Warning about this dealership... Sold a Van with bad transmission…read more... I purchased a high mile van from them site unseen. I trust in dealerships vs individuals for the reason that they go over any trade in before the retail it. We made the deal and they delivered the van. I didn't drive it immediately, as I was setting it up for a specific purpose. The first drive, I immediately noticed on the highway a on/off droning vibration. I immediately text the sales person about what I heard and I was going to look into it more and hope it was a simple fix (which I would have done myself) I understand small things needing fixed on a high-mile vehicle. So after a lot of research, testing, and talking to several ASE Ford mechanics, I found the torque converter was bad causing the chattering, and this in turn wears out the transmission parts.... I called around to several places and found a place that would do a complete transmission rebuild, and new converter for $2k.... I was in contact the whole time with Ware Chevrolet about the issue..... Today, I text them about the great deal I found to do the work ($2k vs $4k at most places). The "sales mgr" called me, and explained his delivery guy didn't notice the issue. I explained that if he had the radio up, or didn't realize what was happening, he wouldn't have noticed. The Mgr then proceeded to tell me they didn't make enough off the van to cover the cost, and that he was sorry that anything could happen at any time (I agree with that, but this was an issue already there). He also mentioned that they took it in trade and just took the man's word on it! So they didn't test it obviously, and sold it RETAIL and didn't run it thru auction instead. I own a business, If my customer purchased something from me (jetski or boat) and it failed on the first outing, I would take care of it REGARDLESS of the profit or no-profit on that item, My name means more than a few bucks!. Ware doesn't feel the same way. They offered nothing, ZERO, NADA, but "I'm sorry, have a nice day" So before you purchase something from them, Test drive it, do NOT buy over the internet or phone! If you're not a mechanic, HAVE IT CHECKED OUT because they obviously do not. I happen to be lucky that I know people to get this job done for $2k when someone else may end up with a $4-$5k bill... but again maybe I'm not so lucky as they probably knew there was an issue..... Who knows the truth but what I know is, They sold a van to me that has a bad transmission.

I'm preparing to go from a party of 1 plus an 80lb dog to a party of 2 plus dog come October (my…read morefirst human kid), and I figured I'd probably need to upsize from my tiny Mazda CX-3 to something a little roomier. I love my little Mazda, especially the gas mileage, but there was barely enough room for the dog in the backseat. After doing A LOT of research I knew exactly what I wanted: a Toyota Tacoma 4runner, Limited, preowned. Because of Corona I did a couple weeks worth of online shopping and phone calls with dealerships all over the Texa-homa region, and finally set a date to make a round of appointments at four dealerships in one day with the goal of coming home with a new car. Four Stars was my second appointment of the day, and the last one I needed. I worked with Marvin Tate, and he was a phenomenal salesman. He actually listened to all my wants and needs, and he understood and respected my budget instead of pushing the most expensive cars on me just to make a bigger sale. He helped me find the perfect fit, then helped me work a great deal with the manager Dell Pauley before sitting down to crunch the final numbers and sign the paperwork with Gary. I ended up getting a great price on my 4runner, $3500 over the average KBB value for my trade in, a reasonable interest rate, an added warranty, and even some all weather floor heavy duty floor mats all under my original budget. I am extremely happy with the service and professionalism of everyone who helped me find and buy the perfect car, so Four Stars Toyota gets Five Stars from me!

When I purchased a vehichle from them they did 0 maintenance work before having me drive away, they also did not let me test drive they just jumped me into paper work and had me take off with the car. Whenever I asked questions about the vehichle I was told to ask another dealership. Please do not go here if you are interested in a car.

For starters. The people at their service department are by far the worst team I've ever dealt…read morewith. My vehicle was diagnosed by their "technician" with a problem in the fuel system. When trying to fill up it would only allow the pump to put in $5 or less. I was informed that the gas tank and some kind of filter needed to be replaced. The part (Tank) needed was not available and that it would take at least one day for it to come and that they would have the vehicle ready for pick up in 2 days. At this time I told the gentleman to go ahead and order the part, The part arrived 3-4 days later. I called and was told that there were delays with the delivery ( really?) and that the vehicle would be ready late that afternoon. At about 45 minutes before closing I called but was asked to leave a message and that they would call me. Guess what? exactly, no call and no updates. Next day, called again and I was given the same story about leaving a message. I waited and since their personnel didn't call me I decided to go by the dealership and check in person. Well, the gentleman told me that they were working on the vehicle and that it would be ready before closing. I'm not sure about it being ready but I was able to pick up my vehicle that day. Left the dealership and went straight to the gas station. To my surprise the problem was alive. Returned to the dealership, was told that the qualified, certified and verified 'technician" was not available and that first thing next morning they would check the vehicle again. To make sure things didn't go south I was there before opening. Here is where I started to doubt their skills. The technician said the the problem still exist, Duh! I asked if anyone checked or even tested to see if the problem has been fixed before the vehicle was returned to me? they all looked at each other and I swear it was as if a remake of an episode of the three stooges was being taped. Well now I was told that even when the tank and carbon "filter" or whatever else it was replaced that this problem may occur. How can this happen with so many expensive parts being replaced after your accurate diagnostic? Sir, we are going to check and without a doubt the vehicle will be ready this afternoon. Oh this is awesome! now I have their word and nothing can go wrong because they have given me their word. That afternoon, I went to the service department to pick up my vehicle and not only it wasn't ready but it was parked outside with a flat tire, subway sandwiches wrappers on the console and bird "poop" all over it. Once again there was no explanation as to how any of this happened. The Certified, Qualified and Verified 'technician' said he didn't move the vehicle and I guess he didn't noticed it was missing? by Now, now we were into the holidays and it took a few more days to hear back or get a call back. I was told that they found the problem, Alleluia! it turned out it was the least expensive and easiest to replace part. So in short, my vehicle was diagnosed with cancer, Treated for Leukemia as if terminal but it was only a common cold. Good to know I had all those expensive parts replaced by a Trustworthy, Certified Qualified, Verified and well supervised team! !
