The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I used to go here for years.. And Kathy is a phenomenal stylist. I went there today and got a haircut from Gayle. I showed her exactly what I wanted, and told her very specific details about the cut that I wanted, and what I normally do with my hair. For example I use a wax to mess my hair up. My hair now, couldn't be any more different from the picture I showed her if I cut it myself blindfolded. It's literally twice as short as I asked for. And at the end she put gel in my hair. Completely opposite of what I told her I generally do. Now I understand that hairstyles, head shapes, hairlines etc. differ from person to person.. And it's almost impossible to get an exact replication of what is in the picture. But a decent hairstylist will at least try their best to get it in the ballpark. This wasn't even close. It was as if I booked a flight to Las Vegas, and ended up in Bangor, Maine. With only a "sorry" after my distaste was voiced. If you need a good haircut, I'm sure Kathy at Linda's will do a wonderful job.. Gayle? Make sure she understands exactly what it is you want. And maybe double check with her a time or two. I cannot speak for the other stylists as I've never gotten haircuts from them. read more
