The lack of basic customer service and respect was surprising and unacceptable. If this is how customers are treated for asking a simple question, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

We had been regular customers for years. My kids ordered two steaks from Malbec Grill and instead received two burgers from 3:33 Burgers. At the time, I was at the hospital with my husband, and my kids were home alone. I called calmly and politely and asked them to correct their mistake. The person who answered identified himself as Francesco, the manager. He told me I had to bring the burgers back in order to get the steaks. I explained that I physically could not do that because I was at the hospital. His sarcastic response was essentially, "Your kids can eat the burgers. Nothing is going to happen to them." From there, his behavior was unbelievably disrespectful. He laughed, mocked me, and told me there are wars and people dying in the world, as if I had no right to complain about an order the restaurant got wrong. When I said I would speak with his boss, he sarcastically replied, "Oh, I'm so scared." The wrong order was a mistake. Francesco's attitude was not. It was rude, mocking, and completely unacceptable for anyone in customer service, especially a manager. I eventually received a refund through Uber Eats, but after this treatment and two ignored written complaints, I will never return to Malbec Grill.
