It's now more of a liquor focused outlet giving little attention to fine and/or interesting wines. Sadly, for the past 2+ years this place is no longer the great store it once was. Looking at the reviews from the past two years, you can see I'm not the only one who feels things have gone downhill. Such a shame to have the biggest liquor store in beautiful Andover become such a dud.

The event coordinator Briana was such a joy to work with and a trusted partner in making our event come to life! We really appreciated her coordinating with my family in the days leading up to the event to organize the decor, and being so on top of everything. When we first toured the venue in the fall we immediately loved the barn, but what really sealed the deal for us was Briana's calm, collected demeanor, professional communication, and down-to-earth advice that demonstrated her deep understanding of what works in the space and what doesn't--that made us trust her right away. She made the space look so so beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better evening surrounded by all our favorite people

I'd been given the name of this retailer as a source for a "can't miss" wine selection. Well, it seems I arrived at a time when the proprietor was tasting with one of her sales reps, and I wasn't afforded the time of day. Was given a dismissive look and a significant sigh when I asked for assistance. Won't be shopping or recommending this shop anytime soon having been in the hospitality industry since 1999. Left such a poor taste in my mouth, and would prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

Great Store, it was a great experience! Returning the Empty Bottles was totally 'hassle free". At 1 Stop Liquors Methuen I spoke with the cashier and chatted a bit. I was amazed how big this store is and their great selection of Wine- Beer and Liquor i observed. I inquired and asked who the owner was? She pointed and said he's here in the store and pointed to him "Joe". I walked over and shook hands and aske him how he started the business. What a great story 28 Years ago and now - 6 locations! Joe started by buying a small package store from a friend's family who wanted out of the business. He was a young guy going to college -had a wife and hardly any money to his name and owing a mortgage for his home and working another job and maintaining the small Package Store on Bridge St. in Lowell, Ma. He knew nothing about this business. He made it work and grew the business. Its a great American Dream come true. I have so much respect for people like this. HE WORKED FOR IT AND EARNED IT !! Not riding on the backs of others and surprising he seemed like a pretty unpretentious person. Their Wine prices are incredibly competitive; many Wines are LESS expensive than neighboring NH stores! No need for me to go North, its right here at 1 Stop Liquors in Methuen and plenty of parking! 1 Stop Liquors carries just about everything you could imagine, Wine - Beer- Liquor and even Mass Lottery! Talking with Joe the owner was a great experience! Their pricing and service was really great too. I felt I owed them a good word and deservingly so I wanted to endorse it. From today on - 1 Stop Liquors has earned my business and I will tell many more.... even though I am not a big drinker, Cheers! Please note, NO ONE EVER asked me or enticed me to write this review. The review was written purely based on the service I received that day and the variety of product I observed and how easy it was to speak with the owner.

I mention that I heard that stores can special order beers, her response ...Yes, we sure can (I was a bit baffled on why she did not offer that up and that I had to ask). She was provided all the needed info (+ my cell number) and she said that she would call me and let me know if they can get it (it was said in such an uncaring tone that I got the hint, I would never get the call). Two weeks later after no call back to me, I went to a store in nashua, they were awesome and now have my business. It's a 20 min drive to nashua (vs 4 mins to the pepperell store), but I feel like a valued customer at the nashua store.

A great place esp. if you are looking for an overnight stay spot which is dog friendly…read more Host Elbridge and Ally is super responsive and fast. They do have a great place going with the winery and it's tasting right at the spot. It seemed a popular spot in the weekend. Although the wine tasting is pricey and made in stainless steel, personally not fan of, the sparkling rose shone bright. Very crisp, right amount of mellow tart and no metallic finish : the dryness was perfect. I usually hate rose as most are sweet or on the sweeter side but not this one. The place is clean and the hospitality is phenomenal. Why 4 and not 5? The utensils need some love. They are barely in any normal condition to be used, unless you are a pro at cooking. It took me 2-3 curing and seasonings to make sure it's usable. And yes, at $45 for the bottle of sparkling rose I felt it's pricey. It maybe small batch hence pricier but yeah, I'll rather have barolos or barbarescos at that price than rose. Overall a great historic place from 1680s.
