We keep our dryer as clean as possible, always cleaning the filter and vacuuming the inside of the dryer once a month. Once a year we clean the outside vent with our vacuum but didn't really see a lot of lint. Nevertheless felt we should get a professional service to make sure all was well. Another five-star experience. Hubby and I have used Lint Busters in every house we have owned -- and even one which we rented for 2.5 years -- since moving to the LV Valley in 1997. Father and son just left. $115 for cash; $120 if you pay by check. Family-owned and operated. Lynn (wife) answers the phone and schedules appointments. Usually, father and son handle the work although Lynn sometimes goes to the appointments as well. When this house was a year old, we had them out. After doing their thing, they told us that this house wouldn't need them again for four years because of the way the dryer is vented. So, four years later, we had them out. Today, father said, "You clean your filter after every use; I can tell. Keep doing that and you won't need us again for five years." In the house we rented in Solera Anthem, they fixed the existing problem and then told us that they would never be needed there again because it was a short and straight shot directly outside. In our Sun City Anthem house, we were on an every-other-year schedule. But our first house, they came out annually. It's based on how direct the route from the dryer to the outside (or something like that). The evidence that LINT BUSTERS is honest is how they say "You don't need us very often here because ... " He just told us that we won't need them again for five years!! That's integrity. I cannot recommend LINT BUSTERS highly enough. Have them out once to be safe.
