to see if they can eek out that fifth star.

For a healthy balance we got the Harvest Salad with chicken on which we were easily able to sub romaine for the spinach using the online ordering system. Parking in the municipal lot behind is super convenient. I'm not sure if there are some free spaces designated for pick-up, so being the law abiding citizen I paid the minimal parking fee before going in. There's a back door right onto the lot so it's very easy. The shop itself is small but clean and welcoming. i was greeted right as I walked in and my food was ready on time. This is currently in my top two pizza places in a tight race for first.

Where Towne Market stands out is in its selection of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Apparently, back in the day when B&J was starting, Towne Market was one of the very first places they delivered to. In the past, they've also been the first to get new flavors (or so it seemed to me) but I'm not sure if this is still the case. Wings: Smoked but didn't have that smoked wing taste or feel. They were definitely tender and moist, but definitely not crisp. My sauce (sesame honey sriracha) was a nice blend with a little heat and sweet, with neither dominating. Sesame was AWOL. Not bad, but the lack of crispness lost a chance to impress more. Smoked Brisket and Chorizo Chili: A small-ish serving somewhat concealed by the thick, droopy layer of cheese stretching across the top of the crock. Really nice flavor from the chorizo and peppers, but I didn't notice a smoke presence. Despite the crumbled bits of meat, more of a heated salsa feel than chili. Again, not bad, but nothing I'd get again. The Holburger: Now THIS one came through in flying colors. So rare in these days of smashburger dominance to see a thick burger (they do smashburgers too), and this was exceptionally juicy and brought good flavor from the brisket/shortrib blend and the grill itself. Bacon was only slightly crisp, but that's how I want it on a burger. Potent blue cheese. All of the flavors blended really nicely. Bun a white-bready version of brioche. A gigantic pile of fries (I think hand-cut) had the right crispness and droopiness. And to make it even better, on weekdays from noon to 4pm this burger-and-fries plate, with the addition of a draft beer is a dollar LESS. Good burger, good deal. Mixed bag so far, but that burger will bring me back to try more. Though they seem to be a little understaffed, service was friendly on two separate visits.

I tried the seared tuna because it was prepared differently than I've had before, it was definitely interesting, just not a wow moment. Same with the parmesan fries. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it also wasn't amazing. I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't be opposed to going again in the far future.

They had limited parking but street parking was easily available. We made a reservation through Open Table. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and offered the choice of a high or low top table. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but filled up quickly in both the bar and dining area. We weren't initially offered the $29 menu but I requested it and it was brought over right away. Since the menu included a glass of wine, we started with that. We quickly were provided their delicious bread. I wanted to have more but then I remembered that there were 3 courses coming so I decided not to. For my first course, I went with the mussels and sausage. They were accompanied by grilled bread that my partner ended up having with the sauce. I found this dish to be delicious and garlicky. It was to my liking. For my main course, I went with the baked cod. The fish was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were over-whipped but the seasoning was good. I would order this dish again if the potatoes weren't so runny. My dessert were the chocolate chip cannolis and they were the perfect ending for this delicious meal. Our server was Viana and she was super nice. She checked on us a few times and gave us time to enjoy our meal. They have some igloos outside but I didn't see anyone using them this time. Looked like it could be a pleasant experience. Place has an upscale vibe and yet there was a mix of people dressed to the nines and some more casual. Everybody seemed to be having a good time enjoying their meal. Bathroom were very clean and organized. Value for money this place 5 stars for me. If I was paying full price for it, I would give it a 4. It is a place that I would visit again.
