This liquor store has thE most extensive variety we've seen in our entire lives. Very western. This part of the world is a trip! They also carry an extensive variety of Mexican snacks for boozing. This is THE place in Tuscon for your rare booze needs. My husband picked up a bottle of Templeton's rye - not available everywhere. Highly recommend this store - it's out of the way but worth it. The BEST liquor store I've known in Arizona in 37 years of residence! Nil knows me and me little family on sight, as do his staff, and while I don't often shop there, when I need to obtain GOOD beer, such a REAL Plsner beer or sliwowitza (strong plum brandy from Eastern Europe, a MUST in COLD weather) it is to Liquor Dan that my Balkan Babushka and I turn! GOD BLESS the staff and business of Liquor Dan! read more

This place should be called "Liquor Dan's Alcohol Museum". There is nothing alcoholic that you can't find here. Just wandering the aisles is an amazing experience. read more

10/10 for this local liquor store. Nestled on the south side, this is definitely worth a stop in. Great selection! Lots of snacks and the trending tajin and chamoy covered gummies/ nuts variety, cool stickers.. I always wanna get distracted looking around in here! Excellent service, fast friendly, very chill. Good parking lot and easy to get to. Definitely check this out if you're in the hood! read more

Hunting fine tequilas I found this location to be a pretty good source for Tears of Llorona & El Tesoro among a few other additive free tequilas. Store is well laid out, staff is extremely welcoming & knowlegable, prices are reasonable & selection is reliable & replenished often. read more

Out of the way location (unless you live in the neighborhood or are driving through the southwest corner of town). Excellent selection of tequila and mezcal. Great service. Super friendly staff, amazing assortment of spirits and liquor, and great pricing to boot. I was able to grab a bottle of Penasco Anejo for myself and a double pack of Barenjager Honey liqeur + Barenjager & rum for my wife , without even leaving the neighborhood. This is most definitely a diamond in the rough when it comes to liquor stores. Whether you're just looking for a local made bottle of vodka or a pricey bottle of cognac to add to your collection, Liquor Dan has everything. If you're like me and just love to look and read, then you will find yourself spending lots of time here just looking at all the variety they offer. I can't wait to go back. read more

Great selection and service. Has Harris Gin which I always brought back from the UK before it was available in the USA.

Stopped here based on the Yelp Reviews. Great selection of bourbon that are hard to find in Texas. Staff was great. Will come again next time we are in AZ! read more

The customer service was horrible. I was harassed by two of their male employees, as a female I was incredibly uncomfortable. I was trying to buy candy, supporting a small business and they tried charging me $200 and taxing me double for the candy. Asking me personal questions, harassing me saying rude things to me. At the end, they want to threaten me by saying my full name. I've never experienced or been harassed by men as the way they treated me. read more

I wanted to make hand sanitizer out of grain alc. They had large bottles of liquid sanit., gloves, masks, etc. Very nice people. Low prices. read more

Great place. I was greeted immediately and shown to my target isle. Even though it was obvious I was there to shop around, I was made to feel very welcome. I'll definitely be back for more for their great selection. read more

I absolutely dig this humble establishment. Everyone who works here is very helpful. They truly want you to have the best experience and to make sure you find what you're looking for. The pricing is beyond amazing and their deals are always changing depending on what is available. I really appreciate the fact that they'll help you finance something out of your budget. With that mentality I don't feel bad buying at retail value in order to support this local gem. read more

While visiting my folks in Green Valley, I wanted to find a liquor store that wasn't one of the big box stores. The closest one that was fairly near to their house was Liquor Dan's. I checked it out and was very impressed with their selection. I was looking for an fairly obscure bottle of German Liquor and they had it. Their selection of Minis was very good and I have never seen a wider selection of Tequila's anywhere else. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a store definitely worth looking into. read more

Very helpful and friendly staff and a crazy assortment of interesting items. A must see.

Met Shawn on our first visit here. The staff is very helpful and willing to assist. They've got a wealth of options and can even be subject to collectible finds from time to time. Check their Instagram page if you're looking for something rare and/or hard to find, as Shawn usually posts those there. Their selection is impressive for a small shop, and you would probably drive right by if you weren't apprised of their many options. We've been there twice while in town and have found something unavailable in most locations both times. We'll be back when we're in town again. read more
