SAM OKE IS A FRAUD !!!! Stay far away ! I am not one who enjoys writing reviews , I rarely do however; i feel i was scamed by Sam. I paid him prior to him completeing my Resume,Cover Letter, Linkdin , because this is what was required to set up the service. I forwared him the Resume i created and asked for some help to make it better, Instead he only changed a Paragraph that introduces me at the top of the page and that had errors in it that I had to correct and the lanuage he uses sounds like he is a Foreigner and he uses my name as a Third person when describing my skills, I've never seen anything llike this before. Everything else on my resume he just copied from what I have already created, My verbage and all . My Linkdin profile, I hate the verbage but to top it off, He only wrote up a Word pg and told me to get into my Linkdin Acct and add it, I had to do it all myself. The Cover letter did not indicate i was open to more than one job tilte, I have a few avenues i wanted to be able to go into for different positions. I had to send my information to him via email to get this all started and in that email i asked him to call me prior to starting so i can go over a few things and he never called. After receiving a messed up Resume, etc, etc. I called him and his answering serv said they will relay the messg, but he never called me back , It took several emails before he finally repliied and said he will fix things and a week later he send me an email saying to view the changes and there were NO changes , he didn't do a thing ! This sounds unbeleivable ... but this is what i have experienced. TERRIABLE SERVICE !!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS FRAUD. read more

Please avoid at all costs, Sam resumes are subpar but more importantly does not operate professionally and stand by his money back guarantee. Once you request a refund he stops all communication then it is up to you pursue the refund. The resume written for me was average at best but was not structured to the roles I was requesting. Also, he provided me with job leads which were basically leads he dig up on job boards that I already saw most and most importantly 1/2 were at lower level than I currently was with one being relevant and the others I had little to no experience for. After sending him valid proof that I met the conditions of his refund policy Sam has decided to no longer respond to me so I am faced with writing reviews like this everywhere online that I can, file a complaint with BBB, file complaint with the CA Attorney General office that serves his Walnut, CA, file complaint with LinkedIn since he uses that to fish for clients, etc. Please avoid Sam at all costs there are much better resume services out there. read more

I never understood why I was not getting calls back for my resume. I tried all kinds of software to get keywords, used resume templates and got nothing. In 2days time Sam took what I thought was a great resume and showed me how awful it really was. Once I seen his work, I understood why I was not getting calls back. I am not sure why some have had the experience they had. What I will say is you should provide ample information on the positions you are looking for, and anything you think will help him understand where you want to take your career. I took my resume and uploaded it in all the job sites and I have two interviews already. I missed out on some positions I really wanted by not looking well on paper. Sam provided me extras to improve salary negotiation etc. It is quite a value. read more

SAM OKE is a fraudulent person. Takes your money does not issue the refund of $147 after you don't get a job in 30 days as promised. Always has new rules or stipulations when you inquire about the money. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON. THE RESUME IS NOT THE LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM HE PROMISES. LIES AND MORE LIES. I told Sam to give me the money back or I would let the world know. I have since been blocked by him on LinkedIn. I posted on LinkedIn and Facebook and low Yelp! I will find more resources to let the world know. Would have been just easier to repay my husband. Congrats Sam on ripping off another person. As you can see we are not the only ones who you have ripped off. You need Negative stars not even ONE as a rating. read more

Sam did an excellent job completely rewriting my LinkedIn profile, in addition to my resume and cover letter. The latter two he did for free. I only paid for the LinkedIn profile. Unbeknownst to me, my resume was in dire need of a rewrite and different format. The information was there but you had to read through the entire document in order to pick it out. Sam extracted all the important items and showcased them at the very beginning, the only section even looked at most of the time. My LinkedIn summary was missing much good information that was worth mentioning. Just about every single character of the 2000 limit was used. Sam also added a quote at the beginning and gave me a much catchier headline. Great job! read more

This Sam guy constantly emails me 3 times a day after I have asked him to stop at least 10 times. He therefore has no respect for others, and I would not trust this guy to do anything for me let alone trying to use his bullshit services which he will charge you for and then do nothing for you. He is your typical internet scam guy who set up an internet site with the sole purpose of sending monumental amounts of daily spam trying to find his next victim to rip off. If you need help finding a job or creating a new resume search the internet for free services provided by many government agencies or non- profit organizations instead of getting ripped off by this guy. I would have given no stars if I could. read more

