I'm really surprised at these low reviews as this was not my experience at all. Shout-out and thanks to Kene, Clayton & Lisa for seeing my wife and I late on a Friday evening, most certainly the last patients after what could only have already been a long day in this flu season. They waited till our flu results were known and then advised us how to proceed. Lisa was polite and helpful on the phone. Clayton went out of his way to answer our questions, provide medical guidance for flu-like symptoms, and even brought us a bottle of water while we waited for the test results. I can't speak to any of the my fellow Yelpers' review but based upon my experience, I'm glad I went and recommend them highly. I first started going to them for Covid tests during the pandemic and then for general medical guidance post-pandemic. The waiting room was clean, well lit, and nicely furnished. So I just got off the phone with the receptionist who informed me I am not the only patient seen today ! This in regards to me requesting my medication to be transmitted to CVS .. I was told I only mentioned a CVS that was closed! Horrible. It should be illegal for medical establishments like this to even exist. Their google reviews are most definitely fabricated, and it got me, the only reason why I went is because I needed somewhere to go asap and it showed up first with the best reviews. They charged me for labs I didn't need or ask. They gave me antibiotics before reviewing the test results, and when the test results came back I had called and asked for a follow-up. The lady on the phone was insanely rude. They prescribed me antibiotics for an infection that does not need antibiotics, they just gave me whatever and when I asked for more info they really didn't care. Disgusting clinic. read more

I'm not sure why all the reviews are so weird and negative but I've only had positive experiences here. They have been polite and helpful I get med refill appointments on telemedicine and it's always easy to get an appointment. I don't always have the same care provider when I go but they take good notes and are always thorough in ensuring I get what I need. Overall, I have appreciate the level of care I've received and they even identified that I had a vitamin D deficiency and helped me take care of that. I'd recommend you go if you need the care. No one paid me to make this review, I just didn't understand why the reviews were so bad because that has never been my experience. read more

They claim to make "appointments," and when you show up for the appointment, they just tell you that they gave away your time and that the appointment IS NOT AND NEVER WAS AN APPOINTMENT. If you really need to be seen, come in as a walk-in and ask to steal an appointment that someone else made, and they will apparently let you do that. read more

The nurse and the doctor listened well to my concerns and even sent me a pharmacy card for my prescriptions, as I'm a Medicare recipient without Plan D. I have never had a doctor's visit that required payment before the appointment. That should have been the first red flag. Then, while expressing my frustration about the lack of clarity provided prior to my making payment, one of the workers (Emma) had the audacity to say to me that maybe I didn't need to have my prescription by their office! I also just received a text thanking me for visiting them today but I was never there. so now someone else's ENTIRE PATIENT ENCOUNTER is documented in MY chart, which includes my name, date of birth, and SSN. not to mention being billed for a visit that is FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON???? The providers here are normally okay. The people answering phones arent always horrible. But I just called at 11:15 AM CST 08/39/24. It truly felt like my questions to the girl were a bother, because I'd received a response to a message via the portal almost like she was paying me to be on the phone with her. She said I couldn't speak to the provider and that there was nobody else willing or able to answer my questions, and that she would not be there tomorrow at 8 am so to call then. I asked for her name and she refused to provide it. Not sure why you are doing the work you do if you don't have the patience for people asking legitimate questions. I've noticed the bad reviews but seemed to have okay experiences for the most part outside of today. If you have questions about your insurance, an appointment, or a message you sent your provider please don't call them, because you will not be in your right to get an answer. Awful awful awful. However I went in for a general sick visit, and they told me I'd only need to pay my copay for the visit...2 weeks later they send me a $160 bill on top of that....which they never informed me about. $160 on top of the copay which is about $200 for a sick checkup is crazy. read more

