Paradigm Gift On our…read morerecent trip thru Rangeley, we visited a lot of gift shops and this place by far was the best of the bunch. *Pricing was actually fairly good considering the area and it's a touristy location *During both our visits, the service was terrific. On the second visit the guy gave us some trails and sightseeing advice on where to reconnoiter. *Kayak rentals by the hour at a very fair price. I believe a double 'yak was ±$20/hr and if you're not an avid 'yaker then an hour is plenty. Believe you me! *Right off the main strip on a side street, so be sure not to miss them! *Tons of gifty things from clothing and food, to stickers and knickknacks *Hours are seasonal so be aware *Free street parking Conclusion: Best spot in Rangeley to get your souvenirs and gifts.

My family of four (kids ages 7 and 9) was looking for a guided kayaking trip while visiting…read moreRangeley, and we're so glad we found Rangeley Adventure Guide Services through their Instagram page! I messaged Seth (@rangeleyadventureco on IG), and the communication was fantastic -- quick, helpful, and super easy to book. We met Seth at the Rangeley Adventure Company store on 7 Pond Street -- definitely worth checking out for gear and gifts! From there, we followed him on a short 10-minute drive to a launch spot in Oquossoc that we never would have found on our own. We paddled up the Kennebago River and back down into the Cupsuptic -- the perfect route on a beautiful day. Along the way, Seth shared some local history (including cool info about old boat hulls around the lake), spotted wildlife for us (we saw a heron multiple times!), and made the whole experience fun, safe, and relaxed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and great with our kids. This 3-hour tour ended up being one of the top highlights of our 10 days in Rangeley. If you're considering a canoe or kayak trip in the area, I highly recommend Rangeley Adventure Guide Services. Thanks again, Seth!

I have always enjoyed this Barnes & Noble location. They offer a wide range of great options for…read morebooks and small gifts. Staff have always been friendly to me, and the location always looks clean and organized. One thing the location would improve is the seating area in Starbucks, and installing areas where computer users can plug their items in while conducting work there. I cannot find any outlets that are accessible in the seating areas of the cafe. Remodeling the cafe area to provide more seating options and accommodate customers' needs will attract more business. I hope you expand out to the Waterville, Maine, area.

I am visiting family and needed a quiet place to work, so I stopped in thinking this establishment would be like all the others. Nope. That wasn't the case. 1. Their Starbucks are not associated with official Starbucks's and They do not take the mobile app or gift cards for payment. It was hard to watch the employees cringe when they had to state that 5 times after I walked in to other patrons. 2. No outlets. Zero outlets, to plug into, to do studying or work. I was told the only outlets were along the wall in the book store and I would have to sit on the floor..... because that was the only option for even local students..... unsatisfactory.... 3. They were out of almond milk..... 4. The store is lucky they have really nice employees, otherwise this would have been a lower rating.
