June 2013 took in my 2002 explorer for a transmission flush and fill because 2002 explorers have no dip stick to check tranny fluid. While there they came to me and said I needed brakes and they could do them now for 900 bucks. Well I am not stupid so I did not pay for that , told them I would do them later. Fast forward to April 2015 my left front brake is making noise. I assume they are worn out because of the ford dealer. I buy all new rotors and pads and tear it down. The rattle was from a bad clip on the front brake pad. It didn't need pads or rotors a year and a half after they tried to charge me 900 bucks. Do not trust this shop read more

If possible, I would leave negative stars. RUN FAR AWAY as fast as you can from this "dealer". I was trying to purchase a new Jayco RV remotely from Link. After moving towards a sale, I was informed that "actually, the RV was "lightly used by a people we know. Basically it is new! You are getting a great deal on a new trailer" Stupidly, I trusted them and continued to work on a deal for almost 2 weeks during which I was repeatedly lied to, ignored, misled, and treated horribly. It would be one thing if it were only the salesperson (Dave Carlson) but the General sales manager (Mark Neaman) was EVEN WORSE! They lied, argued, ignored facts, twisted words doing everything to "book a sale" at all costs. They tried to sell a misrepresented product at a premium prices to a remote buyer who had no recourse once the unit was shipped and they did this knowingly. Luckily I checked/double checked EVERYTHING catching them in their own lies. They were not smart enough to keep track of the lies themselves. No joke- these folks lied to me 50% of the time , held my full payment ($25000.00) for over 5 days all whilst trying to take advantage and force a sale (thank god I used a protected credit card). My wife (a lawyer) wanted to take them to court as a purchase order and payment held for more than 48 hours can constitute a legal sale/binding contract. I should have listened to her but literally could not believe that such greedy and unscrupulous people existed. Mark kept acting like they were angels until the exact moment when he was directly confronted with their lies in plain text and could not deny them further (I sent photos of the actual misleading texts and emails). Not once did he offer an explanation, truly apologize or attempt to compromise. This guy is a peach (from hell). Once he realized that they were caught, he then tried to tell me that HE decided not to go through with the deal as he felt it was in my best interest to buy something closer to our home blah blah blah". HE DECIDED! What a laugh! I probably should take some of the blame for trying to save a few bucks but no one deserves to be treated like this. No one. Anyway, I sincerely hope this advice saves someone from going through the wasted time, frustration, and disrespect I had to endure for weeks. These people are some of the worst people I have ever come across and not just in car sales. As a physician, I would never treat a patient like this. Morally it would be wrong and I could not live with myself. Further, the fear of losing my license due to malpractice would also dissuade me. It is too bad that dealers are not licensed because I am sure that these con-men would have been out of a job long ago. Please take my advice and stay away from these folks at all costs. I you feel that you MUST (for whatever reason) deal with them, get everything in writing, double and triple check EVERYTHING, and be prepared for the dealer to cancel the deal and run after trying to take advantage of you once you catch them as they are even more cowardly than unscrupulous. If I can help one person to avoid these charlatans, then this review is worth it (I don't usually write these reviews). I cannot bear the thought of another trusting individuals falling victim to these evil predators. These people make the proverbial "used car salesmen" look like saints. Link Ford is a joke! Seriously, it has to be the absolute worse car dealership anywhere in the world. I hear their crappy ads on the radio all the time and vowed to never to business with them for that fact alone, but unfortunately they wound up having the exact used suv on their lot I had been searching for. Here's a quick recap of my visit. I was on the lot for over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there. The creepy sales guy who finally came out to help me was more interested in getting me inside the dealership to "get my info" than actually showing me the vehicle and allowing me to take it for a test drive. Again, I should have left, but it was the exact vehicle I had been searching for. So I played along and went inside. I came to find out that "getting my info" was just their clever way of running my credit. I'm guessing that they try to qualify their customers with a quick credit check. Those with low credit scores probably don' follow the same process as folks with good credit. I know my score is high, I wouldn't allow them to run my credit because I had zero intention of using them for a loan. FYI, is they ask for your social security number, they're going to pull your credit. Every time someone pulls your credit your score drops slightly, so don't let them do it untl your ready to buy and would like them to help you get a loan. Ok, so now me and this ramrod sales guy head back out on the lot for my test drive. Here's how it went. 1. battery was dead. 2. once he jumped it and it started, it was clear that the gas tank was empty. 3. it had not been cleaned before they put it on the lot. it seriously smelled like their were dirty crap filled diapers under every seat. 4. it shaked horribly it down the the road. I know it only need a tire balanced, but they obviously overlooked it on their inspection, if they did one, as required by wisconsin law. We got back to the lot and the freaking sales guy asked me to go inside to "do some numbers". Are you freaking kidding me? He was with the whole time, could he not tell this was the worst test drive ever? Maybe it's the norm at their dealership for everything to go so crappy. The more I think about it, I know that's it. I told him I needed to get going, and he got upset with me. I think he felt I owed him something for his time. He said he wanted to get his manager so he could say hi to me. Do you really think I wanted to meet the guy who trained him? I bet that dude is a real treat. He was so good at being horrible that they promoted him to teach others how to be an idiot. Link Ford sucks. Don't go there, even if they have what you want. And one last thing...you know the thing you get in the mail from them about every other week? The one promoting a "big sale"? Telling you that they'll give you $5000 over KBB on your trade or something like that? Where do you think that extra money comes from? They have the prices of their cars all jacked up so they can "show" you more for your trade. Come on people, their not really giving you extra money, they'd go out of business. Finally, ask to see a list of the people who win the grand prizes from the mail piece. I guarantee there is no winner. Everyone gets the cheapest prize they offer. But seriously, ask them about it. It really pisses them off. I don't think they like it when they know that someone has their b.s. figured out. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Since I was old enough to drive I've been buying my vehicles from Link Ford and RV. I've had nothing but great customer service and quality in the cars that I've bought. When buying my last car Bob briski helped us choose one for our growing family. I really felt like he cared about the safety of the car for us and not just making a sale.
