Clean efficient professionally staffed and convenient gets better and better. Excellent location and hours.

Every so often I need to get something altered and most places love turning you away and saying no whilst I've found Lipoa Laundry to be the best as they have taken most projects. I plan to try them out for dry cleaning to see how that goes. We will see. read more

The place was packed but it was efficiently run. We thought it would take forever after the big storm but we were out in about a little over an hour. They had big and small loads. The owner was great . read more

On time service and always welcoming I use their drop off service and haven't been disappointed since I moved back to the islands!!

Our washer gave out on us, and Lipoa Laundry Center came through in a big way. We dropped off a full basket of clothes, and within 24 hours everything was cleaned, dried, and neatly folded. Just a heads up: they're cash only. read more

Every Laundromat should have a mascot! My favorite part of doing my laundry was meeting Dooley, this 14 year old pup with a sweet temperament. Friendly staff/owners. The business was clean, and all machines were in good working order. read more

Even though the laundromat is rather small in comparison to those in Kahului, it's actually pretty nice and convenient for those living in Kihei. It's upsetting the review ratings are below Four Stars as I didn't have problems with the machines nor experienced anything negative with the staff. They were courteous to their customers and helpful when asked questions about their business. Instead of going to town, I'm most likely returning to this laundromat as it's near home. Go in, wash my clothes, dry and fold, it was that simple. read more

My go-to laundromat in kihei! Customers and employees are chill and friendly, the environment is comfortable, and they provide a variety of sizes of washers/dryers, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets! The price for a med load is affordable ~$20 in total. Love the service, love the convenience, love the dog! read more

Towards the beginning of quarantine, our washing machine broke, so I volunteered to take our stuff to the laundromat. I will be honest & say that I've never been to one, except for back in college when I used the coin operated one in my apartment complex. So watching me was like amateur hour. I did think it was great that there were several size washers as I had just a small amount & could fit everything in the smallest size. I put everything in correctly, but was just kind of confused at the final step of locking the door as the instructions didn't quite line up with what I was actually supposed to do. I guess the owner saw me struggling & came over to help me. Talk about embarrassing. There are chairs & benches inside, but I waited in my car, since you know COVID until it was ready. Didn't need the dryer, so I grabbed my laundry & left. The facility & machines were clean with more then enough for everyone. There is an ATM in case you forget your quarters. read more

Līpoa Laundry Center was a lifesaver. We were staying in Wailea and had been hiking up Haleakala. Our clothes were super-dirty and to have them laundered by our hotel would have been insanely expensive. I found Līpoa Laundry on Yelp and was able to drop off our clothes here to be laundered and ready the next day. They charged us about $21 for a load of laundry and it was not only done in time for us to pick up the following morning, it was neatly folded and bagged for us. I'm really grateful for Līpoa Laundry for being reliable and a great value. They even went out of their way to rush the laundry so it would be ready by the following morning instead of noon. Lastly, this is a cash only establishment by the way, so please be sure to have some on hand. read more

Even though this is the only laundry mat in Kihei, it's still pretty decent. The owner is very nice and super helpful. The machines worked really well and the dryer took less time than expected. read more

The one chore I absolutely despise is laundry, especially folding, so I prefer to drop my laundry off once a month when I'm at my place on Maui. Lipoa is easily the best spot I've found to drop my laundry off for wash and fold service, and the only place I trust now. It's also extremely affordable at $1.99 a lbs. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, & I highly recommend you give them a try if you're like me, or you don't have a washer & dryer at your spot. read more

Terrible Service When going there you have to both wash and dry your clothes there. Just doing one or the other is not allowed. It's been constantly raining and I've been going there for a while to dry my clothes on rainy days. When arriving I was met with a sign, saying that just using the dryer is not allowed. This happened just hours ago while I'm writing this review. Hopefully they change this policy. It would make me very happy and very pleased to use their dryer next time it rains again. read more

Used them on a trip to Maui with the fam. Quality service for a great price. Cash only! Highly recommended if you need their services

Lipoa Laundry was quick and reasonably priced. No complains here. I will use them again.

