Amy did such an amazing job for my wedding. Through Wedgewood at Eagle Ridge, I met Amy from Linny's Floral Design. I came in with a tropical theme but I didn't want it over the top, something simple and elegant. In my first meeting with Amy, I was able to share a vision I was looking for and Amy immediately knew what I wanted. By the second time we met, she shared some thoughts and images via Pinterest that were spot on to what I was asking for and was on her way with planning her master pieces! When it came time for our wedding, I was so impressed with the decor and bouquets. Amy took my scattered thoughts and brought it all together to create a beautiful setting. The bouquets were beautiful with big tropical leaves, white anthuriums and orchids. The reception decor was perfect with matching center pieces and a cake table covered in big tropical leaves for our cake. And the sweetheart table, OMG - SO BEAUTIFUL! I used Amy bc she was the recommended by Wedgewood Eagle Ridge. After reading a few of the reviews it seems to be the same issue, not getting what you asked for. This is more of a 2.5 star review than 2, but not high enough for a 3. She is really nice & we communicated a lot via email. She creates a Pinterest board & you basically pin ideas. Simple enough right??? Nope. Here is a list of things I asked for & did not get - 1. My bouquet was supposed to be a cascading style. Even put pictures of the look I wanted. Well I got a pretty classic style bouquet that was not a cascading style. 2. The boutonnières were supposed to be wrapped in brown twine. Nope. They were wrapped in some type of green tape. 3. My dessert table was supposed to have extra greenery that I paid extra for, but I did not see any of it. My bouquet also had a giant pin that I didn't notice poking out & it pokd me. Made me bleed. She also delivered the bouquets in water. Which I get to keep them fresh, but they didn't arrive until 30 mins before the ceremony, so we were holding wet bouquets for a bit. Idk whose fault that was, but I was upset they were wet bc some of my BMs got their dresses wet. Overall things still looked nice, but I had a vision for a wedding. Sent her pictures & she said she understood. The invoice even said "WRAP WITH BROWN TWINE", "CASCADING BRIDAL BOUQUET", so where was the mixup there?? If you can use another florist, I would recommend that bc there is obviously a lack of understanding on her part even with a Pinterest board with concise pictures. read more

I couldn't have asked for better ceremony floral! Amy made what I envisioned into reality! My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding ceremony and reception due to the pandemic. Amy was lovely and accommodating. She understood what was going on in the wedding industry wasn't easy, and offered great suggestions in a caring way. All my florals turned out great on my wedding day at Wedgewood Eagle Ridge. Amy got my colors down perfectly (purples and plums, with ivory and greenery mixed in). My only suggestion is to meet with clients in person, as without actually meeting with Amy I was unsure of how it would turn out. However, it did end up being totally fine, and everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were. read more

I hired her for my wedding. She was nice, but the flowers seemed half-effort. She said she could be there to help turn over the ceremony to the reception but she wasn't. I didn't see her all day. The bridesmaid flowers were literally a few sticks of leaves. The groomsmen boutonnières were so awful (crazy leaves sprawling out everywhere) that they threw them in the trash before we began. The groom basically rearranged his whole boutonnière himself last minute and took off everything extra. I asked for foresty-looking moss covering the tables and there was like a 3 inch by 3 inch square off moss on each table. I also asked for flowers to cover our arch and there were none. Just a few pathetic strands of green leaves. I thought I could trust her style and vision but it seemed like on my wedding she just cut corners to make more of a profit. It was the biggest letdown of my day. read more

I hate to give a small business a bad review, but I really did have a poor experience with Amy. I showed her my pinterest board full of my wedding floral ideas and met her in person as well just to make sure we were both on the same page. We went over the pictures on my pinterest board one by one and then she created her own pinterest board of what we discussed and then adjusted her original estimate to include what we talked about. One of the things we wanted for our centerpieces were wooden lanterns with flowers all around them. Amy was only able to find black lanterns if I remember correctly, so we ended up finding wooden ones ourselves that we really liked at Kirklands Home Goods. The first issue we had with her was that she was really flaky picking up these lanterns. I believe it was about 3 times that she flaked out on getting them. Then on my wedding day, there were many things that we paid for and did not receive, or got something completely different than what we asked for. For example, the floral around the lanterns were a few petals, when we had agreed on what the floral would look like. I attached a picture for reference. We also had 8 wooden signs I made and asked for seeded eucalyptus to be draped on top of it, and we only got 2 signs with floral and it wasnt even eucalyptus and it was draped over the side instead of on top. The rest of the signs were bare. I also attached a picture for reference. Then my mom had asked for a surprise for me, and Amy was supposed to bring buckets of flowers that were to be placed at the ceremony entrance. That did not show up at all. The bridal bouquet was barely different than the bridesmaids bouquets yet I paid much more for it (but the bouquets were beautiful, just no different than the brides), and the grooms bouttaneire was also not what we asked for. I do think Amy is a kind and talented florist, but I am sorry I picked her for my wedding because thats not what she showed us that day. Granted, she did give us our money back after multiple emails of asking her for a refund and she did a phenomenal job of decorating the ceremony arch. I recommended many of my other vendors to my newly engaged friends, but will not recommend Linnys Floral in the future. read more

