This liquor store has thE most extensive variety we've seen in our entire lives. Very western. This part of the world is a trip! They also carry an extensive variety of Mexican snacks for boozing. The BEST liquor store I've known in Arizona in 37 years of residence! Nil knows me and me little family on sight, as do his staff, and while I don't often shop there, when I need to obtain GOOD beer, such a REAL Plsner beer or sliwowitza (strong plum brandy from Eastern Europe, a MUST in COLD weather) it is to Liquor Dan that my Balkan Babushka and I turn! Hunting fine tequilas I found this location to be a pretty good source for Tears of Llorona & El Tesoro among a few other additive free tequilas. Store is well laid out, staff is extremely welcoming & knowlegable, prices are reasonable & selection is reliable & replenished often. read more

Super friendly staff, amazing assortment of spirits and liquor, and great pricing to boot. I was able to grab a bottle of Penasco Anejo for myself and a double pack of Barenjager Honey liqeur + Barenjager & rum for my wife , without even leaving the neighborhood. The customer service was horrible. I was harassed by two of their male employees, as a female I was incredibly uncomfortable. I was trying to buy candy, supporting a small business and they tried charging me $200 and taxing me double for the candy. Asking me personal questions, harassing me saying rude things to me. At the end, they want to threaten me by saying my full name. I've never experienced or been harassed by men as the way they treated me. read more

While visiting my folks in Green Valley, I wanted to find a liquor store that wasn't one of the big box stores. The closest one that was fairly near to their house was Liquor Dan's. I checked it out and was very impressed with their selection. I was looking for an fairly obscure bottle of German Liquor and they had it. Their selection of Minis was very good and I have never seen a wider selection of Tequila's anywhere else. The staff were friendly and helpful. Met Shawn on our first visit here. The staff is very helpful and willing to assist. They've got a wealth of options and can even be subject to collectible finds from time to time. Check their Instagram page if you're looking for something rare and/or hard to find, as Shawn usually posts those there. Their selection is impressive for a small shop, and you would probably drive right by if you weren't apprised of their many options. We've been there twice while in town and have found something unavailable in most locations both times. We'll be back when we're in town again. read more
