Poor selection (there are a lot of wine bottles, poor variety). As an example, search for Italian white wine. By Utah standards Italy carries about 15 Pinot Grigio vintners and not much else for white wine. And there are lots of Italian White wines! Lower your expectations when you go here and you won't be disappointed.

I haven't tried it yet, but one of his suggestions was a mixture of a peanut butter and a chocolate liquor. I can't wait to give it a try! Bill is 100% the reason we will come back to this liquor store. He's such a nice guy and extremely helpful! It just seems like he really cares, and that's rare nowadays.

We were blown away with all of the different options and with how well the building is kept. Everything is so neatly displayed. We spoke with one employee on our way out (the cashier) and he was great! He gave us some good recommendations based on what we had purchased. We will definitely stop by again when we're in the area. It's the best liquor store we've been to so far!

I have avoided this location because the exterior appearance looks a bit run down. I had expected a typical gas station convenience store feel but the store was well organized and fairly clean. It had a similar feel to the newer Maverick locations. Located on Main Street in Layton, it is easiest to access as you are heading south, though there is a turn lane if trying to access from the North. The parking lot is small but when I went, there wasn't any issues finding a spot to park. The employee helping me was extremely friendly and welcoming. I may need to start coming to this location more often.

This week I filled my cup about one-third full of ice, drove home (only five minutes with my car's A/C on), and by the time I got there the ice had already melted and my Dr Pepper was still room temperature. That shouldn't happen. This used to be my favorite place, and I've been a loyal customer for years. I'm disappointed because this has become a recurring problem. A neat lil distillery nestled in the mountains in Eden, Utah…read more We bought two tickets for a distillery tour (I think they were ~$20 each) & the experience was well worth the money. Chris & Ashley, co-owners of New World Distillery, have perfected the ideal distillery tour. It was a seamless blend of technical distilling knowledge, equipment explanations, liquor industry lore, & of course, taste-testing. We tasted 7 of their products, straight & neat, & learned a bit about each one. The vodka was amazingly drinkable. Distilled from agave, it has a pleasant sweetness to it that differentiates it from other vodkas. It also, unsurprisingly, smells a bit like tequila. At the tail end of the tour, Chris made the smooooothest transition to a lil speech on supporting small distilling. The war against big booze rages on, but Chris definitely gained some small booze warriors that day. It's clear they love motorcycles at this distillery. Half of the spots out front are reserved for bikes. I hope to come back on my hog someday. Thank you Chris & Ashley for inviting us into your world for a little bit. We could only take one bottle with us (we got on a plane to Rhode Island the next day) but we'll definitely be back for more someday.

He told me about the company, and I HAD to get a few bottles. I made the drive to go to the distillery, rather than just getting everything at the State Liquor Store. I ended up getting the Peanut Butter, Peach, and Huckleberry whiskeys, as well as their award-winning gin. Not only can you buy the bottles, there's a fabulous bar inside that really showcases the quality of their drinks. All the employees are kind and helpful. They gave me advice for making cocktails, and were overall a pleasure to chat up. I'll be coming back again! Worth the drive 100% if you're not from around the area.

Once we arrived there was a nice, masked friendly gentleman who was very knowledgeable about the store at first we were probably not going to buy anything however after talking for a little while we both walked out with something I got a moscule mule: It was okay for 3.00 a can, is it my favorite no but refreshing. My buddy got PB whiskey it was pretty good, a splash of Pepsi in it is what I recommend however you could do it straight. Another note: Is they are in the process of building a bar in addition to the store so that is pretty cool it's not up yet however you can go through the " tour" see the plans on the wall and space. Overall experience - friendly safe staff. - followed covid 19 processes. - soon will have a bar which will be a nice feature. Would I go again? Probably however I learned a lot of the items carried are local so I was hoping for that " gem " whiskey, however, the drive was nice.
