Very clean facility and nice workers but the fact there's not a single countertop or table in this place is pretty inconvenient. I've been coming here for years to do my laundry. I love the staff, cleanliness and how up-kept this facility is. My 1-star goes to the homeless vehicles that's take up parking for paying customers. Parking is limited because of all the junk cars parked outside this facility. It's pathetic and an eye sore to see this. I don't know who can do something about this but it's terrible! I usually wash at home then take my clothes here to dry. I hate hanging clothes so I go here because it's close to where I live. This is the cleanest laundromat I've seen on Maui. The staff here are really nice and friendly. There are different sizes of washers and dryers. I sometimes go to the $7.75 washer but always use the regular size dryer which is 2 min per quarter. If you need a roll of quarters you can give a $10 bill to one of the workers or you can use their coin machine for loose quarters. They also sell snacks and laundry supplies. There are limited seating areas but I like to wait in my car. It gets very busy here, especially during weekends and rainy days. The parking is very very limited. We always parallel park on the street because the parking lot is very narrow and you just can't trust anybody nowadays if they'll hit your car or not. This laundromat is surrounded my many food options! While you're waiting for your clothes to wash or dry you can walk over to McDonalds, Jollibee, Kau Kau food court or even Minit Stop right across the street. read more

This laundromat is spacious, bright, and is probably one of the cleanest on Maui. I come here regularly not to wash clothes, but to use their dryers because ain't nobody got time to hang & line-dry 5+ loads of laundry -- not me anyway! I love coming here because they have very large, EXPRESSDRY dryers. YES. No 1 hour long waits for me! It's $0.25 cents per 2 minutes and I'm usually in and out of here in 40 minutes or less. Maybe I come on off times (usually Sunday in the late afternoon), but I've never had to wait for the dryers to open up (there are plenty). I did have to wait for a parking space because the lot is small and spaces are limited, but that's also a rare occasion. They have rolling carts available to transport your laundry, a money change machine, atm, a few arcade games, and they offer a handful of items for purchase for your laundry needs like Clorox, plastic bags, box soap, fabric softener, etc. They even have you covered with hot pockets, cup o noodles, kimchee bowls, drinks, ice cream, & other snacks if you get hungry! read more

We went here to wash a comforter as my washer at home couldn't hold this big thing. We walked in and there were so many machines to chose from. We looked lost my mom found the biggest washer so she told me to go make change at the change machine. I was like okay she also told me to buy soap. So I felt a tap on my shoulder it was a friendly sweet nice employee she told me we need 9.75 for that machine and two soaps. I guess we looked lost and didn't know what to do. She was so kind to help us out. We bought two soaps and it was 1 dollar each. She told us it was going to take 30 minutes for that wash. I didn't want to dry it there but come home and hang it on the line I don't like that expensive thing In the dryer. This place is really clean and the employees are nice. They have a restroom if you're there and need to go just ask for the key. They have a change machine if you need for the washers and dryers. We'll be back in a few months to wash the comforter. I needed to wash my cloth car cover today, I tried the other laundromats in Kihei, and Kahului who were both rude to me asking a simple question. The local red shirt Asian lady was so helpful to my questions and showed me what machine to use and what temp I should use. I was in and out in 40 minutes. I had an emergency to tend to when I left this laundromat , I left my clothes in a washer and just assumed that they would be gone by the end of the day. I then came back the next day after working and Jean greeted me and let me know they take good care of the clothes coming in and out of there. She was so kind to me and she is the reason I will be coming back. She reassured me that they were safe and even helped me through the whole process. My giant comforter won't fit in my home washer and dryer so I have to wash it in an industrial sized unit, and after being to many of the other laundromats on Maui the Kahului Laundromat is by far the best. Had the day off and decided to wash all my bedding as well as my weekly laundry. I called this place and they told me they would help to show me how the big machines work. Got here and went to the counter to talk to them. Jean was very friendly and showed me step by step what I needed to do. Even sells rolls of quarters for the big machines. Her husband Jerry just as friendly. Both have big smiles. I was able to get everything in one of there 60 lb. machines and the giant dryer. Needed to use the restroom and even that was spotless. The place I work for even has our shirts and towels laundered here. We drop it off and pick it up later, all folded and clean. I'll be back more often to get the bedding and other big jobs done. read more

Used this place while on vacation last. Really, really clean and well-kempt. The woman who runs it (also the owner) is really nice, very friendly, always available. They have vending machines with food, but also stuff and drinks behind the counter for sale. Best part? A cold can of pop was only a dollar, they definitely do not gouge you on prices. read more

I drop my laundry off here weekly for the nice ladies to handle for me. They always do a great job and the fee is reasonable. I saw a complaint because someone left the site to get gas. I believe there's a sign up not to leave your laundry unattended. And if you are you definitely shouldn't come back after closing. That's just common sense. The only other complaint was because someone walked in at 8pm to do a load. They close the gate at 8pm. It's not the time to just arrive to start your laundry. They stay past 8 for people who are already there to finish up. They've always been very nice and helpful to me. If those are the only complaints- two people who don't have common sense, it's a pretty good sign this place is ok. read more
