I stumbled onto Lion Parking when I was planning a day trip to Tijuana. I had decided to cross the border at Otay Mesa instead of San Ysidro (smart move) and needed a place to leave my car. The folks are friendly and they will take you to and pick you up from either the CBX bridge or Otay Mesa crossing as part of the parking fees. It's just a minivan but they addressed what I needed fo a fair price. The English skills may not be great with some employees but I did take Spanish in high school (LOL). And, when you call them to get picked up to return to the lot, they ask for your ticket number so they have your car pulled up ready to go (after you pay). I only needed parking for a day but it looks like they get many more longer term customers that fly out of Tijuana. read more

Spend a little more elsewhere to avoid these guys! Trust me! The drop off to the airport was fine but when I called them to pick me up after I landed was where the issue was. The office parking man was not helpful, and asked me to call the shuttle. Then shuttle told me to call back the office parking employee and to tell him he was really busy?!!! They had me playing messenger and told me they didn't know how long it would take to get picked up. I was so upset I ended up spending more money and got a taxi to get my vehicle. I have been to CBX, but the parking is expensive, complicated and a long walk through dusty parking lots. I saw LION parking and thought I would give it a try. The guys that work here are nice and helpful . They said I could take the shuttle, but the drop off is long walk. Not good if you're older and carrying luggage. I read online that they will actually drive you either in your car or theirs,right to the terminal. I asked them to do that and it was no problem. And of course I gave them a good tip because I appreciate it. Then when I get back home, I call them and they come and pick me up. Cheaper and easier than CBX and the people are good to work with. My husband and I are very disappointed on their lack of communication and service. People, PLEASE do your research (which we didn't do). We used Lion's parking on September 9th. Upon arriving, one older man came out from the office and told us we had two options: 1. Using their shuttle to take us to CBX but couldn't take us all the way in to drop us off. We would need go walk half a mile away from the entrance of cbx. Or 2. To use our vehicle to take us all the way in to drop us off at the front. He also mentioned that if we do that the 2nd one, they would be able to pick us up with our vehicle once we came back from our trip. When we got back from our trip yesterday September 12th, we called the shuttle service and this rude younger man answered. We asked if they can pick us up with our vehicle so that way we don't have to use their shuttle and also walk half a mile at night. His response was, no he didn't have enough workers and that we would need to use their shuttle. They can only pick us up at the front of cbx only if we are "injured". So of course my husband told him on the phone that he is injured so that way they can pick us up using our vehicle. Please please please everyone, DO NOT USE THEIR PARKING SERVICE! They do not care about you at all. Find a different parking service. But please avoid them at all cost. They definitely need to work on their customer service and their communication with employees. read more

Took my car for about 12 hours of parking when going to pick up the vehicle didn't noticed this as the hit was on the passenger side. I'm not sure what they did with the vehicle to get this type of hit. They also tried to clean up there scratches on the paint but there were some still left over. This vehicle is brand new!! Pricing has gone up to a point where it does not make sense to go thru their shuttle hassle. I've used them previously and found their shuttle an inconvenience but dealt with it because the pricing made sense. Today I was quoted $14 a day. That's only $3 less per day than the CBX's Economy Parking Lot. I had planned on leaving my car there for 9 days but the savings does not make sense. Great option to CBX parking. Only drawback is that CBX curbside drop-off is not available. You have to walk from the entrance to the CBX area. The reduced cost is worth it if you are staying 3 days or more. read more

Left my car here for a week and love that they are 24/7. You leave your keys with them, which is not ideal but i get that they have to move cars around. Came home after a delayed flight around 2am and there was a very nice gentleman inside who helped me and moved my car for me. I didnt use their shuttle so I dont know what that experience is like. $11/day, didnt need to make a reservation on the Thursday I arrived. They take your keys, give you a ticket, and the whole process was super smooth. You pay at the end and they take credit cards or cash. Overall, great experience. Did my research on TikTok and Lion Parking was mentioned in the comments as being one of the best. This is my third time going to Mexico and first time driving to the border myself so I was definitely skeptical and confused on how this works when it came to looking at the reviews for these parking lot sites. I learned, if you're not going to T.J. airport, don't park at CBX, but just know Lion Parking does offer shuttle service there. I needed to go to the Otay border and Lion Parking offers complimentary shuttle service to and from Otay as well as San Ysidro borders. Never been to this part of California ever, but can tell you it's around the corner from an Amazon Warehouse in the middle of nowhere and seems a little sketch, but I'm happy to report it's not sketch. I arrived in this gravel lot next to a junkyard and slowly pulled in and was directed to park in a designated spot. A guy with a clipboard introduced himself, wrote down my car make and model, the time I arrived, said the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes, gave me a ticket and circled the phone number I needed to call for them to pick me up when I arrived at the border. The shuttle ride took about 10 minutes and we were dropped of at the cul-de-sac leading up to the border and we walked over to the Mexico side. The rate was $9 a day and I was supposed to be there for 24 hours, but the event I was at went a little longer than expected and the wait to walk across the border was 2 hours (got in line at 4:45 p.m. on a Saturday), so my car was there for about 30 hours. I was charged $18 total. I took one star off because they quoted us 15 minutes until they got to the 7-11 to pick us up and were a bit late and that area is sketch, BUT we made it back to the car before the sun went down, in one piece and my car was intact and waiting for me at the front of the lot when I got there. I would definitely use this lot again if I was going to Mexico for the weekend and recommend it to others. read more