I just want to get that out of the way as I am a PR/Marketing Professional with an Attorney for a Fiancé and don't want my review removed. :) Honestly I am writing this review as a place holder as I am beyond frustrated right now with several of the staff members especially Ms. Greco (who literally is sick and came in anyway to pass those germs around). That SASSY ATTITUDE needs to be brought down and she needs to lower that BARITONE several notes in that voice because she is BIG MAD. I guess they forgot I own a PR & Marketing Agency and have access to all the programs (from PR Newswire to SEO Programs, Media Contacts in both English & Spanish and most importantly the best system that easily verifies REVIEWS which from a quick check, I'll just say that 4 & 5 star reviews are giving a 97% FALSE rating. That is a violation of every review site out there and I can easily generate the report, send it off to the review sites and have them taken down by end of business day which in turn will take the profiles down and have their SEO virtually render 0 searches for anyone looking for a care center.) Also, in my opinion, their website is full of FTC Violations. Most concerning is the False/Misleading Advertising. You most likely won't see a Doctor, although it states "REAL DOCTORS, REAL CARE". In my case I saw a P.A., not even a Nurse! I wouldn't be shocked if they have C.N.A.'s or just ask for a C.P.R. certification for employees. This is all again my opinion and thoughts. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SEE A M.D. IN CHICAGO!? It's always a NP, ANP or in this case a PA? The owner doesn't even have a M.D. she has a D.O. Almost everyone knows a D.O. is akin to a G.E.D. and a M.D. is akin to a High School Diploma. They both are technically Doctors but one is a bit easier than the other, in my opinion. Now, I will say when I spoke to the owner Dr. Shah, she actually seems to be a kind and understanding person. It's some of the staff that she needs to check because she will always be held at fault for any of their mistakes. I honestly, would edit this review later if my situation is fixed. A situation that was made on their end. The rate it's going right now...looks like I am going to have to edit it but with much more detail and information. I would not really recommend this place for quality of care. You never get in with the doctor which is strange. I had to pay a bill from them and the insurance person over the phone kept saying I had to request a statement and kept gaslighting me on how to pay. This is the worst healthcare provider you can go for. First, they have overcharged for basic tests. During the visit, when I asked whether I would need to pay for these tests, they said 'your insurance policy covers these tests'. Yet, I get a bill of ~$200. Even after speaking to the team at the Clear Wellness Group, they have no shame, and suddenly changed the tone, saying 'you should have checked with your insurance provider'. Wow---in addition to the issues I had before, these thieves are now telling me I owe them money for my initial annual physical, and for my appointment a few weeks later when I was sick. They are billing me for... $72 for a pregnancy test during my physical. I did not consent to this, and at the time it was physically impossible for me to be pregnant which they knew. My insurance only covered part of this because this is not standard for an annual physical. An STD panel I did NOT consent to or request. This is not included in a standard physical, therefore not covered by insurance. Also not necessary. Furthermore, when someone from their billing team called me, they said I owed them money for labs that were done when I came in when I was sick. As noted in my other review, they didn't even do the labs! They canceled them days after my appointment and they didn't notify me. I ended up not getting proper care and my illness lasted for nearly 4 months when it could have been cured had I had proper medical care early on. I cannot believe this place is in business. CLEAR Immediate Care is an absolute scam. Awful care, unnecessary tests added on without consent, shady billing, and rude staff. TLDR; the doctors are ok, but the front desk staff is vile. Find a real primary care doctor and honestly, there are better urgent cares. The actual doctor and PAs are usually just fine. They listen and provide adequate care. The problem here is that the receptionist staff at this place are absolutely vile humans. I went to Clear for a couple of years for primary care as well as ADHD medication management. I had multiple times where the receptionist staff would tell me something different than my doctor about when I needed to come in person for appointment versus when I could have them online. After one argument with the front desk, (where I was told that I had to pay for a missed appointment after the front desk staff scheduled it at a different time than discussed) one of the staff members blocked my phone number. I cannot call the office with my phone anymore, I have to use my partner's number. The front desk staff would regularly refuse to listen to me and would look at my medical information and provide what amounted to medical advice without any qualifications. This office requires a monthly appointment for ADHD medication, which is more than typical primary care offices, and every 6 months you have to go in person. This poilicy is heavily enforced by the front desk staff though the doctors are more understanding about it. They're really mining people with ADHD for money. Once I had my doctor tell me I could come in person in another two months, so I naturally scheduled an online appointment in the meantime. The day before that appointment, I had a rude receptionist call me and tell me I had to go in person. When I told her what my doctor had said, she said the doctor was wrong and refused to let me keep that online appointment. I actually had to reschedule the appointment later for a fake reason. When I actually saw the doctor, she happily prescribed the medication and when I brought up the issue, she was like "ya they're pretty strict about that." The doctors are aware of the behavior of the front desk staff and they probably encourage it as it allows the doctors to be the good guys. Another issue here is that you cannot regularly see the same person, you will always be meeting new PAs and only some of them are good. I've had a lot of health issues dismissed by the low quality PAs. My final complaint is that the online scheduling system is not accurate. It will give a long list of appointment times that you can make, and then you'll have a rude front desk staff member call you and tell you when the appointment is actually able to be scheduled. When I've asked why their online system is incorrect, I've gotten the response that the doctor is supervising, so she's always available even though she's not in... this seems illegal. I've recently gone to a real primary care doctor who doesn't work at an urgent care center. The quality of care is really miles above what I received at Clear Wellness. They have more time for the appointment and offer tests when I bring up concerns rather than dismissing them. It takes longer to get an appointment, but I encourage everyone to find an actual primary care rather than using urgent care. Good doctors exist, you deserve better care than clear provides! read more

