You don't want people for whom English is a second language to be messing up your transcript! Here is an example (on the recording was somebody reading from a paper!): transcript: "Well this maybe theoretical world maybe old too true..." actual wording: "While this may be a theoretical framework, it maybe all too true..." Pros: --Transcripts turnaround was as promised. --Emails are promptly returned, although not always with helpful information. --Relatively easy upload of audios. Cons: --Sometimes the internet connection doesn't work. But that is the smallest of all problems. --Bait and switch: I liked the job they did on my trial audio recording. It was the only transcript that I found professionally done. It seems that the transcribers are outsourced somewhere outside the U.S. My guess is India. The things the transcribers (mis)heard are unbelievable--sometimes it made no sense at all! --verbatim is not verbatim: I understand that non-native speakers can misunderstand what's being said, BUT when you receive back a transcript without the ugh-s, hmm-s, without the parasite words, the repeated words and the false starts, that is not verbatim any more. At least not how the web described what "verbatim" means. Especially toward the end of the transcript you could see how impatient the transcriber(s) become--the work is more than sloppy. Skipping an "Uh-huh!" means skipping a speaker turn! This is not acceptable! --no satisfactory quality control--I don't know how their "quality control works", but it appears to me that if the first page or two are done "well", then the transcript is good to go. Even tough it contains complete nonsense. I returned some transcripts to be re-worked and again, they were not done beyond the first few pages. E.g.: In a transcript of two females speaking, the labels were not "Interviewer"-"interviewee", but "Female Speaker". Not even a number--female speaker 1? female speaker 2? The "re-worked" transcript contained the same annoying labeling. --re-working of a transcript is done for you, if you complain, but only once. I asked the above-mentioned transcript to be reworked a second time and never heard from them again! So why am I giving them 2 stars? Because they were trying, at least some of them were.

I would often be the one checking in for updates only to go weeks without hearing anything. They helped with a business plan that had typos and they didn't consult me about the Financials. So I ended up going to score mentoring to have it redone for free.Ive been passed over to several interns thay would all promise they would be more thorough than the last. I wish I looked at the reviews concerning grants with the businesss. The aggressive replies to other customers alone should have tipped me off.If someone can't admit any fault in one of these situations than they're not open to growing. Feedback truly is a gift. My feedback would be to reach out to your customers when they get a new intern. Make monthly or atleast weekly check-ins and respond when customers email you within 72 hours time. If you're needing grant help there are tons of free resources. But I strongly wouldn't suggest investing in this company for one. I gave 2 stars cause I'm hoping it's easier to bounce back from 1 star. But I really want this to help the next person.

If you're looking for a way to waste money this is the company they will gladly take your money and leave you with broken promises. If you're a small business beware this company is a big bust go elsewhere. Sn. Some of the staff members is reaching out to customers due to the owner Juleen for none payment. She is a crook!
