As first-time daycare parents, we were very hesitant about leaving our son in someone else's care. From day one, the staff eased every concern we had. They treated him like family, and it didn't take long before he was excited to go to school every day. One thing we really appreciated was how the classrooms are separated by age groups--infants, toddlers, and preschool. This allows each child to receive the attention, care, and age-appropriate learning they need. Our son has learned so much over the last three years, and he is more than ready to start TK thanks to the amazing teachers who helped him grow. The teachers truly make this place special. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Elias, Ms. Henderson, Ms. Barajas, and Mrs. Martinez. Your patience, kindness, and dedication have meant the world to our family. We are forever grateful for the love and care you gave our son. Another huge plus is the security. The doors remain locked during daycare hours, and only employees are allowed inside the facility. If someone other than a parent is picking up a child, they must show a valid ID before the child is released. Those extra safety measures gave us tremendous peace of mind. Very kind, sweet, and friendly. However in regards to a kindergarten teacher, I would not recommend. You would be doing your child a disservice enrolling them in her class. The parent / teacher communication was horrible! My child did not excel near as much as I expected. Especially for a premium private school. My other children did great with members of the other staff. However one child coming from her class was what I feel, a complete waste of a year towards my child's development. Kindergarten is such a huge start to my child's future and I now understand why there is a huge lack of children that transfer from pre-k to the kindergarten program here. Although I do like Mrs. Franklin, I would not recommend her as a kindergarten teacher for your child.
