Shout-out and…read morethanks to Kene, Clayton & Lisa for seeing my wife and I late on a Friday evening, most certainly the last patients after what could only have already been a long day in this flu season. They waited till our flu results were known and then advised us how to proceed. Lisa was polite and helpful on the phone. Clayton went out of his way to answer our questions, provide medical guidance for flu-like symptoms, and even brought us a bottle of water while we waited for the test results. I can't speak to any of the my fellow Yelpers' review but based upon my experience, I'm glad I went and recommend them highly. I first started going to them for Covid tests during the pandemic and then for general medical guidance post-pandemic. The waiting room was clean, well lit, and nicely furnished. Thank you for reading, Patrick PS: oh, one female medical attendant took my vitals before Clayton but I neglected to ask her name. She too was lovely! (1/09 update: her name is Kene, thanks Kene!)

Dr. Elbaridi has fantastic bedside manner. He listens and discusses all treatment options in detail. I chose to do acupuncture, and Dr. Elbaridi referred me to Stacy Propp. I went to Stacy after the New Year, and didn't have time to write a review then because I was in the process of switching jobs. I saw her today because my pain came back. Hence, I am writing my review, which is long overdue. Stacy is just as wonderful as Dr. Elbaridi. Great bedside manner, listens well, and explains all of her treatment options in detail. Stacy is wonderful, and on my first visit, I had to give her a hug, because I left there feeling better than I did walking in. My acupuncture treatments consist of acupuncture first, then cupping, to help release the stagnation further, and third, acupressure seeds in my ear. When I am in pain, I can press on them for relief. I highly recommend Dr. Elbaridi, and Stacy Propp. I truly feel comfortable and at ease with them, and will continue to see Stacy for pain maintenance.

I filled out the paperwork and then was asked twice by 2 different people the same answers I had written on the papers. We finally were taken to a room at 1:45 (remember my appointment was at 1:15) AND we were told to arrive by 12:30 for the intake process. After being taken to a room, we were told the doctor would be "right in". We heard the doctor outside our door, thinking he was coming to see us next. He went into the room next to ours to see that patient that he arrived AFTER we did. At that time, we decided to leave because this was ridiculous. I came for therapy on my wrist and am in pain, but my time is valuable so I'll find someone else to assess my injury.

I was referred to her for prolotherapy to treat chronic lower back pain and I'm seeing relief I didn't know could be possible! She also recommended we conduct some screening for GI issues and hormonal regulation to address issues I'd been dealing with for so long I had become accustomed to them. It turned out I have a persistent GI virus, and during our follow up visit Dr. Li had the treatment ready to go. Dr. Linda Li's scope is as great as her skilled care. She takes public health and mental health into consideration during her initial assessment, recognizing the impact of trauma, environmental exposures, and social determinants of health of overall health outcomes. Dr. Li's integrative approach to medicine has been refreshing and absolutely made a positive impact in my health and quality of life. Thank you!

tl;dr: Dr. Suh is the best doctor I've ever had, hands down. And if you have trouble with contact,…read moreuse MyChart (mychart[dot]nm[dot]org). Dr. Suh is attentive, simultaneously both friendly and professional, doesn't rush you out the door, asks the right questions (she doesn't wait for YOU to mention that weird mole or why you've been refilling your xanax more frequently or whatever...), she's good at sensing/reading that there's something you want to ask but about which you might be afraid or embarrassed (I got over that long ago, but was a big help when I started seeing her about 9 years ago), and if you have test results, follows up with a phone call even if they're normal. And here's a big one - she treats you with respect. I've seen a few doctors in Chicago who have treated me like a child (one who did that recently was almost certainly younger than me) or an idiot (I'd like to think I'm not - I read a ton about medicine and science in general out of sheer curiosity, have a background in chemistry, and come off as well-spoken and intelligent [so I've been told]). I've seen a lot of reviews here complaining about the office staff, perhaps at the old location on Washington. They weren't without flaws, but I've seen MUCH worse (*ahem*women'shealthconsulting*ahem*). I think there might be a completely new staff at the Delano location, but I'm not sure; I've only had one visit there. The one complaint I have from my only visit to the new office is that, although I was quite early & Dr. Suh was running a little behind, they didn't offer to draw blood or get a urine sample while I was waiting (it was an annual exam - they ALWAYS do blood & urine). I probably could have asked though, or maybe there's a new protocol or something. Not the end of the world, for sure. If you have trouble getting in touch due to the Northwestern bureaucracy, I'd highly suggest using the MyChart portal to send messages to Dr. Suh, schedule appointments, ask for refills, etc. It really does work, I've never had a problem with it at all. Sadly, I'm moving out of state in about 6 or 8 months, so unless I get sick between now and then (fingers crossed I stay healthy this winter!), my most recent visit with her will be my last.

After a week of coughing and sneezing I called Dr Suh's office prepared to beg for an appointment that day. It turned out I didn't need to do much begging...there were able to fit me in with their Physician Assistant an hr later. Hurray! I don't take pleasure in visiting any dr, but this office is the exception. Everyone (and seriously everyone) is sooo nice! Friendly receptionist, super sweet nurse and Sharon the Physician Assistant was wonderful as well! I didn't feel rushed at all because Sharon, who sounds eerily similar to Ellen Page from Juno, spent a good amount of time chatting with me how I was feeling. After a blood test and confirming I was full of mucus (lovely, I know) she prescribed a z-pack to make me all better. Oh, how I love antibiotics. I left without even seeing Dr Suh, yet it was another 5 star experience!
