The Rapid Transit staff gave me fantastic advice on shoes several years ago and I have gratefully stuck with the same brand and model since. So, obviously service is top-notch. I am also happy to share that prices are competitive with--or cheaper than--certain big box sports stores. My shoes were 20% less than the big box retailer's price. Rapid Transit also has a great selection of Penn State gear for Nittany Lion fans. Shop local. Shop quality. Shop Rapid Transit.

We came in looking for deals on some white Penn State gear for next week's white out and was not disappointed in the selection of items available at a very reasonable price. Hats were $28-35 and the hooded sweatshirts were a nice $45. Running shoes (we only checked the prices for comparison) were a little more expensive than the chains, but supporting local businesses could justify the difference in cost. I don't think you'll find Nike and other major brands, but you will find something!

As far as quality goes, it really depends on what you get and how much you spend. Go with your top notch gear like Under Armour and Nike, you are guaranteed quality. From hoodies, to tshirts, to shorts, they carry the whole line. Some of the embroidered hoodies are actually sweet. So sweet that I picked up two. If your pockets aren't quite as deep, then you can go with the misc brands that they carry. The t-shirts are screen printed and run under $10, and you can easily find a hoody around $20. Just don't expect too much from the quality, but then again, you get what you pay for. On top of apparel, they also carry some misc goods. You can snag some goodies for your pets, or even your golf clubs. Tons of variety here. Varying quality depending on how much you want to spend, but c'mon. You have to shell out a little more to get the best.

I tried on 3 different occasions and on the third the manager just told me to order the shaft and do it myself. Even the manager realizes that the pro overcharges for the simple tasks he is charged to complete. Shout out to the manager for doing my friend's grip. The pro is so unreliable that the manager has to take on extra responsibility. Good on him. I mean you would expect a "PRO" to actually be in the golf section. As a student it is not easy to get off campus to the Dick's(Properly named) so getting an uber is not ideal. Just go to a pga or the penn state course, or do it yourself because the pro is extremely unreliable.
