Even though the laundromat is rather small in comparison to those in Kahului, it's actually pretty nice and convenient for those living in Kihei. It's upsetting the review ratings are below Four Stars as I didn't have problems with the machines nor experienced anything negative with the staff. They were courteous to their customers and helpful when asked questions about their business. Instead of going to town, I'm most likely returning to this laundromat as it's near home. Towards the beginning of quarantine, our washing machine broke, so I volunteered to take our stuff to the laundromat. I will be honest & say that I've never been to one, except for back in college when I used the coin operated one in my apartment complex. So watching me was like amateur hour. I did think it was great that there were several size washers as I had just a small amount & could fit everything in the smallest size. I put everything in correctly, but was just kind of confused at the final step of locking the door as the instructions didn't quite line up with what I was actually supposed to do. I guess the owner saw me struggling & came over to help me. Talk about embarrassing. There are chairs & benches inside, but I waited in my car, since you know COVID until it was ready. Didn't need the dryer, so I grabbed my laundry & left. The facility & machines were clean with more then enough for everyone. There is an ATM in case you forget your quarters. read more

Līpoa Laundry Center was a lifesaver. We were staying in Wailea and had been hiking up Haleakala. Our clothes were super-dirty and to have them laundered by our hotel would have been insanely expensive. I found Līpoa Laundry on Yelp and was able to drop off our clothes here to be laundered and ready the next day. They charged us about $21 for a load of laundry and it was not only done in time for us to pick up the following morning, it was neatly folded and bagged for us. I'm really grateful for Līpoa Laundry for being reliable and a great value. They even went out of their way to rush the laundry so it would be ready by the following morning instead of noon. Lastly, this is a cash only establishment by the way, so please be sure to have some on hand. read more

The one chore I absolutely despise is laundry, especially folding, so I prefer to drop my laundry off once a month when I'm at my place on Maui. Terrible Service When going there you have to both wash and dry your clothes there. Just doing one or the other is not allowed. It's been constantly raining and I've been going there for a while to dry my clothes on rainy days. When arriving I was met with a sign, saying that just using the dryer is not allowed. This happened just hours ago while I'm writing this review. Hopefully they change this policy. It would make me very happy and very pleased to use their dryer next time it rains again. read more

I had to wash 5 loads of new linens so tried Lipoa laundry. The desk staff was helpful but not extreme my friend. The laundry had plenty of machines, folding tables and provided change. It too approximately two hours from start to finish. They also have a laundry service by the pound. Down side is that you need a lot of quarters but I was able to exchange money directly with cashier getting $10 of quarters at a time. There are super large washing machines, regular size and top loaders. read more

I haven't done coin laundry since I lived in the dorms but from my recollection, this laundry mat is pretty standard. There are tons of washing/drying machines, a detergent dispenser, two snack/drink vending machines, a few arcade games, and a small tv. My husband and I arrived to Maui after spending a week in Korea so we were desperate to do laundry. Surprisingly, this was one of the only laundry mats we could find nearby. The laundry attendants were nice and helpful. The machines looked like they had seen better days but our clothes came out just fine. read more

Great place to drop off vacation laundry. Very reasonably priced and our clothes were cleaned, folded and packed the next morning.

Quite small laundry center. We went around 9AM and most of the washers were already taken. Some of them are really small. They are $2.50 a load. They have an ATM if you don't have cash on you, and 2 machines to convert $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills into quarters. A bench and 2 chairs outside for you to chill and wait, and also a bench inside. There's one TV, folding stations, and a couple of carts for you to throw your clothes in and roll around with you. They also have snacks from rice crispies to chips and cookies. They even have Kimchi Saimin bowls, but not sure if they heat that up for you, or if you're on your own with that lol. Although it's a bit small, it's a nice quiet place. Good customer service. Friendly workers. - they no longer have the arcade games that they once had when I was small - they have laundry soap/dryer sheet dispensers too read more

TOTAL RIP OFF !! STAY away from this awful place. Let me list the ways #1- They said "free" pick up and return. They picked up my 4 blankets, 4 sheet sets, 4 pillow and 4 bathroom rugs. Then I got a call with the price. Basically 5 loads in the big washers. The quote was $539.00 plus tax. Really? I wasn't busying new stuff..just washing the old. When I told them to just wash the blankets, and I would pick up the rest of the thing and wash it myself they said $223. and then they charged me for pick up and delivery an extra $30. #2. When I picked my things up, they were nasty, and wouldn't help me carry the large blankets to my car. #3. Later in the day I recieved a call that I had "taken" someone else things, and they had pictures. No I had taken only what they gave me....with my name on it. Excellent wash and fold service at Lipoa Laundry Center. I just returned from 7 days in Wailea and then 5 more in Kauai. I read an earlier review about their wash and fold service and thought that was a great idea. We were staying at the Grand Wailea and there is no way I would pay those prices for laundry. We dropped off two laundry bags from the Grand Wailea and picked it up the next day for $17.00! I didn't put any delicate or dry clean items, just underwear, shorts, t shirts and jeans. They even told me if I brought it in early in the morning I could pick it up that afternoon. I will definitely use their services again the next time I'm in Maui. read more

Great Friendly Alteration Service! I had 4 pairs of pants hemmed here. The service was amazing! Not only did Grace do a great job, but she was available right away, and my pants were ready to pickup the next business day!