We used Lion parking for 8 days after traveling from the cbx to Cancun on vacation. These guys were awesome! They're only $11 per day versus the $15 plus per day at cbx. We drove up gave them our keys got a shuttle to the cbx. Just an FYI there is a little bit of a hike from where they drop you off to walk to the cbx. They do not drop you off at the door. It took us about 12 to 13 minutes to walk from where the shuttle dropped us off to the front door. Not a big deal. Just so you know in case you're not rolling your suitcases and carrying things. The guys checking me and we're awesome. The shuttle drivers were great. I had an issue with my credit card and that was handled immediately. I will use Lion parking lot again. Prior to our flight to Mexico, I called to confirm that I could leave my car at Lion Parking. The person that I spoke to said that I could leave my car and that a shuttle would take my family to the airport. Upon returning, we could call the number on the back of the card we would be given. The person asked when we'd be leaving (the following morning) and even joked about the time frame, "so we will see you in about 8 hours?". I felt relieved that my family had secured a parking spot. Imagine my anxiety and frustration the next morning when we arrived. We allowed sufficient time to navigate the airport. However, my family and I were shooed away by an unhelpful attendant at Lion Parking. All he could say was "No parking. No parking." At no point were we warned or told that spots were limited. In fact, Lion Parking's website boasts that "our big lot means space is not a concern". It's a lie. We were fortunate enough to find a space at Siempre Parking. Thank goodness for them! read more

Just park at CBX!! Their prices went up to $14 a day and they drop you off in the middle of the road which is way past the Parking lot E at CBX which is $3 more a day. I think this can be very dangerous if you are traveling alone, especially if your a female. A few years ago they used to drop you off & pick you up right in the front along with the Ubers & Lyfts. Great place to park if you're using CBX. They valet park your car so you do have to leave your keys with them, but we didn't have any problems. They have a mini van shuttle which takes you to CBX, and they picked us up at CBX within 15 minutes of us returning. *The deduction for one star is because they advertise $8 per day, and we parked for 7 days which should have been $56, but they charged us $63 which doesn't add up.* read more

Lion Parking is a great place to park your car when you go on vacation and you will be traveling thru the CBX to fly out of Tijuana BC airport. Affordable prices plus they take you in a van to the CBX as a courtesy. We have used their services many times. I highly recommend. They are open 24/7. Your vehicle is secure. The only downside about it is that when they pick you up from from your return flight, you have to walk several blocks. If you are traveling with children or seniors it might be an inconvenience. Or if its raining or bad weather you will have to walk out to Siempre Viva St. to the area that they specify you will be picked up. read more

Worst long term parking company ever!! After researching how we were going to park at the airport, we decided we would go with Lion Parking. Our flight was leaving so early from TJ, we didn't want to risk trying to get an Uber. Their website said 24/7, etc- and that you don't need reservations because they'll never run out of parking, etc- figured that would be a safe place to go with! When we arrived at the facility the morning of our flight, we couldn't find the entrance or a person to talk to so I called the phone number on the sign. Luckily someone answered- but the person on the other end said they weren't taking any cars?!! Not a very nice way to find out you don't have anywhere to park!! Why would you NOT share that information with your customers and put that on your website? Needless to say we weren't very happy and had to figure out parking at the last minute. I hate leaving bad reviews but... this was my first time using CBX and it took a lot of convincing to talk my husband into trying it to save money going to Puerto Vallarta. So I had every detail planned including parking. After we got to San Diego from Phoenix we stopped by the afternoon before our trip just to make sure we knew where Lion parking was and asked the guy working there if we could park our car at 4am.. SURE NO PROBLEM he said.. Famous last words!! We got there 4am and gate is locked!! Called their number went to voicemail 3 times! THANK GOD I always have a plan B so I called the next lot saved on my Yelp list and they were open. It was just a 5 minute drive to the other lot and they saved the day! :) I'll be post a positive review for the other lot shortly, Lion parking is probably ok as long as you only need to park 9-5 ugh! read more

They make you walk all the way out of CBX and wait 30 minutes to an hour for your pick up so if your the pick up location by 11pm these guys purposely wait till 12pm too pick you up so they can charge you for the whole day the next day even though it was their fault they were making you wait for their pick up read more

Great place to park your car. Fast, free shuttle to Otay Mesa border crossing, everyone working there was super nice. Very reasonable prices, I think it was $36.00 for four days? Make sure you plan to cross at Otay and not San Ysidro. Totally worth it though--made our trip to Valle de Guadalupe much easier, because we didn't have to worry about the border wait in the car on the way back. read more

This place is a lifesaver!! Had to take an emergency trip to Mexico and CBX parking was full. I dropped off my car, got into the shuttle and was off the CBX to get dropped off in under 20 mins! The shuttle was leaving as I was about to request my parking ticket to leave my car and the guy quickly got on the phone to ask the shuttle to come back. 2 days later picking me up was so quick, friendly and safe It's the only spot we're parking from now on.