While they are a little bit of a mess administratively, all the doctors and staff are very kind, they are very efficient, and I never feel rushed. though I do manage to get in and out of there really quickly most of the time. Great doctors but the place will squeeze every last penny out of you, in any way they can. I simply asked for a prescription to be transferred from one pharmacy to another, mind you this prescription is for birth control and I had just had my check up earlier in June, and they told me that in order for my prescription to be transferred to a different pharmacy, I had to come in for another annual exam because the original prescriber was no longer there. This has never ever been an issue for me previously with any other doctors. I now have to wait almost 3 months to have a new refill for an appt in my new city, because of these assholes. Do they have any concern for womens health or just how much is in their bank? I mean, I now will be without BC for months because of them. They also withheld my prescription renewal last year, even though I had my usual annual, because they wanted me to come back for a deeper check and also get an ultrasound first. I would definitely not come to this office. It is more of a scam then a doctors office. Instead of helping you and getting you the care that you came for they are just after your money. I booked an appointment and wrote what I needed to be seen for and spoke with someone. The lady said everything looked good and the doctor would call me soon with the video visit. They charged me $175 and I paid out of pocket. The doctor gets on the phone for my appointment and tells me we do not fill that kind of medicine but I can refer you to someone. I told the lady on the phone and filled out all papers and they knew what the appointment was for. I told the doctor no that is ok I will find someone else that can take care of what I need. The call was less than one minute. Now they are refusing to give me a refund because they said it took a lot of time for the doctor to get on the phone to tell me she can't fill that kind of medicine. This place is a complete scam, no reputable doctor would do that to a patient that is looking for help. When I first came here I was happy was so close by and I liked Dr. Shah's professional and efficient service. The last time I came here was unfortunately disappointing. Had to take an EKG for upcoming surgery. Attendant and a trainee administered the test twice because first time did not register correctly. Unfortunately 2nd EKG came back abnormal. I had to get another EKG at a different facility for a second opinion which came back normal. This got me to feeling uncomfortably untrustworthy of this location and will be looking for another PCP elsewhere. read more

This is my preferred location to get a COVID test. If you're uninsured it's free with your SS number. It's easy to make same day appointments, and each time I've been tested I've been in and out in less than 10 minutes. You can choose between a rapid test or regular PCR nasal test (I always opt for the nasal test and the nurses are very gentle while collecting your sample). I've also never waited over 24 hours for test results. I've been to the free community sites provided by the city, but if you want convenience and a much less crowded experience and still receive free testing, this is a great option. read more

Last year I had surgery scheduled but needed pre-surgery clearance by my previous doctor (GP). I had to wait months for the apptmt and despite being assured that they had the equipment needed for the specific pre-surgery tests I needed, my previous doctor's office did not have it. My previous doctor's attitude was complete indifference and she told me I might have to change my surgery date. So I called and got an apptmt at Clear Immediate and explained my situation. They got me in right away and they actually had the equipment they said they would have. The doctor, the PA, and the staff - they didn't know me - yet everybody went out of their way to help me get what I needed in time for my surgery. After the surgery, you bet I swapped over to Clear Wellness. Since then, I've never had a negative experience there and I highly recommend them. read more

