There were not enough passengers to fill two boats, so we didn't do a water fight. Instead, the kids got to shoot the water off of the boat and still had a blast. This dolphin cruise was so much fun. Staff were so friendly and kind. Two hours was the perfect amount of time as well. Be sure to tip staff. We used the QR code to tip via Venmo. Unlike some other sailing companies, we ACTUALLY sailed in the Gulf (engine off) and enjoyed the breeze and the views. As a sailor on Lake Michigan, Captain Randy let me take the helm of the 35-foot Beneteau for much of the sail. (THANKS, Captain!) He has tons of local knowledge and provided great information to our group. It was a little crowded if you were fishing on the sides of the boat. The captain did his best to put us on fish, and moved a number of times. All in all, it was fun and we each caught some fish. The mates were really good - they took your fish off, cut up bait, helped with tangled rods, cleaned your fish. If you can afford to charter a captain and boat, that would definitely be more fun. And I cannot imagine taking the 3pm fishing trip if it's July or August - it would be hotter than hell. But for the cost, this was fun. Definitely a well-managed operation.

Captain Troy let us know that the day we booked, had predicted winds of 22 knots and offered an optional day. The "Sea Hunter" fishing boat and its crew was exactly what our group needed. It was a spacious boat with an air conditioned cabin and plenty of space for our group. We caught our limit of red snapper and a king mackerel, so the catching was great. The boat staff cleaned our fish when we returned to the marina, and we took quite a few fillets to Zeke's restaurant where they cooked them up for us; what an awesome feature!! Everyone loved the fresh fish and sides, and we did a few appetizers to round out the lunch. Give these folks a try, and I bet you will love them like we did!

Our party of 4 caught 40+ snapper and the deck hands were amazing with cleaning and attending to all of us during the charter! I can't wait to try all the fish! The marina was clean and nice! The gift shop is well stocked with snacks and neat gifts! We have charted here before and highly recommend! Side note: You can have the restaurant cook the fish you caught right there at the marina! We opted to cook a meal at home, but will try the restaurant next time!