Lipoa laundry was great. same day service was like $3.60/lb, the clothes were perfectly clean, folded, and they pulled it off in just a few hours. read more

Very clean and plenty of large capacity washers and dryers! It was $4 for a washer and 25 cents for 2 minutes on the dryers. Great place for a load of vacation wash! read more

Lipoa Laundry Center is a GREAT place. The center is clean and the staff is always kind and helpful. We own a rental condo in Kihei so it's convenient and the turn-around time is fast. Grace, who is the owner, focuses on providing EXCELLENT Customer Service. We truly appreciate her and the rest of the staff for taking care of our laundry needs. Trudy W. read more

I haven't done coin laundry since I lived in the dorms but from my recollection, this laundry mat is pretty standard. There are tons of washing/drying machines, a detergent dispenser, two snack/drink vending machines, a few arcade games, and a small tv. My husband and I arrived to Maui after spending a week in Korea so we were desperate to do laundry. Surprisingly, this was one of the only laundry mats we could find nearby. The laundry attendants were nice and helpful. The machines looked like they had seen better days but our clothes came out just fine. read more

I come here for all my alterations and hemming. I wish I knew her name - she is simply amazing and on point.

I had to wash 5 loads of new linens so tried Lipoa laundry. The desk staff was helpful but not extreme my friend. The laundry had plenty of machines, folding tables and provided change. It too approximately two hours from start to finish. They also have a laundry service by the pound. Down side is that you need a lot of quarters but I was able to exchange money directly with cashier getting $10 of quarters at a time. There are super large washing machines, regular size and top loaders. read more

Great place to drop off vacation laundry. Very reasonably priced and our clothes were cleaned, folded and packed the next morning.

TOTAL RIP OFF !! STAY away from this awful place. Let me list the ways #1- They said "free" pick up and return. They picked up my 4 blankets, 4 sheet sets, 4 pillow and 4 bathroom rugs. Then I got a call with the price. Basically 5 loads in the big washers. The quote was $539.00 plus tax. Really? I wasn't busying new stuff..just washing the old. When I told them to just wash the blankets, and I would pick up the rest of the thing and wash it myself they said $223. and then they charged me for pick up and delivery an extra $30. #2. When I picked my things up, they were nasty, and wouldn't help me carry the large blankets to my car. #3. Later in the day I recieved a call that I had "taken" someone else things, and they had pictures. No I had taken only what they gave me....with my name on it. TOTALLY unprofessional, nasty, people that really have no place living on Maui. read more

Quite small laundry center. We went around 9AM and most of the washers were already taken. Some of them are really small. They are $2.50 a load. They have an ATM if you don't have cash on you, and 2 machines to convert $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills into quarters. A bench and 2 chairs outside for you to chill and wait, and also a bench inside. There's one TV, folding stations, and a couple of carts for you to throw your clothes in and roll around with you. They also have snacks from rice crispies to chips and cookies. They even have Kimchi Saimin bowls, but not sure if they heat that up for you, or if you're on your own with that lol. Although it's a bit small, it's a nice quiet place. Good customer service. Friendly workers. - they no longer have the arcade games that they once had when I was small - they have laundry soap/dryer sheet dispensers too read more

While vacationing on Maui, finding ourselves in need of clean clothes we were told about this absolute gem of a laundromat. The service is absolutely fantastic, they offer a wash and fold service which is the best deal I found around and if your into doing your own laundry the machines are excellent quality and do an excellent job of getting your clothes clean and dry. In short (I know this wasn't that short) best place in town heck i will go as far as to say "The best place on the Island to get your laundry done or to do it yourself. . read more

Excellent place with plenty of parking. The owner was nice enough to show me a large washer that was open for my car cover. The machines are a little prIcey but so is everything else in Maui nowadays. Quick and easy wash! IGNORE the dummy who left the negative review below. Calling the owner "racist" because he didn't want the customer overloading his small washer is absurd. read more

Excellent wash and fold service at Lipoa Laundry Center. I just returned from 7 days in Wailea and then 5 more in Kauai. I read an earlier review about their wash and fold service and thought that was a great idea. We were staying at the Grand Wailea and there is no way I would pay those prices for laundry. We dropped off two laundry bags from the Grand Wailea and picked it up the next day for $17.00! I didn't put any delicate or dry clean items, just underwear, shorts, t shirts and jeans. They even told me if I brought it in early in the morning I could pick it up that afternoon. I will definitely use their services again the next time I'm in Maui. read more

Stayed at the Marriott about 2 miles away. Instead of paying $14 for one shirt to be laundered, we paid slightly more for 10 lbs worth for my family. Dropped it off and 24 hours later, they had it folded and ready. Great alternative to resort pricing. read more

Great Friendly Alteration Service! I had 4 pairs of pants hemmed here. The service was amazing! Not only did Grace do a great job, but she was available right away, and my pants were ready to pickup the next business day! She hemmed my pants so well that you couldn't even tell anything was done to them. The stitching was perfect, and matched the original pants. Price was very reasonable. Grace was super friendly.
