a plate of chinese food

First time ordering here: Food was not seasoned well for a Chinese food... flavorless. Swimming in grease: Rangoon, shrimp toast, and egg rolls. The sesame balls tasted like it had a strong pungent/flavor/odor similar to chemically reacting baking soda with vinegar. We will not be ordering or going back there again.

General tsao beef

Came by for lunch. We ordered shrimp and vegetables, beef and broccoli and general tsao beef lunch. The general tsao was fair, beef and broccoli was not so great meat had weird consistency. The shrimp and vegetables was very good. The shrimp were large and tasted fresh. The person taking our order was very kert. She did not greet us, smile or appear at all interested in helping us. Her phone manners were even worse. We will continue to look elsewhere for Chinese food.

Worm

I ordered the beef with broccoli and rice. As I took a bite I look down my plate and see a WORM crawling out of it. I took it back and the guy at the cashier just told me he didn't know what it was and just smashed the worm with his fingers. I've never felt so grossed out. Never eating here again

I find this in my Egg Foo Young last night

I found a damn bug in my Egg Foo Young. I'm very disappointed. I couldn't even eat the rest of my food. The sight of seeing that bug literally made me sick to my stomach I have to throw up

Not fresh. The rice was left over from several days ago. Price was good, but old dry rice is just unacceptable.

Disgusting food. I found a maggot and a roach in my food. I told the manager but they wouldn't replace my meal. I will never go there again.

Considering this is Plant City, and not chinatown, I think the food here is pretty good. Always hot and prepared quickly.

Great takeout! Food is always fresh with consistent taste. Best Chinese take-out in the city!

We were in town and decided to have Chinese food for lunch. Found this place nearby and decided to…read moretry it out. Overall we were sadly disappointed. The gal working the counter seemed uninterested and couldn't even feign a smile. The interior itself was bleak, with faded signage above the counter and a few wooden tables and chairs around the perimeter. But we were not here to make friends with staff or have a romantic dinner, we were here for the food, but still... I ordered the General Tsao chicken and the better half ordered the Sesame Chicken; with an order of pork wontons to split. The food came out hot and fresh, albeit bagged into to-go containers even though we were dining in. The food was not hateful, just average. Albeit both dishes had ample chicken pieces, they were kind of large overall; especially in the Sesame Chicken. My General Tsao had ZERO heat to it (and they advertise it as having heat). It was actually on the sweeter side, like an Orange Chicken would be. We decided to taste test each others dishes and the taste was nearly identical, hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why. The side of yellow "pork" fried rice that came with the main entrees was palatable, but nothing great with tiny pieces of pork hidden within it and some not fully cooked pieces of onion. The pork fried wontons were actually fairly decent, but the sweet & sour dipping sauce was straight up from a bottle. I usually consume all my Chinese food in one sitting, but since it wasn't very fulfilling I packed up half of it to go. I later ate the other half for dinner, after spicing it up with some red pepper which helped make it pop. I doubt we will ever eat here again, but if we do for some reason I'll update this review of two stars (it could've been better).