I fear I share the sentiments of all the clients that have given Clear Wellness a one-star rating. The words CLEAR and Wellness should not be part of your name. We needed a COVID Rapid Test for the purpose of entry into the European Union. We went to take our test 12/19/2020. Monday 12/21/2020 upon arrival into Netherlands we contacted CLEAR Wellness and left a voice message requesting an update on our test results. Needless to say, we have never been contacted. Seven days later I sent a message via the web to CLEAR Wellness letting them know that since we could not rely on them to get us the results in a timely manner, we would no longer need them. I also requested that neither I or my insurance company is charged. 10 days later we got my husband's test results. However, my test results are still a no-show. There is nothing RAPID nor CLEAR about the way this group does business. Please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Save yourself money and and aggravation. read more

I've been going here for a few years for my primary and urgent care appointments. In the beginning I booked with Dr Rinku Shah and she was great, attentive and knowledgeable. After trying to book online for her again, I received a PA. The last two services were not great with a NP. I went in for a sinus infection that I've been dealing with for a while, she did give me an antibiotic. I also took bloodwork for my cholesterol, which I told was elevated. I did receive the blood work results in my portal but never was called or wrote about a follow up. As my cholesterol was a little elevated. I had to go back because I was still having sinus issues. I did book online again with this particular NP , since I seen her a few weeks ago for the same issue. I'm a flight attendant and I can not work with sinus issues due to the pressure and I could possibly bust an eardrum, so this is affecting my work, as I need to work. I also, made the appointment to get my FMLA paperwork filled for acute sinusitis. I've been dealing with allergy and sinus infections for years but this year has been worse. So im trying to prepare for next year as I usually get them as the seasons change and I can not work like that, so I just need ur for a few times a year when it happens, so its covered. While I was there, she told me my left ear was inflamed and red. ( it was because of a flight the day before). She refused to consider signing my FMLA paperwork for an issue I have a history of and never even brought up my blood work results. She told me they don't do that there for just a sinus infection. The difference is, I'm not working on the ground with a sinus infection, I work at 40,000 feet At least 3 times a week. I love my job and dont want to be out of work. If she would've looked at my history and medical history, she would see I've suffered on and off from sinus issues. My goal was to use this as a primary source since I'm not originally from Chicago and looking for a consistent primary doctor. She never gave advice or information to me about my cholesterol or what I could do do assist with my reoccurring sinus issues. I felt like she lacks empathy, attention and information. I will say the front desk staff and manager were professional and empathic. However , I won't be returning for primary services. read more

I went for an appointment to establish care in order to get Rx filled for some chronic conditions. 15 minute appointment with a PA in which they did a standard vital check and asked a few surface questions led to a $1200 bill, which used up most of my deductible. They billed me for a follow up appointment to treat a condition I do not have have never had. That appointment never took place. My insurance company said I will probably be able to appeal, but that this office has acted in an unethical manner with how I am being treated. I am currently sitting on hold waiting to talk to someone about resolving this issue. If I could give negative stars on this review I would. Buyer beware! DO NOT BE SCAMMED!!! There's something sketchy about this place. They asked me for a credit card number and immediately after my televisit was done, I got a call from someone identifying themselves as a BOA representative trying to scam me. He had the very same card number that I gave the Clear Immediate staff when booking my appointment moments prior (I never use this card), and my address. This literally happened 15 minutes after calling them when I called them back to tell them about the fraud attempt, they seemed more annoyed that I would even bother to call in and report it. I've reported them to the police, my Insurance Company, the BBB and attorney general's office. Based on the reviews, it appears that so that they don't attempt to bill anything extra based on the other reviews. The scam artist that called me called from 708-254-1537. Clear also immediately called me back a few moments later to claim that my provider wants me to come in for an in person visit. I never even told them who my primary provider is!!! UPDATE I got a call from the office manager the following day asking if I had posted the review. It was admittedly a bit unsettling initially but it seems she was attempting to get more details around what happened. She also stated I was "not the only one" so clearly there is an issue with patients' credit card information being vulnerable and susceptible to scam. Shortly after our call, the scammer reached reached out again. This time from a different telephone number making claims that the same credit card had been used to make an unauthorized purchase (impossible) and that he was a BOA rep needing information in order to process my refund.
