I'm usually pretty friendly and chatty with strangers so I said hello, then made a little joke about how they probably don't sell much wine (because they are directly across from TU, so I imagine it's more like beer and liquor sales.) The man behind the counter stood up and told me I didn't have to be rude, and to go ahead and go, and was very short with me. I asked for clarification because I was confused. He told me I "could have kept that to myself." He appeared visibly intoxicated and was aggressive. It was 6:30 pm on a Monday (today). I'm very confused by the encounter and also disappointed, as I would have loved to pop into my closest liquor store to pick up beer or wine on occasion, but I will not be returning to Harvard Liquor. ​

food i got invited to a birthday party and bought 2 cans of…read morefour loko to bring with me. unfortunately, i drank too much at the party, getting blackout drunk, moving and talking without conscious memory of doing so. first lesson, 1 four loko is plenty to intoxicate a full grown adult man. second, when attending a party hosted by someone you do not know very well, i'd suggest getting disposable cups if also bringing drinks, with the smallest size available appropriate for a high alcohol percentage drink like four loko. nonetheless, the party hosts did have cups available, though i began drinking early into the party and hesitated to ask for a cup because of a reticence of already being a guest at a house. service the service from the worker at the cash register was friendly and kind. ambiance i'd bought four loko from the store once before and remember it located in a fridge along the back wall toward the right side, about where it was again saturday, indicating continuity from when i'd shopped at the store a few years ago to last week.
