Great selection and competitive prices. There were some "premium" bourbons available on the shelf, and a nice layout for everything else. I was traveling from out of town and stubbled into this store by chance. The owner was in the middle of taking a delivery, but spent time to helping me out. She offered a recommendation for grabbing a drink while waiting for a friend and looked up walking directions for me. Great experience and I hope you stop in. read more

My friends and I live about 1/4 mile from Liquor Expo and have become fast friends with Greg, the owner. They have everything we need when going out, from a winter wine night to a day at the beach. Greg is always a friendly face and knows each of us by name (after we first met). It sounds funny because it's a liquor store but seriously couldn't recommend this establishment more. This place has the best service and craft beer selection. Their delivery service is also very prompt and reasonably priced. They even take Venmo! I remember going in when they opened about a year ago and asked the owner if they had anything from Marz, and he said they didn't but assured me he would add it to the list of breweries they should start carrying. Sure enough, when I came in a couple weeks later they had an unbelievable selection of Marz offerings. Hope the owner and his nephew, the co-owner, continue to succeed! read more

This is the place. It's got a good selection for the size. A little bit pricier than the warehouse style places around, but the service is outstanding and I love supporting the local shops. I live roughly 100 yards away and was very skeptical about a Lincoln Park neighborhood liquor store, price wise. So pleased to find out that their prices are spot on. A bit above market value but lower than 7/11 which I used to have to walk to, just down the street. A friend referred me to Liquor Expo (2154 N Halsted), which opened last summer. When we went, I realized that this is not your average liquor store.