I feel compelled to share my experience to caution potential customers. I have been extremely dissatisfied with the misleading information provided and the prolonged response times. I've consistently recorded instances where it took multiple days to receive a reply, resulting in an aggregate delay of over thirty days. What initially seemed like a reputable business has, unfortunately, transformed into an operation that seems to take advantage of people. If I hadn't taken the initiative to send an email yesterday, I would likely still be waiting for their response. My overall impression is that their services are falsely advertised. Please exercise caution when considering this business. read more

Nothing more than a Scam Artist. Around my office we have not nicknamed any scammer who calls Sam Oke. Sam Oke is emailing me again or when automated calls happen, we say "Sam Oke on line 2". Biggest scammer and con artist around. Do not let them near any of your professional profiles. Do not send him your resume. Do not interact with him at all. And whatever you do, do not send any financial payment whatsoever. You'll never see that money again. Do everyone a favor and make the name SAM OKE synonymous with SCAMMER! Because that's what Linked Career Growth / Career Growth Promotion is. Complete SCAM! read more

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, I can say with confidence that enlisting Sam Oke's career help is a winning bet! I've always been considered a skilled writer myself, but my recent difficulty finding a new position made me decide to give Sam a try, and the results were truly impressive. He transformed my LinkedIn profile from 'decent' to 'awesome,' and the free article he provided for me to post is already creating new opportunities. I'm very pleased with Sam's methodology and would highly recommend his assistance. He'll take your 'typical' resume or LI profile and will turn it into a work of art! read more

I am so pleased that Samir updated my linkedin profile to a professional one. He wrote my experiences and achievements in a concise manner. I liked the summary part which talks lot about my skills and experiences and the career path which I am planning to move into. Because of my new linkedin profile I got lot of interview calls and in addition to this he also gave me guidance to prepare for my interview. I am glad to recommend Samir in recreating a professional linkedin and resume which will definitely give a good career path. Thank you much appreciated for your help Samir. read more

My inbox is blasted with spam E-Mails from this individual. I have blocked dozens of the E-Mails, but keep getting more from bot generated addresses. No legitimate business has dozens of different E-Mail addresses as the front door to their services. Unsubscribe methods do not work. One of the first times I heard from this person several years ago I provided some constructive feedback. The E-Mail address this correspondence came from bounced back. Of course, there is the saying that if it appears too good to be true, it likely is read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Please, please do not fall for this scam as I did. He preys upon people who are vulnerable. Had I done a little bit of research prior to paying for his "services" I could have saved myself a lot of aggravation. If it seems "too good to be true" it is. I am utterly embarrassed that I fell for this. DO NOT purchase this service!! You will have better luck perusing others LinkedIn profiles for ideas and creating your own, plus it's free!! read more

This is a total rip off. They are attempting to gain your information to sell it to vendors who will bombard you with emails and phone calls. They will not tell their location or provide any information until you give them your private information. At this point you are disconnected unless you provide credit card information for their monthly fee. These and Sam Oke are the worst kind of thieves. The government needs to send them out of the US. read more

I used Samir to completed my Linked In profile, Not only was he very reasonable but a consummate professional. There are two ways to set up your profile: you can do it yourself and most likely do it wrong, or you can use Samir. Be smart about this. Let him complete your profile with "proven," knowledge and information that will propel you ahead of your competition. Who knows? Your perfect opportunity might be just around the corner if you do. read more

Terrible advice. His so called headline grabber had nothing to with me. I don't understand how someone can give you advice on finding a new job without talking to you about what you are looking for. The next email he sent said " your boss want you gone" in the beginning. He has never responded to my email responses. I have been unsuccessful in contacting Linkedin about him. Stay away for this guy don't waste your time. read more

Yup, complete scam. 1) I do the same thing that Sam says he does for a living and it says that on my LI profile. So, if he REALLY looked, he would know that I am a Career Counselor and Resume Writing Instructor for our Workforce Center. 2) If he's so good, why were there grammar and spelling errors in the email? Don't fall for this folks. Plenty of legitimate folks that offer the same services and do a fantastic job. read more

Sam reworked my dated resume and it looks amazing. I thought I was only getting his advice on my LI page and a resume rework, however, I got so much more! He supplied me with a banner to put on my LI profile, a cover letter, a thank you letter for interview followup, a LinkedIn Chat template and advice for interview techniques and more. I have to say that I am happy to recommend his work to anyone who needs help. read more

Sam was very helpful, and made a fantastic profile for me. It was a bargain for what he did, a resume, cover letter and linkedin content. All of the material allows me to stand out from my competition, and has a real "pop" to my overall profile. The cover letter is nice, because it has a tiny tweak so that it can be used generically, but targets who I am nicely. High praise for Sam. read more
