And honestly this place always has a line sometimes even bigger than Dairy Queen. So if you live on the South side of Tucson you will know a couple traditional spots; liquor express is one of them. They have more than liquor; pretty much everything a Circle K would have. From fountain drinks to mexican candy Liquor Express is a one stop shop. The price of beer is average but liquors and wine are a little bit more expensive. Tonight I was craving a bottle of their best Barefoot wine, but it cost me $9. I called before going to ask the price of my favorite potato vodka after finding out they carry it…read more The woman/owner told me $13.99 which is less expensive that Total Wine so I went to the store, found it in their many locked cabinets and the tag said $13.99. I asked the woman/owner if I could get this and she rung me up only to tell me the price is $19.99. I told her I had just called and asked the price as well as seeing the price tag on the shelf and she said, "I know the wrong price is marked". So they appear to just be scamming people by telling them items are "marked wrong" and then adding $6 dollars to the item. Never going back. I like to support local business but not at the expense of getting conned.

I have asked for specific orders , and they always have always been super nice. In the summer they have a swamp cooler (portable). Hot as sin in there. lol. As far as them watching people going in and out. That neighborhood warrants that.....I would do the same thing.

This market reminds me of the bodegas from the old neighborhoods from New York off of Junction blvd where I used to live, where mom & pop bodegas are in a mass, you walk in & you're not a stranger & Henrys is the same one visit is all it takes & they'll know you & treat you as family. The prices can't be beat! They have everything at the typical grocery store would carry from meats to cereals baby foods even diapers!! just about everything it's like you're one stop shop!
