However, on our most recent visit, we discovered that half of our dishes were dry and partially inedible. The main issue with our to-go order was the ribs. For my kids, I ordered the BBQ ribs. At least half were too dry and tough to eat without posing a choking risk. For myself, I placed an order for the gluten-free sweet and sour ribs. Mine were at least 3/4 too dry to eat, to the point I was trying to drink water while chewing in order to get the meat soft enough to swallow. It just wasn't worth the risk or pain in my jaw so I ended up throwing away most of the two rib orders. My husband's fish and chips were fine, as well as the cucumber salad, edamame, and a grilled cheese I also ordered for the kids. I was planning on ordering from Beach Wok a second night, but with the prices as high as they are and our bad experience a few nights earlier, I decided against it.
