So I was in a wreck in 2019 & originally I signed paper work with Jim Adler. Maybe 2 months later, I was sent a letter by these attorneys saying they were now over my case. Cool. I don't hear from them too often. I have to call them every time I want an update on my case. I remember I called them maybe a 1 year after the incident & they told me that the opposing counsel offered me money but I would only get $1000. So I don't take it. They never tell me how much they offered so idk. Well 3 years later, we're in mediation & the mediator says "blah blah blah you're not going to get the $65000 like they offered first" ... excuse tf outta me? Apparently, the offered me $65000 the first time & I was only going to get $1000! RIP OFF! We finally settle at $46000 & I have to pay EVERYBODY! Link & Associates, Jim Adler (for what? Idk), I have to pay a "finders fee" when they didn't find anything; I gave them EVERYTHING they found, mediator, etc. I knew I should've chose another law firm when the person over my case kept switching. but hopefully this will be the last time I have to use these people! Or a law firm period.
The attorneys are very entitled. & the other workers are rude as hell. Joe, who was the guy over my settlement, was probably the rudest. I told him & McGillberry that I would come & pick my check up, I called them every week because I was told it would take 5-6 weeks & it took 12 weeks for my check to be issued. But I told him that I would come to pick my check up because I had moved 10 minutes away from them. Instead of him calling me & saying "hey your check is ready" he mails it so now I have to wait for my check to get delivered to me! I thought attorneys were supposed to work for their clients but they work for money because McGillberry took his family overseas as soon as I was done with mediation. Which isn't a problem but you take your family overseas & the whole time, I'm at home struggling to pay for stuff?
I wouldn't recommend this law firm! read more
