I went there a few months ago and was told by Nancy treatment could not be done until I had a few milia removed. I was seeing my dermatologist in 3 days time and she asked me if I wanted him to remove the "milia" and then go back for the skin treatment. The alternative was have her remove the milia. She left it open and I opted for having the regular dermatologist remove them first. Today I went back for the treatment, my 680$ gift card in hand. As soon as I checked in I was ordered to provide a credit card " to be stored". I asked why since I had a gift card to pay for the entire treatment. I was told it was bc some patrons miss their appts. I replied I had not missed my appt, I was there and had a gift card no need for " storing my credit card" and further more I live in another city and would not be going back so far to do a skin treatment. Forward to the treatment room. Nancy attacked me asap telling me I was insulting her by not providing my credit card and by saying it was an unjustified policy. She then proceeded to complain that I had insulted her by going to my life long dermatologist instead of having her remove the milia a few months prior ( when she was the one who suggested it). She kept going on about it making it extremely unpleasant. Once treatment was over, at the counter I told her storing the clients' credit cards was a liability to her and the clients ( I'm a banker). She responded I was questioning her integrity. I then informed her it was not her integrity at all I was questioning but the danger of hacking data and ( in that particular area) even someone stealing the office supplies, records, etc). She responded her data was extremely safe and I was questioning her integrity. I let it drop, you can't teach people like that. The receptionist told me the treatment was 650$ and my gift card was for the same amount, did I want to leave a tip? I said negative to that question. Now my daughter tells me the gift card was for 680$. This is a first for me, never had a negative and aggressive spa treatment provider before, and I am old and retired. But live and learn Stressful and disappointed. My daughter gave me an expensive and loving gift and I was met by a rude provider.
