It was very tight and cluttered. It made me feel claustrophobic. It was hard to breathe and see, all of my sense were being used for all the wrong reasons. She starts off by telling you how good you would look in a piece and then once she says the price your face turns cold. She makes you think you're getting it for a good deal, you're not. The "dressing rooms" were just toilet stalls and they were not clean. Again, it was a very tight space and very overwhelming. She keeps giving you piles of clothes to try on, none of which is actually your style, but she keeps giving them anyways. She offered my friend, who is black, an African style muumuu and told her it was EXACTLY her style. Mind you, my friend is very grungy and isn't necessarily into that style whatsoever. It felt like a micro aggression and was very weird in our opinion. She also told my friend that I looked like I couldn't afford a designer dress, classist. At the end of the day, after trying basically everything in the store on, I decided to purchase a single garment, a shirt supposedly from the 90s. I tell her I want the shirt and that we didnt want to buy anything else and she starts lecturing us about how she has better things to do than put up with our mockery, we never mocked her. She thought the fact that we are giggly teenage girls meant we were bullying her in the stall, that obviously wasnt the case. She then says to me "Are you gonna buy the shirt or what" to which I say yes. We were very confused by all the hostility all of a sudden. We went to check out and she went on another tangent about how she has better things to do and we shouldnt waste her time trying things on, taking pictures, and making fun of this place. We didnt do anything of the sort. She was extremely rude, hostile, and pushy. I hated my experience here and will never be showing up again in the future.

Twice Sold Tales has to be one of the most amazing bookstores in the world. There are fun (and beautiful) arm chairs, benches and other sitting arrangements throughout the store, which invite you to browse and browse to your heart's content. Books are well organized + ridiculously well priced. The owner (originally from near Boston) is dog friendly, people friendly, very well read, and absolutely wonderful in every way! I believe they host a wine bar in the evenings (based on a quick glance at a sign on the way in), but call to double check details. If I lived anywhere close to here, I'd be by all the time. I'd want to be best friends with the owner, drink wine and read for hours, with my dog by my side. Truly a wondrous place!

Our family have never used Wiles Remembrance Centers. The VA…read moresent My Fathers Head Stone to Farmington, Maine and it was Delivered to Wiles Remembrance Center. I went to school with the Owner Rhonda Wiles so she knew who my family was. She never called my Mother nor did she ever have her incompetent staff call my Mother who had lived in Farmington/New Sharon Maine for at the time over 70 years. My father ran a business in Franklin County for Decades. Rhonda would see my mother working at Walmart month after month and never mentioned that her Funeral Home had taken delivery of my Father's Head Stone. After a year my mother called her business and the clerk said, "We have been waiting for you to call, and tell us when you wanted us to place the Head Stone on the Grave!" Again our family NEVER USED Wiles for anything. Our name was very Unusual but only 6 letters, again she and I went to High School and more than one class together. But she could not look in the Phone Book when they existed and make one curious phone call. I called other Funeral Homes in Maine and asked if the VA delivered a Head Stone to their facility and it was not one of their clients what would be the Normal procedure for either returning it to the VA or finding the rightful facility. They all told me, they would at least contact their local competitors, and or local families with the same last Unusual Name. Could she have done that? Yes! Would she? Never As I referred to HER as the Funeral Home, where she was so negligent and they all knew who I was referring to and said she was someone they would never recommend for any service as she does not know about Customer Service and is only interested in the money and not the families Grief. Rhonda when you pass, I hope all the Families you conned out of thousands of dollars see you dragged to Dante's Inferno. Mother was someone who Forgave all the Horrible People who Wronged her.
