I'm unsure who loves this place more-my children or me. We've been going here at least once a year…read morefor many years. So, yes it costs $13 for admission, which I feel is slightly pricey but when we go we always get a full day on the farm in so it's worth it. You begin with a guided tour which includes chicken catching, baby chicks & ducks, goats, pigs, cow milking, a pony ride for the kids & a wagon ride to name some. Then you get to go off & hang out pretty much wherever you'd like. We spend the majority of our visit catching the chickens (careful, it's addicting), visiting the baby chicks & ducks that are under heat bulbs, and playing with the kittens. There are benches to sit at if you bring a picnic type lunch so you can stay as long as you'd like. They've got a pumpkin patch in Fall, and along with the oranges ones, they've got gorgeous white & green ones for sale. Weddings! I recently attended a wedding here and it was spectacular! I'd get remarried just to throw a party in their barn. The food was excellent (I'm not sure if it was catered in or not), the way they decorated everything inside and out was magical, and the amount of space for guests seemed never ending since you can mingle outside or in. The couple getting married had their ceremony here as well. It was set up in a back field and they brought guests to the picturesque setting by wagon. For those unable to access the wagon, they had golf carts bringing people to that area as well. I honestly can say I have never seen a more gorgeous wedding, and they also knew how to make it fun & exciting for everyone. Overall, I recommend checking this farm out at least once. It's a great, interactive, family friendly venue to visit that creates lasting memories.

Kinda cool. The tour is ok. A bit pricey imo. The 'farmers' are polite and seem to know when to…read morestop the children from going too far. The poop in the climbing tires was awful. As was the response from employees. No one took care of the poop.

My kiddos are 2 and 4, and we also went with some cousins who range ages 7-10. The takeaway: this place is nice for all ages. My first impression was how well-kept Kelley's is! For being a farmstead, you'd assume the space to be a bit more untidy/dirty, but they do a fantastic job. We entered into the initial barn where we found a bunch of baby farm animals! There were plenty of staff members about helping kids take turns holding animals if they chose to. Oh and there is a big hand-wash station, which is of course appreciated. As we wandered on to the next space, we found tons of outdoor yard-like games and activities - everything from hula-hoop'ing horses and duck tik-tac-toe, to outdoor bowling lanes and ride-on trikes. Safe to say our kids were stoked! Another bonus: the huge corn pit. It was so busy while we were there, but it's big enough that there was still tons of space for kids to all play at once. It was filled with toys, trucks, and buckets too. The best kind of sensory overload. We then wandered into the next/lower barn, and to our surprise: tons more animals to interact with! Cute chickitties, little pigs & mama pigs, goats, chickens, the list goes on. It was kind of a shock how well-mannered all the animals, meaning at no point did it feel unsafe to interact with them. Overall a wonderful day out a Kelley's Farmstead. I definitely recommend checking it out and supporting the nice family that owns and runs the place!

The landscape opens up beautifully as you approach, and by the time you pull in, you're already in the right headspace for a great afternoon. Lakeside Park sits on the southern shore of Lake Winnebago, and the moment you step in, you understand why locals love it so much. Mindtrip The Lighthouse This was the highlight of our visit. The lighthouse is the city's signature attraction and most photographed structure in town -- built in 1933, with a flagstone base and a wooden staircase that winds up through the tower to a 40-foot observation deck. We walked all the way to the top and the views over the park and lake were stunning. It's free and open for self-guided tours from May through October 15, dawn to dusk. No excuses not to climb it. Fond du Lac Fond du Lac What's waiting for your next visit We only scratched the surface -- next time we're coming back to explore the full park. We loved walking around this large zoo and being able to interact with so many of the animals. It was nice that we were able to buy food to feed the animals when we purchased our admission. We arrived about mid-day, so that meant it was feeding time. After the animals were fed (what looked like maybe Panera breads and rolls) they were so loud and lively! It was really a cool thing to see. If you have small children with you they might be scared by the loud sounds, but we did see a lot of kids there who were enjoying their visit. The little petting area at the end was a nice bonus too. The attendant was very friendly and told us about some of the animals. Not a bad way to spend a morning or afternoon if you're in the area, just make sure to wear good walking shoes!
