Unfortunately, my experience with the service department was the exact opposite. They came across as uninterested and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. If you work in customer service, making customers feel welcome should be part of the job. A few days after my purchase, I received a text asking for feedback about my visit. I didn't hold back--I explained exactly how disappointing my first experience had been. Within minutes, I received a phone call from someone at the store who genuinely wanted to understand what happened. That immediately got my attention. I explained that I had driven over two hours because I had previously made an online purchase that went perfectly, and it gave me enough confidence to visit the store in person. I also shared my concerns about how I was treated by the parts department. He listened, apologized, and told me he would bring the issue to management because he genuinely cared about making things right. To me, that's what great customer service looks like. Anyone can make a mistake, but not every business takes the time to listen, follow up, and address a customer's concerns. On top of that, they have competitive prices and a great selection in stock. Because of the way they handled my feedback, I wouldn't hesitate to make the two-hour drive again. Hopefully, the service department improves, because the rest of the experience and especially the way management responded earned my respect.

Being a new rider can be an intimidating thing when trying to pick the safest gear you can but the guys here know what they sell and know what works best for each persona needs. February I purchased a top of the line Shoei neotec3 helmet with Sena Srl3 ( they installed free ) and it's been a fantastic helmet. Recently my helmet started getting harder and harder to close the modular portion as well as the shield. I called the guys at Speed Addicts and they said to come on down and they would check it out. After the long drive, I got here and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling, friendly people. I explained my concern and immediately Tony and Alex started working on my issues. Within a few minutes they figured out my helmet needed a slight adjustment on the cam gears and just like that, my helmet was back to new condition as far as function. They wouldn't take money so the next best thing is to let everyone know how great the guys here are and how they live up to the reviews and videos online. I came in expecting this shop to stand out by having common sizes ready to buy that day, but almost every helmet I wanted to try was not available in a medium, and the same thing happened with riding gear in common sizes. The inventory screen on the wall was a cool idea, but it felt more gimmicky than useful because it was not very intuitive and did not even bring up a keyboard when trying to search. I ended up needing an employee anyway. Once someone finally came over, he was helpful, answered questions, and helped me confirm sizing. The bigger problem was the store experience. Three employees were behind the counter when I walked in and no one greeted me. The motocross gear section was also messy, with random sizes and colors mixed together, and multiple items falling off hangers just from touching them. The dressing room was also weak: no mirror and not much privacy. Overall, decent visit, but not enough to bring me back. This place has potential, but service, organization, and better stock in common sizes would make a big difference.

Always love the quality and sound, but that has changed today. I bought a 2022 Harley Davidson Ultra, brand new from Fort Wayne Harley Davidson back in 2022. I still have my 2004 Harley Davidson Fatboy - with a Vance & Hines exhaust system, which seems to still be near perfect, despite having over 50,000 miles on it. When I bought my ultra, I knew exactly what exhaust system I wanted to put on it. There was no question in my mind that it was going to be Vance & Hines. I rarely ride the Ultra, and typically only take it out when my wife and I want to take a scenic cruise through the country, or a trip to the lake. I still ride my FLSTFI or Sporty 95% of the time. The Ultra has less than 5000 miles on it - and doesn't get taken out when I know it's going to rain, and is still in pristine condition otherwise. It's very clear that the motorcycle is not abused, nor is it ever left out in the weather, but I noticed about a month ago that there was a rust spot on the side of the right side slip on (Left side is perfect, so that tells me that there might've just been an issue with the finish application on this side). The bike is and has been in a garage, with three other motorcycles, 90% of its life. There is no reason for a rust spot to develop on this exhaust with so few miles unless the product was faulty from the manufacturer. I would question it, even if the motorcycle had 15,000 or 20,000 miles on it, but less than 5,000, kept in a garage, and it's already rusting? That screams to me, - *Quality problem*! I reached out to Vance & Hines through Fort Wayne Harley Davidson to see if there was anything they are willing to do for me on this, since I have been a loyal customer Vance & Hines for years, but they declined to do anything about it. I get that the bike was purchased late in the season, 2022, which I only put a couple hundred miles on it before the season was over, but wow! I did not expect such low quality from a high priced motorcycle exhaust manufacturer. I was hoping they would stand behind their product, but no. This will be the last set of Vance & Hines exhaust systems that I purchase. They lost a loyal customer, over what probably cost them less than $100 to make. I would've been happy to install it myself, if they would've said "Yeah, it shouldn't be rusting! We'll send you the right side slip on right away!" Just be aware, if you are looking to purchase their product, that Vance & Hines quality seems to be declining, at least from my perspective. I will not have rusty parts on an otherwise pristine $30,000 motorcycle with less than 5000 miles on the clock, so I am looking for a new exhaust provider. Several of the riders that I ride with agree that there's a clear problem with this exhaust.
