We knocked down a wall, moved all the plumbing, and even had some challenging exterior brick work from filling in a window and it looks great. Our before and after photos speak for themselves! We shopped around before choosing NJ Kitchens and Baths & now that everything is finished, we're confident we made the right choice. Everyone else made us feel as though it would be a job they would have to squeeze in or barely gave us the time of day. A few gave us price quotes that were so low we knew that we would end up with huge surprise costs at the end, or so high that we figured they just didn't want to bother. She intuitively picked out materials that appealed to us, including the tile, countertops, custom cabinetry, and fixtures. Along with Brian, the estimator, she came up with an ingenious use of the existing small space for an expanded walk-in shower and vanity area. Zoriana created a CAD rendering of the project, so we were able to clearly visualize what it will look like. Monks met our budget, and we are excited to proceed with the job. I initially engaged Rene to assist us with getting cabinets for a kitchen remodel. I was certain…read morewhat I wanted, having renovated three kitchens before, and was having difficulty finding precisely what we were looking for - or at least finding it for a reasonable price. We used the Decora cabinets Rene suggested, and we are thrilled with them. The quality of the cabinets is just about as good as any you could buy, and our contractor remarked more than once how well they were made, as well as how perfect the finish is. When one cabinet arrived damaged by the shipper, Rene got us a replacement in very little time to keep the project on schedule. We also had a custom range hood made, and found Decora super easy to deal with in terms of price and time. Beyond helping us get exactly what we wanted (and completely within budget), Rene's suggestions and ideas from a design perspective brought our project to another level.
