My brother is loyal to this small establishment and I can see why. There is a large variety of wine and liquor available and the prices are entirely reasonable. I was talking up sweet tea vodka to my brother and he said that he didn't think this place would carry that but they DID. Wow. I can't see him/me changing liquor stores in Albany anytime soon.

These three gentleman do not push you to purchase anything, they're easy going and friendly. They host wine sampling nights on Friday evenings. Update: 7/30/2018 Even after moving out of center square, I still travel down here from Saratoga Springs to purchase my wine. This store is a hidden gem, it may not be as big as empire wine or all star wine and liquors in Latham, but it has all the hard to acquire, high quality selections that nether store offers. For example, I can not obtain the 2014 Domaine Eden Pinot Noir anywhere else but Capital wines. Other stores sell the more expensive, the same vineyard Pinot noir but from the Santa Barbara location. This year marks their ten year anniversary in business, and they provide such a inspirational selection of high-quality wines, it's my personal favorite wine store when I'm buying wine for someone special, cheers :)

When I was moving recently, they seemed extremely happy to help me out with boxes, and they'll often give you little gifts, like free Bacardi glasses. They definitely are great neighbors for the Delaware Ave area. That said, I think they are a little pricier than other places, and the wine selection lacks a little. There are plenty of Napa Valley and other Northern Cali wines, but not very many wines from France or Spain. But for liquor or a quick bottle of wine for dinner, it's a good place to stop.

Boozy Moo is interesting, because it has an ax throwing area, another area with swings, a bar and boozy ice cream. I had never seen anything like this place. I stopped in before they closed, and it was still pretty crowded. I would definitely come back here again and take advantage of more of their offerings. I recommend stopping in if you're in the area!
