I've been eating here for 17 years. I know what it used to taste like. Recently order 2 main dishes, several orders of dumplings, crab wontons, and Lo mein. The sauces are thin and flavorless now. The crab wontons tasted stale and rubbery like fried ahead. The wontons have changed shape a look like they are from H-Mart. Not what I expected from my former favorite spot. While spicy, it wasn't all too flavorful in terms of all of the ingredients in it. The price also felt a bit high as well. My partner echoed that sentiment when it came to her Black & White Tonkotsu. When we tried the boba, we enjoyed the flavor of the tea. We were immediately met with disappointment however when the actual boba was tasteless. Good texture, but quite literally tasteless. Would we come again? It certainly wouldn't be on the forefront of our minds. However with cold weather and a lack of other ramen options nearby, we may give it a shot down the road. Though I certainly feel like making the trip to Jinya would be better time spent.