We had a phone consultation where she asked what we wanted and discussed the wedding colors. We also had a shared Pinterest board where I saved what I wanted and she also showed the different options we had. We got mostly greenery. My Bouquet was beautiful and she did the break away bouquet (were it breaks up into 6 smaller bouquets). I also had asked her for Eucalyptus for the guest tables and we got way more than we expected. I got married through eagle ridge in gilroy. Their florist vendor was Libby's floral design. Amy was very polite but most of the time I emailed her I never got a response. Not sure if it went go her spam email but It was very annoying. I showed her pictures of what I wanted on my wedding day. I will post the pictures as reference and I got something completely different. I felt the flowers were very pricy but it was a rushed job. Not what I expected on my wedding day. If you happened to be booking your wedding with Wedgewood Eagle Ridge, do not choose their floral options as their "curated" vendor for florist is terrible. Not much was included in our Emerald package and at the same time, the florist had us upgrade to get flower girl petals, ceremony floor petals, and centerpieces. We showed the florists the ideas we wanted, but it did not transform to the $1K additional upgrade. Everything was magical about our wedding, but the lack of quality with the florist was definitely noticed. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but definitely a let down. read more

For my wedding, we decided to go through Linny's mostly because we had won a free throwable bouquet from our time at an event for Wedgewood. That being said, I was wonderfully surprised with how awesome Linny's was with our arrangements. The flowers were perfect, none had shown signs of wilting or disease. They were large, and definitely gave us our money's worth. On top of that, they arrived on time and lived for quite some time even after our wedding. My wife's bouquet was beautiful as was my flower. Linny's Floral Design provided all the flowers for our wedding in September 2018. The bouquets, boutonnieres, arch decor, table centerpiece, and sweet heart table garland. Everything turned out beautifully! We had a peacock feather/color themed wedding - Amy was more than accommodating to help incorporate peacock feathers into our centerpieces, boutonnieres, and bouquets and captured the purple, turquoise, and green flowers that matched perfectly with our theme. I cannot express how absolutely thrilled I was with the floral design Amy provided at our recent September wedding at Wedgewood at Eagle Ridge! To start with, to say that I am picky is an understatement, I had a very distinct vision for every aspect of the floral and she totally nailed it! I upgraded the Gold package to add various elements including specific flowers that I was set on that were out of season that she managed to find and was worth every penny. *The upgrades were very reasonably priced as well I would note. Upon our first meeting I showed Amy pictures of the burgundy ombre rustic look I wanted with tons of greenery and textures that played into fall colors. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the names of all the unique flowers and greenery that I wanted which was super comforting when in the midst of wedding planning stress mode. Amy was so sweet and very quick to reply to my countless number of emails and calls. The centerpieces, large ceremony pieces, our sweetheart table garland, and bouquets were stunning! We asked her to make the guys boutonnieres out of bullet casing shells which she did without hesitation and they added such a cool touch. Our cake turned out perfect with fresh floral cascading down and Amy even left extra greenery complimentary per my request to add to each menu napkin fold. I am so thankful that Amy was recommended to us because she truly brought the vision I had to life and helped make our wedding the wedding of our dreams. I was absolutely in Love withthe job Amy did with my centerpieces. My wedding was October 13th at Wedgewood Eagle Ridge country club and it was a Great Gatsby theme. Although, Amy said she never did a Gatsby theme before....she knocked it out of the park!!!! Everyone love the centerpieces and wanted to take them home. My daughter just had to most amazing wedding at Eagleridge. Everything was perfect except the flowers. It was a surprise as everything was detailed in an email as to what they were going to do for us. First bouquets were purple and should have been blue and white with blue ribbon. No blue ribbon. Groomsmen boutonnieres fell apart before wedding even started, as did the Mothers flowers. Mother of the grooms flowers fell apart before she stepped out of the room. The fathers boutonniere had a mini rose. The bride asked to have rose petals neatly line the isle, couldn't even do this right and scattered them. After a few conversations she offered to give us some of our money back. Never saw it. Credit card company finally took care of that for us. Amy was super sweet and excited when we first met. We had our wedding through Wedgewood and she was their florist. Her shop was under construction so we couldn't meet there so we went to Starbucks and looked through photos. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted but I knew I wanted blush pink and white roses. And some greenery for dimension. Come day of, there's barely any pink in my bouquet. And no pink in the bridesmaids. Why would you do that!? I was so sad. They were so blah. When I say simple I don't mean boring. And too much greenery. My husbands boutonniere was pointless. I could go buy a rose bud, add leaves and pin on him. She could have at least made it more memorable. I expected more. Also I asked for some blue somehow. No blue! And it gets worse. She had promised me these gold glittery twigs to be added to my reception bouquets that I had at every table. It was supposed to be white, blush pink, and blue with gold twigs to give it that Indian party feel. Don't promise something you can't give. And our cake! She literally only provided two buds. The photo shows a grouping of 2 or 3 buds. So now my cake is dull. I hate to be that person that gives bad reviews especially since she was so sweet, but I'm sorry. Did not live up to my expectations. Wedgewood, find yourself another florist. My aunty can do better. When you put your trust in someone, especially when they've been doing wedding since forever (supposedly), you expect experience, good judgment, and artistry. Linny's Floral has done several big events for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVED the outcome of every one. On the most recent one I was really particular about going for a certain look and feel of rustic and romantic and Amy nailed it! She walked me through the process of choosing the right combo of flowers when I was feeling overwhelmed with decisions, which I appreciated so much and put my mind at ease.
