After a bit, a worker came to collect cash from parking customers. Why didn't they foresee that in the beginning? Perhaps the museum & this company don't talk to each other. It would be run more efficiently if they did communicate and plan for a graduation crowd or any other event. At least there are a lot of parking spaces available!

The parking lot is one way in and one way out. You pay an attendent when you arrive. The day I went in July 2020 the fee was $10 flat. Cash only. But I would be surprised if they didn't take a credit card if you asked. The parking lot is large and spaces are wide. No RV's or oversized vehicles.

I have been parking there on and off for years. periodically for many years. It takes you very close to many of the restaurants in the Gaslamp. The price changes depending on the events downtown, but, if it is quieter time, you can park all evening for $5. Most recently, I parked there for a Yelp event. I parked there knowing that we could be parked for several hours for only $5. It was really convenient, just a few blocks away for the venue. You use your credit card to get both in and out. On one hand, it feels a bit intrusive to use your card that way, but, on the other hand, it takes away the chance that you might lose your ticket resulting in paying more. I did find it a bit littered when I was there, which was surprising, as it wasn't a very busy evening. However, I would still continue to park there to get parking for reasonable prices.

On the way back we met the sweet driver Patty who was amazing with everyone. We also were greeted upon arrival and on our departure by their manager Richard who was awesome. Plenty of parking indoor. Seating area available while waiting for the Shuttle seating is available but limited. Their desk / lobby area was clean well kept. They offer cold / room temp water bottles, coffee and hot coco machine as well as teas available for those who don't like coffee. Our car was safe while we went on a cruise. Look forward to using them in the future. Full disclosure i had an issue with a driver, martin H but i did address it with Richard who was very attentive and addressed the issue immediately.

I made the reservation through Way.com. 2 days before my trip I received an email from Way.com telling me they have moved my parking to the Laurel Travel. Huh? I didn't know these two parking garages had any connection. The Aladdin is much nicer and their shuttle goes to the airport often, every 15 minutes I believe. The Laurel's shuttle does not go as often and is in terrible condition. I called Way.com and told them I did not want to be changed to the Laurel. After 10 minutes on hold the agent came back on saying I had been switched back to Aladdin and I should have a new confirmation email. I did. A few days later when I tried to enter the Aladdin garage with my new QR code, the gate would not open. So I pulled a ticket and parked. When I returned from my trip I attempted to again scan the QR code I was given. No luck, so I had to use a credit card to exit. Back home, I called Way.com and explained everything that happened. Between getting the receipt sent and gaining approvals was another 30 minutes on the phone. I finally got the refund, well most of it. My refund was for $114.50 but was charged $115.00 at the exit. Where's the 50 cents? For some odd reason it was put in a Waybucks account that was created for me. 50 cents is not worth arguing about but I'll mention it here. My biggest beef is that Way.com caused this by unilaterally switching me to a different location without asking me, they just did it.

We purchased our parking ticket over a month in advance. Upon arrival, we were told they regularly oversell parking spaces and there was no room available to park. They refer you to neighboring lots, but those lots were also full and the traffic is so locked up you just sit for long periods of time burning up your entire gas tank. As a result of the mess, we missed the first half hour of our show at the Shell. On the first pass, the driveway was blocked off and an employee waved us off, yelled follow that car (in front of us), and just walked away, refusing to explain the situation to us. We thought we were at the wrong entrance. Because of the large crowds for both Petco and the Shell that night, the traffic was excessive and parking was full at most lots. DO NOT assume because you purchased a parking space you will be able to use it! Also, do not expect a refund on site. They refer you to their website. Ace parking has no care for keeping their word and contractual obligation for paid spaces. They should be shut down. They actually sell spaces they have no intention of providing. Who does business this way? I smell legal action in their future.

We came a little after they open the stores here so there was a lot of parking. This location does not accept cash so be aware of that. You'll pay by card only and some places here can help validate your ticket. They had decent amount of parking spaces and it's wide enough to open your door especially if you have a baby in a car seat with you. If you have a big, wide truck then it might be an issue. We didn't stay here long and since I got a drink from a store here, they validated my parking pass which I saved a decent amount instead of paying full price.

We made a reservation online, used the discount code and scanned the QR code to get into the parking garage. I have noticed cheaper options in parking but WallyPark does offer rewards points for previous reservations so I'll consider that first. I'd recommend downloading their app so you can get to your reservation QR code easier for getting into/out of their garage. Also, the app shows where their shuttle is so when we waited to get picked up around 4pm on a Sunday (which seemed long btw), I could see where the shuttle was. They first went to the Terminal 1 and then by the time they came to Terminal 2, it was almost full so some people had to wait longer for the next shuttle. I'd suggest for them to have 2 going at all times to catch the stragglers.
